The best restaurants serving Fusion food in South East

I’ve been coming to Fifi’s for years, and since they transitioned to a pizzeria, I’m happy to say the quality of the food has remained exceptional. Their pizzas are absolutely lovely, with a thick Neapolitan-style base and fresh, great-tasting ingredients. They also offer a fantastic lunchtime deal that’s excellent value and even includes a glass of wine. For those who need it, their gluten-free pizza bases are delicious too! The staff are always friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome every time. They even bring colouring activities for the kids, which is such a thoughtful touch. Highly recommend Fifi’s for great food and a family-friendly atmosphere!

No matter where you seem to find them, test kitchen food always hits the spot. Must have tried almost every item on the menu by now and never been disappointed. Amazing veggie/vegan options too

Vegan is hard to come by. They had a fab choice and very well presented food - attention to detail was lovely. Really friendly team.

Quite a lovely spot. You’re paying too in the area but one of the few that’s worth it tbh. Owner is dead on. Beers are on point. And atmosphere is on par with some of the best.

Usually a lovely place for small plates however Christmas menu was so disappointing and not worth the money at all. Went with friends over the weekend, mains were average - poorly presented. Sticky toffee was terrible as powdery; we were told this is due to it being the gluten free option which I think is a poor excuse. Service was okay, some of the staff appeared very young and inexperienced however the cocktails were fab as ever. Left feeling a little sad as we went out for good food which we didn't get on this occasion, will stick to small plates if there is a next time.

The BEST asian food around! Love going here with friends and family. The menu is really reasonable and a great choice. Katsu curry is always brilliant. Glad this place is open again!

Very disappointed that the owner has not placed any wheelchair access here. The host told us the owner has not gotten around to that yet.

We were welcomed by very smiley and friendly waitress/bartender. The decor of the pub was very nice including some period features such as a fireplace. We sat down towards the back of the pub in a nice booth. The menu has a slight Indian influence but also includes classic British dishes. Food was very nice and our son loved it as well. Onto the odd part... When using baby changing facility it was necessary to go into the "hotel" area. After changing our son we were quickly told to leave and go back to the pub. This seemed quite odd considering pub and hotel shared the same building. After some investigation we found out that this hotel is under government control accommodating asylum seekers. Perhaps some information could have been provided when entering this area.

Food is simple and nothing fancy but still very tasty and great value. Was also fresh and delivered pipping hot.

Away for a weekend celebrating a birthday and chose here for a surprise dinner treat. The food was superb and above and beyond our expectations, and the service excellent. There is a lovely vegetarian selection along with more traditional dishes. This is high end yet affordable cuisine at its best. We will definitely go again the next time we're in Canterbury.

Chicken was clearly cooked from frozen, I knew as soon as I saw it, and it was so chewy. A bit flavourless too with not enough noodles or vegetables. My boyfriend had the Tonkotsu Ramen and they changed a bunch of the vegetables without telling us, and his broth had no flavour. 😢 The waiter wasn’t fluent in English, and didn’t understand what I meant by ‘No fresh chilli on TOP of the ramen’ and it was a sort of confusing back and forth, I just gave up and said I’ll have it normal because it seemed like he was going to bring me a broth with no chilli in it as well. It was so hard to explain. 😭 Honestly one of the worst Wagamama’s I’ve been to. Save yourself and go to the one at MK1 or in the centre. The food there is so much tastier, and I’ve eaten a LOT of chilli chicken ramens lol. Wagas is so expensive as well, so going out is a treat and it’s so disappointing when the food sucks.

Considering everyone was there at a wake celebrating the life of a loved one, the Queens couldn’t have done more to make it perfect.

The food is very nice ! We have the pag Thai which is a large portion and their bbq ribs are the best. Very tasty meat falls off the bone and lots of tasty sauce too. Never had a bad meal but we always pick ours up so don’t know about their service. Nice food would recommend

I have been going to Jai Ho for many years with my family and have never had a bad experience or anything to question. A wide ranging menu and the food is always amazing. Outstanding service from the staff there. I am always so well looked after. I had a beer in the bar while waiting for my food and the staff were so warm, friendly and talkative with me plus to the other guests as they arrived as well. Highly recommended restaurant if you are in the area.
