The most perfect afternoon, from the moment we entered to leaving a full four-and-a-half hours later. Veuve Clicquot vintage as the house champagne tells you all you need to know about the price point, but if you are fortunate enough to be able to do it, I would absolutely recommend you do. Easily the most immaculate dining experience I’ve ever had; The dishes are spectacular, the wines equally so. We did the 6-course tasting menu, plus the cheese to make it 7. The staff were professional, but also welcoming and friendly. The decor and grounds are also perfect. Believe the hype.

We recently visited Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons and as expected it was a truly superb experience in terms of a wonderful setting, food and service. Fast forward to more recent days when I required some post-visit advice on how to prepare a meal as part of a family gathering at home. I can advise that the Management Team and in particular the Culinary Operations Manager were extremely generous in offering their guidance on how my meal could be prepared and how to bring those extra special touches to take my cooking to new levels. I am extremely grateful to Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons for this assistance and look to return soon!!!

We were here for a night for an anniversary and were treated so well with a beautiful suite and champagne in the room. Thank you. Fantastic stay - wonderful dinner and breakfast and stroll in the garden. We were lucky to meet Ruth who introduced us to the birds of prey - fascinating. A great dinner served by our entertaining waiter Alastair and a charming sommelier whose name escapes me. Mr Blanc did the rounds at breakfast which was a nice touch.

What can you say about this legendary place? It is, in short, absolutely worth the hype and the expense. The food is absolutely staggering in terms of presentation, quality and flavour, and the house and restaurant are a genuinely beautiful setting - a little walk around the garden with a pre dinner cocktail is a must. Service is faultless without being too stuffy, which is a tricky balance to strike, and there is general sense that the staff would do anything for you. An incredibly special place.

Our children wanted to celebrate our golden wedding anniversary with a wonderful surprise. We were advised to close our eyes on the way and we could not believe where we had been brought for lunch. It was a dream come true. We walked around the wonderful gardens admiring the plants that would later appear on our plates. The food, service and atmosphere were exemplary. What a wonderful present from our kids. How lucky are we!!

We have dined here before but booking a table over recent months etc has been a nightmare. However, this time we managed to get in and took the day off work to drive here from the Midlands. There is a car park near the entrance but if this is full, you have to park on the grass at the back, which can leave those with expensive shoes feeling a little tetchy. However, after parking your car you walk along to reception where you are booked in and staff take your coats. You are then taken to a reception area and offered aperitifs through an iPad where you are also given menus to saunter through. I can't think which menu we opted for but we had the three course lunch with additional drinks We sat with our drinks then staff came to take our order. Were were later taken to our table to await the food. The food came over very timely and beautifully cooked. The place was a little empty when we arrived but because dining is staged the placed later filled up. As always the food was exquisite and the staff were very helpful. Different breads were served while we waited for food and when our glasses were empty there were always staff on hand to fill them up. We are both not drinkers so we did not take anything from the wine list, which is extensive and can be quite expensive because he has a large cellar with wines from around the world at costs for every pocket. Our lunches consisted of fresh salmon and duck and other delicious flavours and were served not in a rush but probably within about 15/20 minutes of the last course being taken away. When my wife had scallop for starters, it was brought to the table fresh and prepared in front of us. There was a supplement for this but who cared. Dining here is not for the rushed and everything is freshly prepared and cooked. When I had a souffle for dessert, which was wonderful, staff needed twenty minutes to cook it fresh. As always, every thing was magnificent. Staff were helpful and friendly, the dining room is at the back of the house in a large conservatory and light and airy and nothing was rushed. The bill at the end was just over £500 which included vat at 20% and a gratuity at 12.5%. You can refuse to give this, but when food is served at this level by staff who really care about service and presentation, money is nothing. Some people might gripe at a bottle of Coke for nearly £6 but this is exceptional cuisine served in a beautiful venue by staff who really care about the food and the customer they serve. We've been to other expensive restaurants in the UK from London to the Isle of Skye but there is nothing to beat this for a good day out. The best tip I can offer is take your cheque book, enjoy yourself and make the most of it. You will be handsomely rewarded and most of all "really looked after". We were. As Arnie says in the Teminator "I'll be back"

