The best restaurants serving German food in England

The food and service is very good. Both the flat bread Kebab and fish and chips were lovely. The young lady with the glasses is a tremendous host. I even heard other customers congratulating other staff on the service for a large Christmas party group. Well done!

Came fast but I sensed spicy 🌶️ in my OG kebab and I know that I’ve removed it! Also chicken had some weird taste like it wasn’t cooked properly and enough.. Shame ..

I’m not quite sure what had happened but it seemed like there had been a meltdown at the place so possibly this is a one off? Waiter was very lovely and trying his best but something had clearly gone wrong. We waited 20 minutes for our food and drink order to be taken. Another 30 minutes waiting for the drink to arrive, it never did so we went to the bar to ask for them. Another 45 minutes after that the food still hadn’t arrived, no food had come out of the kitchen for any table in the past hour at this point. The table next to us had their food come out having arrived 45 minutes after us. We asked if our order was coming and they said they had lost the ticket. (Bear in mind when we ordered we were the only ones in the place) At this point we had a tour booked on the evening we needed to get too. So after 1 hour and a half spent sat down, we decided to leave, we asked if the pint and Pepsi could be on the house for the time we had wasted and never getting any food, however, this request was denied. Really disappointed by what had seemed a good place to visit based on reputation.

Food never arrived. apparently was delivered . ring doorbell says otherwise. will never order from here again as the whole process of trying to contact someone is impossible and no way of ringing the restaurant or JustEat. find out in 48 hrs...ridicu

This place is dirty the food is passable been to lots of german doner kebab places before but this place is the worse.The staff have no customer service at all theres no wonder it was empty

Food arrived but it was stone cold. And barely any filling in the kebab. Driver delivered my food in an iceland bag, no proper attempt to keep it carm.

never get my order. it is 20.45 and on app it is marked as delivered on 21.15 won't be ordering by just eat anymore :/

This was a great casual and homely restaurant experience, which is all too rare these days. The food and beers were all as hoped for, with friendly service. We will return...

We went to celebrate a special occasion having been to Meze grill years ago. The food was very poor and my lamb shank at 20 pounds was similar to that which I might buy at lidl in a plastic bag. Ironically the olives were similar to their bargain basement olives too. The staff were friendly and kind but didn't have a handle on Greek cuisine. I gather it changed hands and one can tell.

Great service and good for family , very good restaurant and very good cleaning. Toilet is cleaning all the time , I like gdk east ham
