The best restaurants serving Indian food in England

I had cheesy chips but unfortunately all the cheese stuck to packaging. Maybe a suggestion to pop cheese into a tub? Otherwise all good.

A great experience in a one of restaurant. This place is amazing, the food is authentic Indian food. I’ve tried the fish dishes and the salmon tikka is cooked perfectly and full of flavour. The paneer starters is very nice too, the samosas are unique and much better than you normally get in an Indian restaurant. The curries are superb, Bombay potatoes are so nice. The side dishes are not the same portion size as you would expect, but they are ample for two people and we aren’t big eaters. The cost is reasonable and definitely worth getting the loyalty card. The management are lovely people, they’ve worked hard to maintain a Great restaurant. I like that they are able to explain the history behind the dish and ingredients used to make the dishes so special. They also open Christmas Day, we’ve eaten there on Christmas Day and the atmosphere is nice and relaxed and great food again. One of the best restaurants in Maldon

The food and service were very good. The curries were fresh, subtly spiced and well presented. Good naans too! A very reasonable £72 for 4, which included 2 large Kingfishers.

A lucky find whilst visiting the neighbouring (linked) pub. Fantastic food, this was the best Indian food we've had in a long time. Beautifully presented and perfectly flavoured and spiced. Would definitely recommend The Indian Lodge and would love to return.

I have used all Of the Indian restaurants in bridport over the last 30 years they all suffer from inconsistencies , how ever for the last 6 months this restaurant has been outstanding

I always have takeaways,so last week orderd from Nargis Tandoori,ordered few tandori dishes also some curries!after long time had such a lovely meal,everythinghs was very delicious and warm,highly recommended for everyone in stroud also compliments to the chef and other staff!great food ever!

Great Sri Lankan little buffet. I highly recommend it if you like spicy food. The wait is a bit longer than usual because most of the time it's a one man operation, but it is well worth the wait and you always know that the quality is consistently good.

We recently stayed at a local air bnb who recommended Zeera and we were not disappointed. We ordered from the Sunday night buffet menu which was delivered promptly and was piping hot. All the food was delicious and tasted so fresh. Would highly recommend.

This is probably one of the best Indian restaurants I have been to. Delicious food, affordable prices, short waiting times.

Very friendly . Looked reasonably priced. BUT the food was tasteless and no I don't have COVID.. very little spice in the starters and the mains were like dishwater.... The chicken was of very poor quality. We thought it must be previously frozen as it was hard. It beggars belief I know as the previous reviews were excellent. But for me one bad experience will keep me away forever.