My partner & I were very privileged to be invited to Le Manoir by Robert Gatward Jewellers Windsor on behalf of Rolex Watches. We immediately knew this would be something very special, we arrived and saw this beautiful old building that shouts eloquence and style. A few personal photos taken and a member of the team from the hotel asked would we like pictures taken together. Champagne and canapés served in the garden area and each member of staff was at hand should you require any service! On to lunch!! This is an experience everyone should try if possible, my wife was particularly smitten that she met Benoit( Bake off professionals) . It’s difficult to describe the food singularly because each course danced a different tune on your tongue! Each wine chosen to compliment each course, 1st Cru Burgundy was just Devine with wonderful dark cherry notes and smooth finish. Chateau Margaux 2017 to finish off with the Lamb dish …. OMG stunning. The last time I had a wine of this status was back in 1999. Chablis and Sancerre for the entree and fish course. The Sommelier was a young Canadian girl and the service she gave was amazing and so personal, she understood our needs and we never had to ask . ( best of luck with your career goals and wine exams). Nothing was too much for any of the staff and the knowledge was incredible. This is 2star Michelin service and class and it shows. The best Chefs, Servers, Food & Wine, I was truly honoured and blessed( I’m not religious) to be here @ Le Manoir Aux Quait Saisons. Thank you❤️

EMPERORS NEW CLOTHES When you book a surprise 50th anniversary celebration, you try and make it very special Raymond Blanc is your favourite celebrity chef, so you book the place you have wanted to visit for a very long time Le Manoir. So you spend the equivalent of what is for us, our annual 2 week holiday budget and book one night. You have made your wife so happy and excited. You are not let down when you arrive, the grounds are beautiful walking along the lavender lined pathway towards the amazing building to reception, is an experience in itself, wonderful but there ended the dream. Our family had made several phone calls to make sure my disability could be addressed and were assured that we would have a ‘suite’ with a bed settee in the lounge that would be made up at night, so my Parkinson’s symptoms don’t disturb my wife. We were shown to a room with a settee at the end of the bed which could be made up and told, ‘it’s a junior suite’ ok it was a nice room but totally not adequate for us and definitely not what we had booked and paid for. Then began the negotiations which took several visits back and forth from a very nice lady from reception as the hotel was fully booked, except for a room in a tower up a spiral staircase. So we were now in two separate rooms in two separate buildings, telling each other it didn’t matter and agreeing we were ok with it, so as to not spoil the experience. Le Manoir had after all tried to fix things and we still had dinner to look forward to. We choose the Tasting menu of 7 courses, first you get ‘chef’s complimentary aperitif of Raymond’s famous tomato essence, a teaspoon of vaguely tomato tasting liquid over a few micro herbs and a few shavings of tomato. Next followed 3 tiny delightful hors d’oeuvres these turned out to be the best part of what followed. More of the ‘famous’ essence in a tomato shape made of some tasteless plastic like substance you smash with your teaspoon, very exciting! The £25 supplement charge for scallops was hilarious, one undercooked scallop cooked under puff pastry (which you don’t get to eat, they take it away) this was so underwhelming in flavour, followed by a lobster, nice but totally unremarkable. Then the main dish of Hoggitt (old lamb) which was totally tasteless and tough, inedible, served with yet again a spoonful of some tomato ratatouille chop so fine I thought it was a salsa. So when the dish was uneaten by us it was noticed by the server. This prompted a visit to our table of a man in a suit saying the had tried it in the kitchen and yes it was bad but every other cut that evening was perfect? and would we like something else. Then the meal staggered on to a 15 minute wait for the final course which culminated in a chef going to the table opposite us and apologising for the wait as the kitchen had overlooked their order the very confused couple excepted another dessert as an apology. We were still trying to convince each other it was ok but once we reached the privicy of the room we both admitted what disaster the meal was. Ok if you have read this far you might begin to get the feeling of our sadness and disappointment but it still had the power to disappoint when at breakfast, I could not resist commenting on the pathetic size of the haddock order, “oh I ordered haddock not goldfish”. I think, not amused was the reaction of the server. I must say the staff are very good and I happily paid the gratuity added to our bill. Standing in reception waiting to pay our extortionate bill I listened to people say words like amazing, wonderful and thought of the fairytale The Emperor’s new clothes where all the people won’t say they can’t see the Emperor in the nude so they don’t look stupid. There is a saying, never meet your hero’s, good job I never actually met him or I would have probably told him he needs REAL NEW CLOTHES.

