The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Greek food

I booked a table for 15 people 3 weeks before the date for a Christmas get-together, and went there in person to speak with the staff and see the place: it looked cheap and sad, but I went on a early afternoon so I thought they were still setting up. When the day arrived I even called again to ensure everything was ok with our booking, since we were a large group. When we arrived at 8pm on a Saturday, the place was still sad, our table was not ready and other people were sitting there in the middle of their dinners, so we had to wait outside in the cold despite we were on time. Then we had to wait for them to move the tables around and decide how they were going to set us up. When we finally ordered, we discovered that they “ran out” of several things on the menu, despite the place was practically empty, and they knew very well we were coming. We asked for water and they didn’t bring a bottle or a jug, just a bit of water in tiny glasses. We went to the toilet and it was dirty, unkept, with long-term dust and dirt all around as if it hadn’t been cleaned in months. They took ages to serve the food, which was poor quality and very disappointing for a grill house: the hamburgers are small, the meat is dry, and stay away from the chicken soup because it is hospital-grade food. They didn’t bring cutlery to everyone so some people had to eat their hamburger with bare hands, and those lucky enough to receive cutlery had it thrown on the table without even a napkin. The place was CHILLING COLD, halfway through the meal we all had our coats back on. We complained but they answered there was nothing they could do because the heating was “already at max”. I was so embarrassed and mortified for having brought my guests to such a dive, I apologised over and over again. I don’t know how they got the good reviews they have, this place is awful and it’s not worth the money, avoid at all costs.

The best Greek food in whole Coventry . The food was tasty and there was plenty of it. There was a musician playing Greek songs! Love the atmosphere! and will be back very soon!

Never been before ..glad I finally made the effort.. food was amazing. Service great.. not rushed.. we hada really good evening .will definitely return

The staff were really rude from start, made us feel very uncomfortable and I welcomed. Will not be coming back and would not recommend.

My absolute favourite restaurant, great vibes, great energy, great staff, Simon and Andrea are amazing people, so friendly and welcoming, the whole night is always fun from start to finish, the food selection is amazing, I've visited this restaurant on many occasions and recommend it to everyone, I always look forward to my next visit :) BEST NIGHTS AS ALWAYS

Don't be put off by rhe decor which is a bit old fashioned. The food and service is fantastic

We have been several times now for the lunchtime £10 fixed price menu which includes a starter and a main. Food is fabulous, good selection and excellent value for money. The service is good, food hot and we always receive a friendly welcome from Des.

The chip shop chips are the best, crispy and taste. Cant beat the souvla, two different cut versions offered for the lamb. Chicken souvla is lovely. Service is quick and often friendly. Available for delivery but prices are higher. Unfortunately they dont offer a dine in service but food makes up for it.

Terrible service, and experience. We visited as a hen and waitresses and waiters were miserable, they were clearly very busy and we had to ask several times for our drinks. I ordered the meze which was bland, and to also add they gave us like 15 chips between the 4 of us who ordered the meze. Ate very minimal as half the stuff in the meze i wasn't keen on such as the fish/shellfish stuff. Presentation also very dated. at the end of the night as everyone was paying for their meze the "so called manager" was extremely rude about payment to which i refused to deal with them and asked for a manager to which he said he was. Shocked that someone could speak so rudely to someone like this especially a customer. I was left very angry, and embarrassed and told him he was very rude and my friend told him off and said you spoke to her disgusting to which he said he was joking. I'm defo someone who can take a joke however went to far. I will and refuse to go to this place ever again. bad experience, boring food, would rather pay more and go somewhere worth the food.

We were served by Sophie who was very good and we had an ejoyable meal however we chose the chefs menu for £45 a head, my business associate was allergic to shellfish and we asked if we could change the prawns to a lamb dish and were refused! I ended up having to add an additional lamb dish - no real reason as to why this decision was made.

We spent 2 comfortable nights here. The owners kindly let us park up early on the day we arrived and late on the day we left. This enabled us to maximise our time in the Royal Naval Dockyard, which is a couple of steps away. The location is excellent for that and the Gunwharf, very close and full of standard restaurants and many nice shops. The view from our room was fabulous. It was very clean, good bed and lovely shower. Very nice, generous cooked breakfast in the morning. It is a bit noisy from the road but we expected that as the hotel is opposite the Harbour station. We slept with the window open but if you are v noise sensitive you would need it shut. We enjoyed watching the station bustle, where trains buses and boats link up!

Awful. Me and my daughter 24 hours after are suffering from vomitrkng and cramps in belly. That’s the only thing we ate the same of. Avoid.

I paid £23 for box.meat clearly grilled and put in bain marie.came with a rasher of bacon?bifteki was just a burger.done better eating the box..inch of feta,and olives may have been dug.i know what I'm talking about.never seen more disreprentation.some people know..disgrace

My wife went here was really good 👍🏻 atmosphere great and really nice food 👌🏻 would recommend as had a really good time
