They have reduced the portion size so much and increased the prices. Such a shame it used to be our secret little getaway place to get some decent samosa and chaat on the motorway

First time visiting this motorway service option and was very impressed. The guy serving was super friendly and smiley. I had the lamb with pilau rice and curry sauce and it was delicious. Great value and service.

Would definitely recommend the chat dishes, very tasty. The masala tea was good to, not too sweet so all in all a great place to eat good value food.

Just ordered a chicken biryani and was very dubious about what the quality would be like but I’m very surprised, it’s very tasty, rice and chicken are fresh, it’s spicy and the crispy onions are very nice. Great portion size too. Would recommend over the other fast food options here at the services.

Undercooked rice, zero flavour, no spice, no garlic, naan bread more like a squashed roti but tough and chewy. Hands down one of the worst Indian meals I’ve ever had. Would rather a supermarket microwave meal

Ordered a chicken biryani, paid £8.99 for it. Got a bix full of rice and 4 small pieces of chicken. Annoyed.

Disappointed, close to getting 2 stars but have to ask myself what was I expecting from a service station. Got a double kebab roll, nann bread was ok, meat was fatty, salad was more onions than salad. £9.99 for a sheek kebab meal is unreasonable!

Good, different lunch. Curry & rice (mild chicken tikka), samosa & chai massala £10. Generous portions, solid chicken (not red), tasty rice, quick, hot. All good flavours - spiced Indian-style rather than "indian resturant" style. A great find!

Popped in to Beaconsfield services for something to eat on wat to Heathrow airport. I chose tapoori and ordered a chicken chilli curry and rice. Must say it was delicious and really hit the spot . Will be using again

Bought Samosa chaat, Chicken tikka and kebab. I have to say, one of the best SAMOSA CHAAT i have ever had. Makes me want to go there again. Chicken tikka and the kebab was also yummy. Would try the biriyani next time.

Good food and service, the people working there seem very nice. Had a chicken biryani which tasted nice and fresh. Bought the large portion...feed 2 people at least. Also had their masala chai, perfect after the biryani.

I was genuinely blown away by this, I didn't think motorway service food could be quite this good. It takes a bit longer than some of the other options in the place but it's so so much better.

Ordered 3 things - Paneer Biryani Chicken Tikka Rice Bowl Samosa Chat All 3 dishes were immaculate and very tasty. I'm usually very picky about Indian food due to my Delhi and Punjab roots and my travels in culinary places such as Hyderabad, Indore, calcutta and lucknow . Just that the paneer used was the typical UK paneer which is rubbery. Try and use Apetina paneer which is softer and more like the Delhi paneer. Keep it up guys!

I always look for Tapori logo on services board. I have tried Biryani and Panjabi Samosas, but they never disappoint us. Great taste!

It was a wonderful surprise to find a Bharteey (desi) take away at a welcome break on UK Highway. Food was fresh n service was excellent. 👍

Can't describe how good this was! The food is really good with a very generous portion. The staff were very friendly and even let us sample some of the dishes. Would definitely recommend a visit and we will definitely be back:)

I do not recommend. Had chicken masala and I was very disappointed. As soon as I've started eating have noticed pieces of burnt chicken.

Wow, what a dilemma! My wife loved it but I wasn’t so sure!! We ordered two chicken tikka box meals. They come with rice and a naan bread. (My wife’s meal was missing her naan so we ended up sharing!) I found the curry to powdery, or a paste like texture. The flavour was good. However my wife loved it, and ended up eating mine! It come to £22 for 2 boxes meals and 2 cans of drink! Plus a missing naan bread!

Very tasty food, I asked for the verity box with the 2 hottest curries and rice. Had garlic chili chicken and fire cracker chicken. Both were good, with a bit of a kick, but not as hot as I thought it would be. Maybe on par with a Zinger. Good to see more choice in motorway services for food, as lorry drivers end up with the same old fast food at the end of the day... Only bad point really, it wasn't as filling as I'd expected for £11.