We have waited rather a long time to be able to visit this restaurant as a family of 3, for various " work" reasons/ covid etc. and finally made it 20 th June. We had heard from a friend who has been a couple of times that the gardens were not to be missed so were really pleased that it was a glorious day, given the recent wet weather. Slightly confusing entry? , wasnt sure if it was the first or second entrance, but opted for the first . Booked into the restaurant but again, slightly confusing , as we werent actually sitting down at the booked time. Emphasis on " aperitifs" before lunch/ whilst perusing the menus. Anyway, we settled on our menus (Lunch Tasting Menu) after explanation from the staff, whilst seated outdoors on the terrace. We decided that we wanted to eat sooner rather than later so were shown to our lovely table. Very beautiful setting in the Orangery. Lots of staff carrying out their allocated tasks. Wine presented and opened . Assorted bread rolls very moreish!! Tasting lunch menu was superb. Presentation of dishes like works of art! and explanations of dishes given ( waiting staff- maybe speak slightly slower and clearer so that everyone can understand the menu contents?) Part way through our meal, we had a slight issue. This was dealt with discreetly, and professionally by the MaitreD. And in no way did it detract from our enjoyment of the remainder of our meal. ( Thankyou for your very kind gesture). The day was an experience not to be forgotten but hopefully to be repeated at some point in future.

Visited Le Manoir for lunch today with my wife. We had not visited since August 2021 and realised what we had been missing. Just a fabulous set meal of 7 courses, including coffee/tea with petit fours The craftsmanship and creativity involved in putting the different courses together was exceptional and we had a succession of plates of wonderfully tasting food. The staff provided great service which must be acknowledged. This is a well-deserved Michelin 2 star restaurant and there is no doubt that we were given a show stopping lunch. As always, we ended the lunch with a walk around the splendid gardens and very well managed and extensive vegetable growing area with accompanying art works. Well worth a visit in their own right. Raymond Blanc your cuisine is exceptional, but I am afraid to say the establishment has let you down! We arrived twenty minutes early for our reservation and were offered an aperitif, but no one came to take our order. We then asked to go straight to our table where we finally ordered and received our first drink. I kid you not, we waited over an hour for our first course and two and just shy of a half hour for our third course dessert! 900 pounds later this is just not good enough! Staff weren’t rude, but they were disengaged and vacant! Lots of staff, but a lack of attention! We’ve been before and will be back again. Absolutely one of the best places in the world to eat. Wonderful ambiance, amazing gardens and super staff. And importantly not a smallest hint of any superciliousness that can come with ‘posh’ places. The food is amazing. That is not an understatement, every dish is a masterpiece and tastes delicious. Contemporary but not too ‘trying too hard’. Just fab. If you have the opportunity, go for it.One comment to make is that the staff are great but everybody wearing masks does make it feel a little less personal. A suggestion would either be for staff to have name tags or, ideally, just introduce themselves especially key members like your waiter or sommelier.

