The best restaurants serving Indian food in Street North Mendip South West

Four of us visited for the first time and we were very impressed. We were welcomed and shown to our table very courteously and first impressions were positive. Very smart appearance, clean and well maintained. Our drinks order was brought to the table quickly and our food followed after we had finished our poppadoms served with delicious dips and relishes. Our main meals were excellent with good sized portions. All the staff were friendly and helpful. So pleased we chose Cardamom Sandown and will definately be returning. Highly recommended.

Krishna jossiya bheeban and surdasun. I had a very nice stay at the Taj Clubhouse and the staff were very accommodating.

Just the most delicious food ! The Chicken Mirch is fantastic, but I asked if they could spice it up a bit, to “Madras Hot” - which they did. Result was a heavenly dish !!

Really nice food and service. Really enjoyed it. We loved the freshness of the food and also the wide choice. Staying in the area for the first time for a few days and this was our first meal out here. Not disappointed. Chap serving was really excellent too.

Quite a very good spot...food was good and tasty..must try will be lamb rogangosh with Roti.. paneer Curry was also nice and highly recommended..

We stumbled into Masala Grill and don't regret it at all! The staff were extremely friendly, but didn't bother you every 2 minutes to ask if everything is okay. The portions are big, came quickly, and were very tasty. Absolutely no complaints, will definitely visit again!

This is usually a great place,i allways order a Dhanzak but this time was not up to scratch with no lentils,just didn't seem right.

Bought two lamb Biryani's and a saag paneer. Biryani's were fresh and tender and the vegetable curry was lovely. The side of saag paneer was the best I've bought. Each cube of paneer had been fried to a golden cube giving it a wonderful flavour which was well paired with the creamy slightly sweet spinach sauce. Will be back x thank you

Ordered the food at 7:20pm. Phoned multiple times being told the food is on the way it’s now 10:00pm and still no food. Absolutely raging.