The lunch boxes very very tasty and fresh. It seemed like a bottomless box ! Onion bhaji is amazing !!! Will definitely come back

This is a really good Curry place and the portions are massive. I wish they would offer some still water though since I don't like their sweet teas.

I love everything about Tapori.Everytime I pass via Beaconsfield services i get a take away from Tapori.The chicken biryani,chai,samosa and Frankie rolls are a must try and the best.

Service was great, pleasant staff, good quality food, surprisingly Halal Dodd which is rare to find in services. We ordered karak chai, onion pakora/ bhaji, Aloo samosa & chicken Biryani. All the food was delicious.Portion sizes should be more as chai was so tasty and bhaji as well Biryani. Highly recommend food of this shop. Help small businesses. Must stop and try. We will try other dishes next time.

I regret not taking photos of the food because I wasn't expecting much from a food court but it's surprisingly good! Also had the Indian coffee, definitely try it if you like darker roasts. It was delicious and very smooth!

Absolutely shocking service. We ordered a panner wrap and chicken wrap. Staff repeated order back so you would think they have it correct. When the food is brought out they have given us x2 chicken wrap and my wife (who is vegeterian) has had a bite to realise it is chicken. I went back to the staff and he said you order x 2 chicken and I said no, he realised after it was paneer and apologised. A little to late as my wife is now put off the food. Left a sour taste as i threw the rest of my food away and told them not to bother making the paneer wrap. We left without staff turning to say if there was anything they could do and leaving my wife in a shock and completely put off. Thank you for your quality service. I won't ever be eating at any tapori chains.

Had great good when I traveled recently to UK from USA trip. Paneer wrap, chicken wrap, Samosa chat and chicken biryani is very good and close to India taste, wanted to have spicy and they accommodated. Nice one to try.

The quality of the curry seemed good and we’ve eaten a lot of Indian food! The portion sizes of the curry itself within the veggie curry box was small. Really large portion of rice but the Chana didn’t fill its section and the paneer chilli curry was in a tiny little section; I’d struggle to call it a portion of curry if I’m honest. I’m sure they used to do much better portion size. As service stations go a good food option.

Difference of price online (£6.95 on the web for a large, +naan bread), due to the company apparently reviewing their pricing/order platforms - (£6.99 for a small curry box, and no naan, in store). Explained this to the agents at the place, and they were most kind and understanding, and allowed us to have a 2nd (bigger) curry box, if we paid the difference (£6.99, and -£2 compensation). Overall, a fabulous meal, and we would definately eat here again, for sure! 👍😊

I was in uk last week i was searching for Indian food in motor ways.. i found a place near Beaconsfield services i was very happy to visit that place.. i have took some food from tapori ,( sheek kebab,) and biryani as well chicken tikka toooo.. it was really worst food i have ever had For travelling i took food from tapori... Food was very worst. I dont think they are eligible to run business. Staff are very bad. They don't even think about customers comfort. I say don't waste your time and money. Visited in May 2nd evng

Amazing food, great flavours… a delight

I went there over the weekend and ordered the garlic chicken and rice box meal. I vomited on Sunday, and I have spent ALL week on the toilet or vomiting. The rice tasted hard like it was old but I didn’t notice it at the beginning as I was super hungry and there was a lot of gravy! I would NEVER eat from there again. The lady wasn’t wearing a hair net either. Tbh I should have went with my gut (no pun) instinct and not bought from there. I’m currently in bed on Thursday 20th April 2023 STILL suffering. My husband bought a wrap and he was fine. The rice was stale and I have been terribly ILL since!!

Occasionally call in for lunch when travelling to/from London always have a spicy tikka masala. I've pointed out several times that the sauce to rice ratio is wrong leaving you with a half a carton of rice. Pointed out again today and they acknowledged it but the chef ignored me. I tried - from now on I will go next door to M&S and take something home. Sorry guys you lost me for the sake of 40ml of sauce...

