The best restaurants serving French food in South Oxfordshire South East

French wine bar. Dog friendly. Nice coffee. Something a bit different. We had the tarte flambee gratinee and the courgette one. And the cheese board.

Produits frais; accueil agréable, cuisine gouteuse. Un grand MERCI L'enchau fait maison excellent. Un dessert plus que sympathique.

An amazing memory. This establishment is nothing better than 5*. The experience is made by the quality of the staff, nothing is too much trouble, but they made you feel it all came so naturally and was there just waiting for you. The grounds on the 24hrs stayed we’re just lovely, such a natural garden, not tidy rows and everything like soldiers…..more like your own garden,with netting to try and keep the cabbage whites off, and others where the butterflies got in, A real gardeners garden, it was a delight. The food was good, and so was the theatre of the dining room service. Even down to an Italian member of staff having a chat about tomatoes while we had coffee in one of the sitting rooms. We exchanged information about different varieties it was like chatting to one of my sons.

We turned up today on a wet and windy day. They bent over backwards to serve us. Then when we asked for the best taxi service locally they informed us just how difficult it would be. Within seconds they offered us a ride back to our campsite. Can’t recommend enough

It doesn't get any better than this. What a great place for that very special meal. I cannot fault it in any way. Wonderful views from the dining room, great service and the best food.

Exceptional! Both my partner and I had escalope of venison with creamed cabbage and triple-cooked chips. Cooked to perfection. Accompanied by a very good Bordeaux. Service was also very good. Slight downside? A bit of a pub 'feel' but that doesn't stop me awarding Oliviers five stars. We've been a few times before - always very good and we'll be back!

My recommendation is to steer clear of this auction site. Despite winning my lot on 9th October and paying promptly the next day, after all the weeks of waiting I never received it.fully aware that postal charges were to be invoiced separately , I waited for the invoice.subsequent telephone calls were fobbed off with excuses.’The lady dealing with postage was out of the office’. I got my banking fraud recovery involved and only then did the mystery lady called basically blaming me for the delay! After promising to post free of charges as a goodwill gesture, two weeks later still no goods. Despicable.

I love to come here to work and treat myself to something delicious to eat, but it is also my favourite place to meet friends as my dog is always made so welcome and I love sitting near the blazing fire in this cold weather.

Nous avions réservé et nous nous sommes retrouvé dans un salle très petite et sans fenêtre. Tout est dit! Plats corrects sans plus. Service moyen. Globalement decu

We only called in for a drink and to check the menu for a future visit. The staff were very helpful and the service was good. It's a dog friendly pub and during our visit there were some very friendly dogs.

Great spot to eat, excellent food and fabulous friendly service !