We were lucky enough to have our long delayed booking rescheduled to yesterday; the first day that restaurants were able to serve indoors again - hallelujah! So did the food still have that wonderful touch? Would the service be as good? In a word - YES!!They offered only the seven course tasting menu. From the first course of the tomato consommé, through to the deserts, everything was wonderful. What was especially nice was as we studied the menu and contemplated having a pre-dinner drink we were offered a complementary glass of Veuve Clicquot champagne. Nice. However, what was the highlight of the night was when I had a hand placed on my shoulder and turned to find Raymond Blanc smiling down at me. Wow. He stayed about 10 minutes. Chatting about La Manoir, food in general, his garden & lots more. He then went on to each table in turn making sure that every client was happy. Classy. Lovely man. He also asked his head gardener to take us on a tour of the garden the following morning. A beautiful way to begin to get back to normal.

I booked on 13th February 2020 for May 24th May 2020 – the one night Dining Experience – to celebrate our 40th Wedding Anniversary Price quoted was £1085 including the 7 course Tasting Menu and Breakfast etc and a £200 deposit was paid. A high enough price but it was a special occasion and we had eaten in the restaurant several times but had never stayed overnight. Not surprised that it was cancelled!!! I was given the choice of a complete cancellation and return of deposit or leaving my deposit in place and waiting for the hotel to reopen. I chose the latter- even requesting a reservation for May 24th 2021.I was told they would contact me as soon as availability reopened. Despite Le Manoir apparently being open in November and December – I heard nothing. In February 2021 I decided to contact them - with another request for 24th MayI received the following reply ….“”” We would love you to stay later in the year and can confirm that all guests can move their stay to a later date (subject to hotel availability). Currently for 24th May, I do have rooms available on The Dining Experience at £1,435.00Please note we apologise in advance that we may not be able to offer the same rate that is currently booked, as we are now moving into our high season. Alternatively, if you would like to cancel, please be assured that all cancellation fees will be waived, and any prepaid amount returned in full.”””Whilst the 32% increase was steep enough – it was the lie about the change of season that really annoyed me – an outrageous and unacceptable falsehood, trying to cover up the rip off price increase. Subsequent Email exchanges confirmed that May 2020 was in the same season as May 2021.There is no doubt that the Belmond management do not have the same caring attitude to customers as the old Raymond Blanc inspired Le Manoir which we knew so well. Needless to say I requested a return of my deposit and will eventually celebrate at The Waterside and The Fat Duck and still have money left over for some really nice wine.

We had a one night package including the seven course tasting menu. This is my review of the restaurant rather than the hotel. (Obviously we got lucky with booking a table between lockdown and tier four) The staff were charming throughout, pitched just right, with no arrogance and just friendly enough without being over-familiar - a true measure of professionalism and training. This included a swap-out of a course from the fixed menu I was not keen on, with no fuss. As expected the food was divine, could not fault it. A well though out, balanced menu, as you would expect from somewhere with this track record. I guess this is one of these places you do not want to go to on a budget, but we did hammer the wine list, including dessert wine and port. All brilliant. The sommelier was excellent, and it was reassuring that every recommendation he made was at a cheaper price point than the bottle I had selected myself. A lovely experience all round. Would thoroughly recommend.

This is my third time there and I hadn't been there for years. I booked a package of one night which included a suite with the tasting menu for dinner (and breakfast) for around £1,500, I have to say, although the food did not disappoint, I felt the stay and dinner was supremely overpriced. My 'suite' was one room and not very large. Calculating the service charge on the meal, my room for one night including breakfast for 2, came to £900. There was nothing special about the room. I also felt the food was overpriced at £300 a head. I have been to most of the top restaurants in the UK and I would not make a trip to go there and eat again. The Cliveden far exceeds this place. At least there, you have proximity to country walks, a beautiful historic building, a spa and far more beautiful and spacious rooms. In fact the food at the Cliveden is as good or better. I feel, if dinner and the room had been around £700-800, it would have been the right price. There is nothing to do there and it is not a place that warrants that price. I will not be going back.

