Probably the best Indian I have had. I don’t usually write reviews but felt compelled as the food was so good. Staff are welcoming and the restaurant is spotless. As someone else mentioned, you are in for a nice surprise if you order the onion bhaji. My wife mentioned that the wine tasted crisp. Great experience, will be the only place I go to now for a curry.

We have been visiting Pride Of Burnham for many years we’ve eaten in and also have had lots of takeaways. Khan and his whole team make us feel very special when visiting. We cannot fault the food and the friendly service that we receive we would not go to any other Indian restaurant. This is our go to place prices are very reasonable.

One of the best Indian restaurants I have been to in a long time. The staff were attentive, the dishes were so tasty and fresh. The menu offered a variety of classic curry's, traditional dishes and chef specials. We also popped outside as we were intrigued by the huge outdoor area at the back, I look forward to dining in the summer! They didn't have any cocktails available but a wide selection of wines and spirits.

Shame on you. Waited in restaurant for a take away and realised we'd been overcharged on 2 main courses. Quietly tried to sort it out and they gave us money back but then another member of staff came over and challenged us and whipped the bill from us. We've been going there 10+ years and the customer service is now simply disgusting. Rip Off Merchants.

THIS RESTAURANT NEEDS SHUTTING DOWN I have not reviewed anyone before but I need to warn you … First when we went in we got looked at like we were not welcome. With at least 20 seconds before we had to say we would like to eat here. Waiter was in a bad mood shouting on the phone and then spent ages talking to other staff about how bad customers are. We eventually got seated in a hot and muggy table right at the back of the restaurant . The restaurant was completely empty ( on a Friday night) . Waiter asked if we could afford a drink …. Which I can! We were made to feel extremely uncomfortable so decided to ask for a takeaway instead. Oh the food was blended for a baby. I have never seen a curry look and have it taste so disgusting in my life! I cook regularly myself. But this was atrocious and a special occasion for me. I think the only thing they cooked was the rice. Now as I am writing this review my stomach now feels like hell and I keep needing the bathroom due to the food. I’d advise you think twice before ordering or going to this restaurant unfortunately.

Super expensive Indian restaurant who also do takeaway, the food isn’t bad to be fair, but ordering the lamb curry, no free side salad, or even a small mint sauce etc, naan is an expensive addition, not a good deal. I ordered via a delivery app, they need to be more generous for takeaways, won’t be stung again unless they give more like most Indian restaurants.

Fabulous takeaway! Incredibly tasty food, good sized portions, delivered vacuum-sealed and nice and hot! Would thoroughly recommend. Best Indian takeaway in the area.

Great service from them, we've ordered several times now. They're also super nice on the phone and in person, and more than happy to accommodate our needs (veggie/vegan so no ghee for instance) Food feels fresh, and when we need it to be spicy, they do it well. It's going to become a regular takeaway for us! Thank you!

Our group or 8 arrived on time at 7:30 on Saturday 30th November and were asked to sit in the bar area which we did for 15 minutes. The decor inside Malik's is nice. We were then shown to our table at 7:45 despite the table being laid and ready when we arrived, so there was no reason to keep us waiting for 15 minutes. Popadums were ordered and for some reason the waiter only took drinks orders for half the table, 10 minutes later the other 4 diners were able to order their drinks. The restaurant was too warm and despite asking for the heating to be turned down, I did not notice any temperature reduction during our 2 hour visit. Note : £6 for a 330ml bottle of beer is simply outrageous. You need to seriously review this price structure. No draught beer and no 660ml bottles The table also asked for a jug of tap water and had to ask three times before it eventually arrived. At 8:30, we were finally asked for our main orders which was placed and the food arrived at 9:15, some 90 minutes after being seated. I would estimate the restaurant was at around 50% capacity so the unreasonable length of time was purely down to a lack of staff. 2 diners had Chicken Dhansak which they enjoyed, although said it was a little on the sweet side. 2 diners had Lamb SIKANDARI LAMB which was underwelming, not enough spice seasoning and was closer to tomato and onion sauce. In summary, both diners agreed this dish was bland and certainly not worth the £22 price given the the lamb shacks were on the small side and the dish was not not spiced suitably. 1 diner had NAZAKAT and they were not particularly impressed with the dish calling it average at best. The bill arrived and I asked about one item which the waiter somewhat abruptly informed me this was the service charge. A general consensus of the 8 diners all agreed that a service charge was not warranted given the time taken to deliver the main dishes and the quality of 3 of those dishes. The cost of the meal & drinks was then split equally amongst the 4 couples and when it got to the last person, the waiter was tapping furiously on a calculator saying it doesn't add up. I explained that we had all paid the cost of the meal and not the service charge and the waiter then said we've messed everything up. When I also said we were kept waiting 15 minutes before being seated, the waiter informed us we we talking, but I informed him we were waiting to be seated and I could see our table from the bar area, so there was no reason to keep us waiting so his rudeness was simply uncalled for. I've never not paid the service charge before so a combination of waiting times, temperature heating,3 average to bland dishes and an arrogant rude waiter are the key reasons why the £33 service charge was not paid. The level and quality of Indian food has improved significantly over the last 10 years across the surrounding areas (Rickmansworth, Ickenham, Ruislip) so if Malik's is going to charge these prices, it has to raise it's game in terms of the quality of the dishes and the waiter's attitude. Under no circumstances should the waiter be rude to customers like this on at least 3 instances and for that reason I will not be visiting this restaurant again. Personally, I would avoid this restaurant as I feel it's perhaps got rather arrogant based on it's celebrity customers that it doesn't treat normal customers properly. https://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUserReviews-g499485-d1534166-r982914531-Malik_s-Gerrards_Cross_Buckinghamshire_England.html#
