Curry kitchen in Torfaen

Have used this takeaway many times over the last few years and not having ordered for some time decided to order on a Tuesday for delivery. Rang at 6.15 pm and told 45 mins to an hour. Started chasing delivery (several times) from 7.30pm onwards and food finally arrived at 7.45 an hour and a half after ordering. Did get an apology from the delivery guy but food was not the standard it used to be and all had to be warmed up. Looks like previous reviews are similar but we did give them a chance. Unfortunately not again and will go elsewhere.

Ordered food at 5pm to be delivered at 8pm, food come at 8:30pm with only half of the order, whist phoned to tell them the Lady was rude on the phone saying she send the rest out when they get time, hour and half passed and still not turned up, so phoned again to the response from the rude lady that they are busy and bad weather, so could not send the rest of my order. 2weeks on and still refusing to give me a refund or talk 2 me. ADVOID THIS PLACE

Worst meal I ever had. To top it off very bad customer service by the lady who took the order. First of all I order a chicken madras and received a chicken tikka madras I phoned up to say I order chicken madras not chicken tikka, the lady goes to me at least you received chicken. My Nan was well over cooked and to crispy and not soft. Delivery time was initially 1hr but received my meal 1hr 40mins after ordering. Not a happy customer. I would not recommend curry kitchen to anyone. I Should have stuck my regular with zaffran Cwmbrân.

Ordered several times food is 10/10 and customer service is spot on. Couldn’t ask for better staff food or price 👏🏾

Ordered a meal at 5pm, advised that we had our meal delivered at 6.30pm . When calling they advised that the health board was there checking them and they couldn't cook anything . Said at 7pm my food is started to be cooked now . Be with you in 20 mins . We waited till 8pm and still no food . Called and they said it wil be with us again in 20mins as it's out with the driver. Sam turned up the driver with the food at 8.15pm and he said that it wasn't the health board they had a gas leak. The problem I have is, lies . The curry kitchen I have gone to for many years, but for the past 12 months they have gone down hill. They say a time of when your meal is ready and you have to stand in the shop for an average 20 mins wanting. An extra bit of customer care . If it's going to be late call the customer, don't lie, be honest This is the last straw now . I won't be going back . Shame because it is a nice curry shop

Placed an order for delivery Had food after 2 HOURS ( told 50mins) food was stone cold rang for help rudest man ( the manager) hung up on me! Went down there for a refund tried to con me telling me I ordered online when I paid cash! EVENTUALLY after a massive load of abuse got my money back and as I walked out got called a stupid cow! How is this place still in business?? Also as I arrived I overheard the manager laughing with a colleague about a gentleman who rang to complain after also waiting 2and a half hours for their order with the comment “ what can he do?” Said about the gentleman customer AVOID AT ALL COST NOT WORTH THE HASSLE

Ordered at 7. 00 pm and was told it would be 45 minutes wait so after 8.00pm I rang to ask the ETA of my food and was told it was on the way after I waited a further 40 minutes and nothing had arrived I rang again to ask and he insisted it was on the way the drivers just "slow" just gone 9.00pm my food turned up an hour and 15 minutes LATE!! and out food was room temperature and everything was bone dry the sauce was like a paste will definitely not be ordering again total waste of time and money!!

Ordered a meal for delivery! Rang at 8 pm gave order & was told it would be a hour until it was delivered! Still sat waiting at 10.35 I tried to ring loads of times no answer!! It’s disgusting they havnt even got the decency to answer the phone!!! Will never order from this place again!

Had an order for keema curry and korma and chips etc... however the keema was so watery and the mince didn’t even look like mince highly dissatisfied also bottle of pop didn’t arrive so then was sat waiting ( only possative thing was they re sent curry’s) which were hotter but exactly the same full of sauce and just no effort at all! Disappointed!

1st time visit courtesy of Just Eat. Excellent tasty Balti Curry, would definitely recommend & I will be back.

The food was quite good, although some items were strangely coloured. I did order nan bread that was missing, however the amount of meat that was in my lamb Jalfrezi more than made up for it, very generous compared to other takeaways. Would eat there again 👍👍

Best curry take away in Cwmbran and great prices will definitely use again very good service and chicken breast used in curry.

We have used this take away a number of times now The food is superb, tastes marvellous and great portions The chicken tikka masala is gorgeous as is the korma Well priced and the staff are really nice too They do deliveries as well for those who can't get to the take away itself We will be using this a lot now we have found how good it is

My daughter and myself love the naan bread wraps .All of the different ones are worth a try but be warned ,they are huge!! Very friendly staff and delivery is excellent.All piping hot.Give it a go-you will go back !!

Not a restaurant but a takeaway. I've been here loads of times, I've yet to have a bad experience either with the food or the delivery. Portions are extremely generous. Always nicely cooked and evenly spiced. If it's heat you like then a quick mention will get additional punch in your sauce. Just the best ! Recommended.

Ordered from here twice & food arrived late & cold both times. Over 2 hours for a takeaway is not good enough. Won't be returning.

Viernes por la noche para llevar a menudo desde la cocina al curry y nunca en Croesyceiliog es una decepción. Salsas de carne tierna y preciosa, buenas porciones de tamaño. Nos gusta la cocina al curry, que es increíble Tali valor, más que suficiente para dos personas además de izquierda superpuesta para el sábado el almuerzo. El servicio siempre es bueno y no hay que esperar mucho tiempo.

Pedimos desde aquí innumerables veces. Aparte de quizás 2 veces, siempre hemos tenido una buena comida desde aquí.

Lovely food, very friendly staff & we use it weekly. We have never had a bad meal from them, they will even cook off menu & spice it up to your taste!!

Tengo la suerte de casarse con una mujer india que le encanta cocinar - cuando decide que no tienen tiempo o la inclinación pero quiere auténtico curry que gire a la cocina de curry en croesyceiliog. Soy un hombre local muy contentos de que mi ciudad natal tiene una primera casa todavía sin pretensiones de curry. Mi esposa siempre tiene el tandoori Mixed Grill - más que suficiente para dos y sólo cuesta 9 libras. Yo elegí el keema, e hijos Bindi o un Biryani. Siempre muy bien y siempre una buena relación calidad-precio. El roti es auténtico y un perfecto acompañamiento a los platos con una salsa. También hemos utilizado para complementar los partidos y eventos como fiestas grandes de la cena de cumpleaños. Es llevar sólo pero ofrecen servicio a domicilio. Nunca nos defraudó y el personal es amable y servicial. Habiendo escrito esto creo que voy a pedir uno!

Aún así fin a una semana, este lugar no conseguir el crédito que se merece con sólo 5 comentarios aquí ... Nuestra última comida era increíble una vez más, la comida absolutamente caliente a la llegada y una vez más de primera calidad! Muy muy recomendable!

Been using this place for years great curry, home made chips that's always a bonus always delivered piping hot and on time

Absolutely stunning - have been using for the past year every Friday night and never had a bad meal, the taste is out of this world! The owner is more than helpful and always gives extra's and the food portion is superb.You must try the Tandoori Chicken Tikka Masala (£5.90) - i guarantee it'll be the best one you will try.
