Our first time ordering from here and certainly won't be the last! We ordered a takeaway and cannot fault the customer service when placing the order or the delivery driver. We shared a selection of starters, all have different mains - chicken, vegetarian & seafood... all were delicious. Greatly appreciated the complimentary bottle of white wine too, we'll be back for sure!

An old friend of mine and I decided to go for an Indian. I picked this one by mistake. We walked in and were pleased to find it had air conditioning given how hot it is. The place was not busy. The food was great. I had popadoms to start with and they were warm! The onion bargees. The I had lamb pasanda with coconut rice. W will be going back there

Ordered from Peppers. Food arrived on time as stated. I’ve never had such a hot food delivery. I get fed up of lukewarm deliveries so this was great. Food was very tasty. Sauce could’ve been slightly thicker in my lamb madras but that was the only negative. Came with the usual freebies. Poppadoms, raita and mango chutney and onion salad thingy. These freebies were better than other Indian restaurants. Not so cheap tasting. Would order again.

I hold to my long term view that Peppers is the best of the three Indian restaurants in Burnham High Street. The decor is bright, clean, and inviting, while the service is friendly. I have sampled a range of dishes and all are delicious. Not overly spicy but well flavoured. Good value as well. We spent circa £50 for three of us for starter, main, and drinks, plus rice and naan. Definitely would not come back again. Very unfriendly service and the prawns in my curry were tiny shrimps and it was obvious that they were from the frozen aisle of a supermarket. The flavour of the curry was nice, but the prawns were so overcooked and chewy that I left half of my meal. My friend ordered a Special Biriyani and though it was a large portion of rice, it only has 3 pieces of lamb, 2 pieces of chicken, a few of those frozen shrimps in. The only good thing about this place is the mango lassi.

We have had a few takeaways from here, staff very pleasant when ordering on the phone and we always have home delivery, the issue here is that they sometimes say a time and it turns out to be quite a bit longer meaning we have had to chase our order. I do appreciate they have busy periods but I would rather have a realistic delivery time than be told what they think we want to hear then be frustrated when it doesn’t arrive on time. Back again to Peppers which I have reviewed several times. A great Indian in terms of food quality, décor, and service, and definitely the best of the three Indian restaurants spread along the length of Burnham High Street. On this occasion we visited on a Saturday evening and unfortunately, service was very slow. We arrived at 19:00, ordered quickly and had finished our starters by 19:30, but it took well over an other hour for the mains to arrive. The restaurant was busy but not completely full, but as we sat near the kitchen we could see the number of takeaway meals that we being sent out. No issue with this, but the service has to be managed to ensure takeaways don't impact the main dining experience. I would hope this is reviewed otherwise custom will suffer at peak times.

Being a Tuesday they were offering a special menu of a traditional starter, traditional main, vegetarian side dish, rice and naan bread for approx. £10.50 a head. Fabulous value when combined with a really well made quality meal. Haven't dined here, but ordered takeaway this evening and was disappointed. I ordered through the Just Eat website and requested that the veg curry be as hot as possible (preferably madras strength). In order to ensure this would be the case I phoned prior to delivery and was told that if I'd asked for it hot it would be hot. When it was delivered it had no flavour as was basically a creamy stew. I had to add my own spices in order to stomach eating it. The spicy poppodum was nice enough but overall very disappointed and will not use either the restaurant or just eat again

This is easily the worst so called 'Indian' restaurant I have ever been to. Food is unbelievably bland topped off by pathetic service. Though called as Indian food, it is not - it is run by Bangladeshis, and so all dishes - starters, main course, naans, rotis, yes everything, are ridiculously sweet!!We were the only ones in the restaurant on a weekday evening and that's a telltale sign. We contemplated from the outside whether to get in or not. However, having gone there, with no other 'Indian' joint nearby and with people hungry, we took the plunge. Well, it turned out to be a disaster! The service was really shambolic - the waiter never really bothered to ask us if everything was alright. He could see that we had not eaten 80% of the food at the end but he still did not care. Says it all really! We should have sent the food back and refused to pay, but we were too polite to make a fuss. Going here is akin to throwing money out of the window. You would be better off buying ready meals from the supermarket - costs a fraction of what you would pay here and would taste a million times better!

We have been going to Peppers for many years, both the restaurant and for takeaways and would usually give a top rating and recommendation. For several years we have ordered takeaways on New Years Eve and had good service (understanding that things will be busier and waiting times will be longer). But this year it seems something went badly wrong. Advised order would be ready for collection in one hour but arrived and left waiting for another 45 minutes. Delivery customers coming in to say they had been waiting 2 and a half hours. Food was cold when it finally arrived. Seems that there was a lack of organisation and quite a few dissatisfied customers as a result.Hopefully a blip and things will return to nirmal ... but this has shaken our faith in this otherwise fine restaurant / takeaway.

Service is always friendly, the food is cooked fresh (so can take a while) and the portions are generous. If you dine with any female friends, they always give the ladies a rose when they leave which is a nice touch

Back to the Indian restaurants now the cold winter nights are upon us, and I have to reaffirm my view that that Peppers is the best of the three Indian restaurants on Burham High Street. Another evening of very good food served in a friendly unassuming manner in a modern environment. I think the only thing I would do to improve Peppers would be to try different lighting. I think softer lighting would make the place perfect !

