The best restaurants serving Indian food in Arun South East

Great tasting curry but there wasn’t much meat in there (chicken) which made for a disappointing portion. Naan tasted stale and was tough, but they made a delightful sag paneer. So some good, some bad, which made for a mediocre review on average. Personally I won’t be ordering here again and will search for a better Indian take out near Rustington.

I would give it zero but app won't let me. Absolute #**# show of a delivery. Waited over 3/4 hour after delivery time and no food. Rang to query and they said it was in their kitchen. Weirdly less than a minute later a delivery arrives? Wrong bloody order so unfortunately driver had already left so we had to take the food back ourselves!! I wouldn't mind so much as we all make mistakes but this is the 2nd time they've done this to us! Also what about the other poor bugger who hasn't received their food. Don't make the mistake we made and order a delivery!!!

Having been here before I booked for a group of WI girls. Unfortunately a few went down with a bug before the event so only seven ended up going. I felt awful but the waiter was absolutely fabulous. We then proceeded to have one of the best Indians I've had in a long time. The food was totally amazing. Service was exceptional and they couldn't have been nicer all be it only half of us turned up. So thankyou Cardomom Bay we will definitely return in greater numbers next time.

The food was very good. We had chicken tikka and a tikka mixed grill. However the overall experience was let down by the atmosphere and lack of interest by staff. It felt like you were an inconvenience.

I organise a monthly Curry Club at Tajdar for locals in the village and we generally have 25 to 30 people attending. We always receive fantastic food served by the very attentive and considerate staff. We choose our food individually from the a la carte menu, so this imposes a huge workload on the kitchen team but they manage to cope with the food preparation without any undue delay. The chief Chef usually says 'hello' at the end of the meal and is always greeted with a round of applause for his considerable efforts.

We ordered a take away at 18.30 it arrived at 21.30.We phoned to ask where the deliver was after it was 30 mins late to be told it was on its way, We then phoned every 15 minutes to see where it was , when at 21.15 when we phoned they said sorry for the delay, they had put a bottle of wine in with the order. So this delivery could not have been on its way till 21.15.Seriously do not not use this place for delivery obviously lie continuously and as such have no respect for their customers. Definitely would not recommend.

I rated 2 stars as the service was just around what you expect, food was less then average (not bad but not the best indian). Keep working and I'm sure it'll lead to a better future.

I'm quite disappointed reading some 1 star reviews. Maryam food is so full of flavour. I have pathia and it's been perfect every time I've had it. Lovely and spicy. How anyone can say the food is tasteless is beyond me. 5 stars all round everything.

It doesn’t matter if we eat in the restaurant or have a delivery service which is also good everything is spot on, these people can really cook and give good value.