We’d wanted to go to Le Manoir for a long time; I periodically check the website but tables are never available. I was therefore delighted a couple of weeks ago to see one open up for the following Friday so we went for it. It seemed like the perfect way to celebrate the end of 2020. But would Le Manoir live up to the reputation? Can anywhere live up to that level of reputation?Yes it could. A truly brilliant meal. We’ve eaten in a fair few Michelin one star restaurants, where the food it terribly pretty and tastes lovely but sometimes you feel it’s been prepared to be looked at rather than eaten, and that the customer not still being hungry at the end is not one of the priorities. This however, is proper food in terms of both an extraordinary quality of ingredients amazingly prepared, but there’s also a robustness and variety of flavours and textures that you don’t always get in starred restaurants. You certainly don’t crave a burger on the way home! Highlights are too many to list, but the slow cooked hens egg with Parmesan and black truffle, the Rhug estate venison with chestnut and gingerbread, and the chocolate crumble with salted caramel ice cream and yuzu will stay with us in particular for a long time. The service was utterly immaculate, friendly but professional, the staff had clearly been brilliantly trained but without having their smiles or personalities drilled out of them. Covid related issues were dealt with efficiently and unobtrusively without spoiling the experience at all. Yes it is awesomely expensive, but the absolute commitment to excellence in every part of the operation is such the pricing doesn’t feel unreasonable. If we want places like Le Manoir to exist in the restaurant ecosystem then they need to be supported, and to be able to keep innovating and developing new ideas then these prices are probably what they need to charge. As an experience don’t compare it to lunch at a gastropub, compare it to good seats for a West End show and dinner, or a weekend break on the Eurostar (if those are ever allowed again) and the pricing makes much more sense. Thats the intensity of experience and memory making that LeManoir represents, and we feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity.

it is difficult to fault the service at Le Manoir. However it is extremely expensive so one could argue you shouldn't have to! The hotel I have to say is over priced. It is luxurious but tired rooms. This is a shame and somewhat overshaddows the good value for money quisine. We are very spoilt living in London but this is beyond doubt good cooking with seasonal ingredients. If I had just gone to eat I would say it is value for money but staying is very over priced.I will be back for lunch/dinner but not to stay unless prices are drastically reduced. .Procedimos a esperar nuestra comida.

Having been lucky enough to have experienced Le Manoir during its magical Raymond Blanc heyday it was devastating to see how far it has fallen – except in its ridiculous pricing. From the vase of dead daffs and the gas fire in the lobby (it used to be crackling logs...) to the now unloved grounds and some really poor food, the heart and soul has truly left the building. The meal was a disgrace. The only set meal option (no proper tasting menu exists any more) had to be ordered for the whole table, so as my three companions fancied it, I had it too. The menu was incredibly poorly planned, with pork products on three out of six dishes. Not that they were all proper dishes – the teaspoon of grains in a ramekin that constituted the first course I initially mistook for an amuse bouche (which didn't exist any more either). Two dishes were good – the suckling pig and the chocolate dessert. The rest, which included a 'hen's egg on a spinach puree', were dated and lacklustre at best. For £145 a head it was shocking value. And that is before drinks... we were charged around £70 for aperitifs (only one was alcoholic) and £40 for coffee after the meal. Our bill for four (including three teetotallers) was well over £800 for a really bad meal. I'd waited 15 years to go back to Le Manoir, and I really wish I had not bothered. Poor Raymond, I hope he rarely visits. He created something truly unique and wonderful, and his legacy has already been squandered in Belmond's greedy rush to cash in.

My wife attended a garden tour here and was very, very impressed. So we booked to celebrate our anniversary. Gardens and house are beautiful. The food was wonderful. Wine excellent. I would single out for an especial mention the staff. Service here was of a standard I have rarely encountered outside of the best hotels in Asia. Wonderful without being over fussy or pompous. Thank you for giving us such a memorable time. If I had one small criticism it would be that given the average size of bill that must be paid by staying guests charging for tea or coffee at all - let alone £10 a go seems a touch unnecessary.

