Absolutely awesome restaurant… anyone in Sunderland must try this place if going out for a meal.. it’s up there with the best Indian restaurants and the staff make it extra special It’s a 6 out of 5 for me We’ll be back

This is a real gem of a place. Beautiful decor, welcoming, helpful staff and the most amazing food. Great menu choices at affordable prices. Choice of set menus as well. A truly amazing place that really should be packed out every night.

2nd visit here with my hubby and Food was delicious again will definitely be returning with children this time as they also offer chicken nuggets and pizza thank you

Only given one star as unable to leave none to write a review.. Customer service in this place is appalling.. A guest at our table started to choke and be sick, not one member of staff assisted from the restaurant. Instead they asked us if we could move him away from the table and to the toilet, baring in mind the person at this point was struggling to breathe. We had to leave to get him medical attention before food was served to which they refused to cancel our order, charging us full price for food that was boxed up and when we got home was the complete wrong order. £200 for 4 starters and a couple of pints is unbelievable. The food was very poor quality and service disgusting. We will not be going back.

Went as a family of 9 for 30th birthday meal. Excellent service from staff they were very friendly, food lovely they even had a kids option of chicken nuggets which was ideal for little one would definitely return and highly recommend

First time in this newish restaurant. Not in the usual restaurant area so might seem a little oddly placed at first, however, once inside, it is spacious, clean and contemporary. It has an open kitchen which is always good to see and offers pizzas alongside the Indian menu. We visited with a party of 4 - all had different dishes and all were beautifully presented, excellent quality and value, although my sister and I found our curries a little on the oily side. We shared rices and a huge ‘family’ naan bread which was really substantial. We ordered from the main menu although there was a paper copy of some ‘deals’ - personally I found then confusing and I don’t think they are needed in that format. A better way is to offer a happy hour or a specials night from the main menu, but to be honest, even the main menu is excellent value. What was annoying, and this is no fault of the restaurant, was a couple nearby with a very badly behaved toddler who they allowed to climb over seats, run around, scream, cry and generally act like the place was a playground for over 90 minutes. We could not believe that the parents/carers or whatever they were would allow such terrible behaviour. Had he being my child, he would have been taken outside and not allowed back in until he could behave appropriately. The staff were friendly and welcoming and I hope they are no subjected to badly behaved toddlers and parents/carers who cannot be bothered to enforce some discipline very often. Definitely worth a visit.

First time visit and will definitely return. Food was plentiful, competitively priced, and absolutely delicious. All of our party enjoyed every course and all said they were stuffed! Service was attentive and with a smile!

Best Punjabi food I have ever had! The most authentic, best tasting food I have had anywhere in the UK. The service was second to none, food arrived promptly and the staff were very friendly. Cheapest and best tasting restaurant anywhere in the north. The decor was on a different level, first time I’ve seen a Versace designed bar! Will definitely be back, good luck on this new venture.

Went there on last night with the family just the look off the place i could tell the food is going to be amazing and it 100% was just what i expected and the dessert fresh made waffle was out of this world this is what sunderland needed everthing all combined currys,grill,pizza,burgers,desserts brill place to go with family 100% recommend this place to any 1 will be back next week again ;)

The design and atmosphere of the place is flawless and extremely clean. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. The food was delicious and well priced and there is a range of different types of food for everyone.

It's about time there was something great happening in the East End of Sunderland. House of Punjab have risen to the challenge thank goodnes. The place is beautifully refurbished lots of cozy places to sit. Open kitchen with Tandoor oven and charcoal grill . The Menu is extensively Indian cuisine but also caters for more European tastes with pizzas and burgers. Great staff and the food was delicious. My lamb dansak was lush. Will be back 😊😊

Visited here today. Food is really nice the place was very clean and the staff really friendly. Well worth a visit.