Had a takeaway from here yesterday. Food was tasty and the menu had a good choice. Was asked if i wanted any extra chilli sauce. Was busy but not a long wait for my order. Staff were professional

Having been to Peppers many times and spent a lot of money at the restaurant,I have noticed a decline in the food and service.Last night I was very upset by the attitude of the staff. They could not care if they serviced you or not, very rude.I will never go there again. In my opinion The Akash at the bottom of the high street is the place to go.Better food and better friendly staff.

Picked up a takeaway from here on Saturday night (they do deliver but we live just down the road, plus 10% discount when you pick up yourself!)Ordered quite a lot for 2 people – chicken pasanda, a lamb dish, tarka daal, 2 butter naans, aloo gobi, 2 rice and a mixed starter and it all came to a very reasonable £30! Not only did this fill us right up for dinner but there was enough left over for lunch the next day! Complimentary poppadum’s and dip thrown in as well which you may think is standard but many takeaways charge extra for these now.The quality of the food was fantastic – the lamb was soft and tender and the chicken was rich and creamy. Both naans were huge and the rice was full of flavour. I have never been to Pepper’s before but will definitely be coming back here again for my Indian takeaway!

I have not been to this resturant in a long while. was in the area so and it was a weekday evening. so I took a chance on just calling in without pre booking a table the restaurant was fairly busy but a table was available I know weekends that booking a table is a good idea I had a mixed starter which was really lovely the meats cooked just right very tasty I opted for a jalfrazi chicken main .. which I have to say was .. full of flavour and spicy just as I asked . the overall experience was well worth the extra journey for me and the staff was very good service just right without been annoying like in some resturants I told mr ipu who seems to be incharge there how good everything was I think it is equally as good to mention good service as its easy to complain if something is not good I will be returning again soon

A small restaurant, with friendly helpful staff. But sadly a bit let down by the food. I thought it was promising when one of the pickles had real punch - but it was not to be. The sheikh kebab was very rubbery and completely tasteless, not sure if the rest of the Peppers Special starter was spicy or not, as I then smothered it in the spicy pickle. For mains I had Kadary Lamb, which was tasty but is advertised as a medium curry, but I would say it was not even mild - it had zero kick to it. My wife's lamb sagwalla also lacked spice and she found it a bit tasteless. The others were ok, but they were not spicy people !

I booked a short break for me/my partner in Windsor and looked for a good Indian close to the hotel, so we pre-booked. We do eat out often at home, but I was hoping for something special when on holiday, and we got it.The service was excellent, the food was too much to eat, although we both wished we weren't staying in a hotel and could get it wrapped to take away, as it was melt in your mouth.Thank you to the young man who served and talked to us, it was his first day back at work in the restaurant. We felt like he really looked after us, our service was excellent.

This used to be the best Indian in Burnham, but lately the size of the dishes (particularly takeway) have shrunk and the spices that used to give the flavour have disappeared. On the last two ocasssions the food was rather bland.. Shame as it used to be so good.

I've only been here for takeaway, so can't comment on what its like to eat in here.Decor is relatively typical of lots of Indian restaurants, with fairly subdued lighting.Service is good - friendly & fairly speedy.Their menu is quite interesting - a lot of options that I've never heard of in other Indian restaurants.Food tastes good - not the best I've had, but definitely worth visiting if you are nearby.

Let me start by saying I am not a fan of Indian (nor a regular), so don't have a huge comparison base. That said, I was very impressed with the food last night (Sunday). We were the only dinners (7pm) with a few others popping in to collect take-away orders.Food was very tasty and well presented. I can certainly see me coming back and perhaps converting my wife to trying a few dishes.

My wife and I just moved to Burnham today and for our first night we had a plan to try Peppers. We were both so tired from the move we decided to try a takeaway and we're so glad we did. Our meal was delicious from first bite to the last; each dish expertly cooked and very authentic, the manager is a good man and is genuinely warm and friendly. This will be our regular!Highly recommended +++++

Being of Indian origin myself, i am always slightly skeptical when it comes to trying Indian restaurants. Many of them are catered specifically for British people, so a lot more milder in taste. What i like about Peppers (along with the modern interior and friendly feel) is they cater the food for their customers. The staff are very polite and even help you choose your food according what you fancy. If you go between Mon-Weds you will benefit from a special deal of £10.95, which will leave you not only very satisfied at the restaurant but also with a take away bag if you can't finish it all!The food is very well done and the meat is always perfectly cooked.A special touch of Peppers is their after dinner complimentary oranges, hot towel and mint chocolates. The best part of the evening, for a lady is to be given a beautiful red rose on departure.I have ordered take aways as well as eating in and never been dissapointed. I personally feel that dining at peppers is not just a meal, but an experience.

I am a frequent visitor to Peppers and feel it just edges out The Akash on menu choice and quality. The restaurant is brightly lit and open plan so it isn't your usual cosy Indian ambiance, but that's not a negative. Prices are very reasonable and the service very friendly. One of my favourites !

Visited this restaurant without having booked for a Saturday lunch. They were busy but happily accommodated us. The greeting was friendly and the restaurant was bright, airy and had a good atmosphere.