The ABSOLUTWE WORST VEGETARIAN CURRY MEAL EVER!! For £8,50 you get about 1 kg of rice and a few chickpeas.. It's not real Indian food its Indian fast food.. No real flavour, cheap, no somosa, onion bhaji, sag aloo ect.. Its basically a bowl of rice.

Very slow service for a fast food at services, took more than 1/2 hr to get my chicken biryani which was advertised as £6.99 but was charged £7.99, so I assumed I was getting the large portion. Just two members of staff at a busy time, server kept apologising but my order was apparently lost. Then I realised my biryani came with nothing, no salad as advertised. Biryani tasted good but I was worried when I saw chef putting things in the microwave. I didn't bother to go back for the salad as the queue had built up. Need to improve their service!

They say their Kebabs are fresh, in actual fact they are serving frozen Microwave sheesh kebabs. Unbelievable how easy it is to lie and get orders. So don't bother with this curry bar.

Never ever try their Paneer Chilli Garlic Veg Wrap. The chilli sauce was horrible. TOO MUCH…!! It gave us stomachache. Samosa was good. I never write reviews honestly but their wrap made me do it…AVOID…!!!

This is great place for a quick stopover. Masala chai and samosa combo are the best. Just ask them to give Hot Samosas. Staff are nice and quick.

Freshly made, delicious india street food. My partner had chilli garlic panner and I had lamb sheek kebab curry. Plus roshgola was divine. Fantastic service from Haritha. Highly recommended 💯

We ate variety of foods here. Original Indian taste. Extremely tasty, simply perfect. A must try for everybody including those who want less spicy or proper Indian spicy.

Unbelievably poor service. 3 members of staff preparing one meal at a time between them whilst completely avoiding eye contact with customers and were not even able to apologise for delays. Haven't even tried the food yet. Edit: The food is quite nice but seriously let down by the service.

Tasty food (as good as many Indian restaurants) and top for value. We liked the eco-friendly cardboard plates an wooden cutlery. The choice is not vast but this is a motorway services place after all. The food was ready in eight minutes, which was not a problem (time to look at the magazines in the W. H. Smith concession next door. If you like Indian food, you will not be disappointed.

Stopped by on Sunday for a take away. Chicken biryani was excellent. However the box of motichoor laddoos was stale and gave us all a bad tummy. Really really disappointed as the best before date was September 22. Don't have the time to return the box at 6.49..please avoid it.

Enjoyed authentic Indian Masala (Spiced) Tea (Chai), Samosas & few Veg Eats - all very delicious. Since the Tea was not as hot as we are used to drink, we got a fresh one done - that was really nice. Would recommend to anyone driving anywhere around M40 (Beconsfield, HP9 2SE) to take a break & enjoy. Thank you guys@tapori for making our Sunday great, esp after we were driving back from a 12 day "Road Trip" tour to "Scotland", which was magnificent.

Biriyani simply rice mixed with meat and some gravy added to it. Nowhere close to Indian biriyani. Still better than fast food I think!

After a very long journey just fancied something spicy, their delicious vegetarian box was just what I needed great portion size, really lovely staff, definitely the best meal I’ve ever had at a service station.

The food absolutely amazing, such a great service to compliment the food. You would not expect for this hidden gem to be in the middle of M40. Highly recommend!

I really never thought I’d be giving a motorway service food outlet 5 stars but this blows the rest out of the water. Authentic Indian curry served with amazing naan and rice at reasonable prices. It’s certainly away from the normal offering but something that I would be glad to see in more places. The gentleman who served me was incredibly polite and helped me to get exactly what I wanted. Being a regular commuter from the South West up to Essex, I have changed my normal route so that I can stop off to this curry bar, it’s that good! I look forward to my next journey purely for this food!
