Ordered only at 1632 and food was not ready to collect until 1730 despite being told it would be 30mins when ordering. I was marked as order number 2 on my receipt but takeaway orders left before I got my order (which included pizza boxes) so it looks as if they prioritise takeaway over those waiting. The first order was also a lady waiting that had quite a wait as well. Waiting area is cool temperature and there is no background music or TV to help pass the time. No staff manning the counter either for you to ask whatâs taking so long for the food to come. They did apologise for the delay but nearly an hour wait is very excessive these days, especially at this time on a Tuesday. The food we ordered was nice. However, with the kids meal they advertise that the kids get a juice (we selected apple) and a free cookie. We received neither of these with our order. We did receive a free cheesy-chips. Parking is very limited on street although there is a council carpark around a 7min walk away.

We eat Indian food everywhere we go, regularly cook it at home and we buy takeaways from different restaurants once a week. It is usually excellent. This place was the first really disappointing experience weâve had in years. Ordered four main dishes which were all basically the same. Characterless, watery veg and really lacking in flavour, complexity and depth. Texture of each sauce was the same too. Pilau rice was just basmati stained with turmeric and the naan was flat and dense rather than fluffy and light. There is not competition for miles around but seriously⊠must try harder. Not at all recommended.

Just today had a takeaway from Shukria Indian Cuisine, and Iâm honestly blown away. From starters to mains, everything was packed with flavour and arrived hot, fresh, and beautifully presented. Starters: The Chicken Lollipops were an instant hitâcrispy, juicy, and seasoned just right with a spicy kick that made them seriously addictive. The Sheek Kebab was smoky, succulent, and full of those bold, earthy spices that make you crave more. A proper, authentic start. Mains: The Chicken Jalfrezi had the perfect balance of heat and tang, with tender chicken pieces and a rich tomato-based sauce full of peppers and onions. The Lamb Bhuna was a standoutâslow-cooked, deeply spiced, and melt-in-the-mouth tender. It had that traditional Bangladeshi touch that you just canât fake. Sides: The Dal was creamy and comforting with that homestyle, garlicky finish. The Sag Aloo was perfectly cookedâsoft potatoes and fresh spinach in a lightly spiced blend that paired well with everything. Rice & Bread: The pilau rice was fragrant and fluffy, and the naan was soft, slightly charred on the edges, and ideal for scooping up every bit of curry. Overall Experience: Shukria absolutely nails that Indian-Bangladeshi fusionâflavourful, generous portions, and consistently well-made dishes. Delivery was on time, the packaging was tidy, and nothing felt greasy or rushed. Highly recommend if youâre craving a top-quality desi meal at home. Rating: 5/5 â Will definitely order again!

The food is incredible, and the service is very good. The staff are lovely, so quick at serving and taking orders. The tables are clean, have good condition, and the seats are excellently comfy. Five stars đ đ€© âšïž.

Went for dinner on a Saturday In January, place seemed disorganised and short staffed lots of uncleared tables which resulted in a wait to get seated Food was decent nothing special typical Indian offering , tasty enough but not anything out of the ordinary. What stood our was 2 things, the impersonal service that had a production line feeling to it and tired décor and furnishings - in particular a filthy carpet! As soon as our starter was finished and we placed our cutlery down within 10 seconds the plates where whisked away and within 15 seconds our main course arrived, hardly had time to gather ourselves. In addition this place was refurbished 15+ years ago, as a local I recall it, and its hasn't been touched since, the carpet is filthy- very off putting when you're eating there - overdue for a refresh and a refit!
