We stumbled into Masala Grill and don't regret it at all! The staff were extremely friendly, but didn't bother you every 2 minutes to ask if everything is okay. The portions are big, came quickly, and were very tasty. Absolutely no complaints, will definitely visit again!

We ate here as a family of 5 on a Groupon deal. Service was superb. Nothing was a problem. Staff were efficient. Food was great. Quick and efficient.

Our first visit but definitely won’t be our last. Food was excellent and our server was a lovely young man who could not have been more helpful or attentive. My mince samosas were probably the best I’ve ever tasted, and I’ve tasted a few. Already looking forward to returning.

As per my previous review I said I would be back as I had such a lovely time with friends and family with a lovely meal. However, this time round I can not fault the food as it was delicious but the service we received was disgusting. The chef and cook were shouting at the chap serving us and when we ordered more food we got told why couldn’t we order it all at once and that they’ve been really busy. I do understand their point as it would have been valid if we were eating for free but we were paying customers and if we decided to order more food it’s business for you..totally shocked at how we were treated. Hospitality means more than food and in this case I don’t see myself going again. My sister told me their service had gone down but I failed to believe her. They proved her right. Avoid going if you respect yourself.

Just sat in here for the first time and the food was fantastic as was the service, would highly recommend.

Friendly staff, food didn’t take long. Fresh and tasty. Really enjoyed it myself as so did my family. Will visit again in the near future

Takeaway tonight, so much food😳. We ordered far too much thinking everything would be starter size. Delicious chickpeas with Puri bread. Fish pakora was spicy and tasty. The chicken doner and chicken tikka were tasty. Masala chips, great big box of chips with masala spices. Excellent value.

The boss was very friendly and generous with the portions! Highly recommend the biryani dishes, great flavours

I ordered a takeaway last weekend. Starter, main, rice and peshwari naan. The main (curry) was not nice at all. I would not recommend here. Edinburgh has much better curry houses than this.
