Amazing food, best in Camberley

Have been many times and also had takeaways. From my very first visit to the most recent I've never been less than impressed. The food is outstanding along with the quality of ingredients, the service is second to none. When my family visits it's the go to place for a special meal. Cannot rate highly enough. May our patriotism long continue. Worth more than FIVE STAR review.

Lovely south Indian food. Loved the dosa. Sambar and chutney were authentic. Reminded us of our home made food. If you want a proper south Indian food, this is the place to visit. Mr Patrick was kind and friendly.

This was the first time we’d dined at Mehdi. After a warm welcome, the service was equally attentive throughout. The food was also very good. The highlight for me was a Paneer Jalfrezi main course - which wasn’t on the menu - but which the chef was happy to prepare for me anyway. The restaurant had a really good atmosphere for a cold November evening. In summary, an excellent experience and good value for money.

Amazing service and food was absolutely delicious. We will definitely come back and i would strongly recommend to everyone!

I recently arranged my office christmas party at this olace for 30+ people. They hosted very nicely and managed real good. All of the colleagues were very happy with the food. Only complaint I have is they had other guests as well and very few staff, so the food orders were getting severely delayed and even the staff was looking over worked. No complaints with food though. Top notch. Ambiance is very nice, the restaurant manager is very nice and friendly. He managed all the crowd and even attended us personally to manage the event.

I ate here a few times when staying locally for work. Made a detour on way home from London with family and was not disappointed. Food is very tasty and on the spicy side which suits us well. Service was good and we brought our dog in as well. Will definitely return when passing or maybe even try the Southampton restaurant.

Live local (5 minute walk) so thought I’d give it a try. Feeling lazy on a Saturday eve so thought I’d order delivery - it took 1 hour 15 mins. When I called to ask how long, they said ‘10 minutes’. I received my food 25 minutes after that. Small portions, watery tasteless curry, no actual lamb mince in the keema naan. Really, really poor all round. Will be going to literally any other curry house next - just not this one! Avoid at all costs.

Whenever we visit our son we treat ourselves to a meal from Amish. Having eaten there when it was a sit down restaurant we continued to have take away food and have not have been disappointed. We had Chicken Passanda, Lamb Sag and Lemon rice. The portions were generous with plenty of meat. Looking forward to our next meal!

Recently visited this restaurant for the first time during the evening with my Son who had purchased a take-away previously., this time we dined. It has 30 covers and is quite cosy, very well & appropriately decorated, fortunately no annoying background music, the service was good, although initially, we were the only 2 diners! The food was very nice & tasty. Bear in mind that they are not licenced, but you can take your own alcohol in with you. Overall, very satisfied with the experience.

Having recently moved to the area we have tried a number of curry houses. Himalayan restaurant was by far the best of any of them. We really enjoyed the curry, momos, and the other items we ordered. The chapati's were super light and soft. The beers were reasonably priced & it's a nice little restaurant. We are really glad to have found our local for both takeaway and eat in. There are curries on the menu that we haven't tried before, So lots of choice.

Great food - me and a friend were catching up over a meal and the food here was excellent - hosted by Roy who was helpful throughout we enjoyed it !

Best Indian meal I’ve had since lockdown! I had Chicken Tikka Byriani with a madras sauce. Fresh, tasty with lots of texture..