I feel robbed. Please don't go thereV) It cost WAY TOO MUCH.We had1) A drink before dinner.Only one was alcoholic-a bellini made with bottled peach juice2) The set lunch, with two small glasses of wine, and say 3-4 bottles of mineral water3) Coffee, tea and some petit fours afterwards. How much do you think?£100 each?£120?

My partner and I went to Le Manoir for lunch a few weeks ago. This had been on our To Do list for a long time and we decided to experience it. The property is beautifully decorated and on arrival we were shown to a lounge for pre meal drinks accompanied by a lovely plate of canapés. We chose the tasting menu and the food lived up to the reputation of Le Manoir. The wine flight was delicious too. Service was impeccable and we were so lucky that day to actually meet Raymond Blanc who spoke to everyone dining there. Lunch was rounded off with a plate of delicious petit fours. All in all this lunch was memorable although the final bill was eye watering it would definitely not put us off returning to this wonderful place. Thank you Le Manoir we thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience here.

Shown into the lounge for drinks and complimentary aperitif . From here on we felt that we were on a production line... mass produced food that was good but that just didn’t have the wow factor that we had expected. This was a treat for my 50th birthday and has been on my bucket list forever! It didn't disappoint. The service was fantastic from the minute we entered the restaurant. Aperatif's in the lounge while we perused the menu were relaxed, with attentive but non intrusive staff, the little plate of hors d'oeuvre were delightful. We went for the 7 course tasting menu as it was our first visit, along with the classic wine paring as we felt this would give us all a full taste of what Raymond, Gary and their team had to offer us. As we usually don't drink very much we were all a little 'merry' after the 3rd glass of wine and the bonus with the Compte cheese course - I had to drink mine as apparently it was Raymonds favourite to eat with the cheese and I didn't want to feel a philistine. The waitress who predominately served us in the dining room was very freindly and attentive and not at all stuffy. (I'm sorry we didn't get her name but she was from Malta) she really made us feel at ease and deserves a special mention. The food was out of this world being like works of art rather than plates of food (and yes we also took pictures) we all agreed that we would love to return. I was also a little star struck as we unexpectedly met Raymond whilst perusing the statues in the garden and he made an effort to speak to us and took some lovely photographs with our family, what a charming man. I think I am a little in love with the restaurant, the food, the garden and especially Mr Raymond Blanc.

This has been on my bucket list for years but the prices to stay are off the planet. However, as I have just had a significant Birthday, my hubby surprised me with a booking for Dinner, bed and breakfast. We arrived to find that our room had been upgraded to a suite and we stayed in the Dovecote which was just fabulous, The bathroom is downstairs with a good waterfall shower over the bath. Twin sinks and magnifying mirrors, plenty of towels and the wooden floor surrounding the bath has underfloor heating. The bedroom was upstairs. For Dinner we had the 7 course Tasting Menu with the wine flyte, all of which was just out of this world. Yes, I did take photos too! The staff were all super friendly and service was as you would expect and not hurried in any way. We were then invited to meet Gary Jones, Executive chef, and have a tour of the kitchen which was a total surprise. As I am a real foodie we jumped at the opportunity. It was a thrill to meet Gary and he gave us a copy of Raymond Blanc's latest book, The Orchard. Raymond was not in the kitchen that night but we did see him the next morning at breakfast, although not to speak to. Everything is home made and much comes from the vegetable gardens in the grounds of the hotel. Before we left, we took a walk around the gardens which are equally stunning with many bronze statues, including one of Raymond's maman. All in all I felt truly spoilt and will never forget this experience. Hopefully, we will return one day.

I had been looking forward to Le Manoir for months, since booking sometime in September, and was overall hugely disappointed. The price came to near £600, which is a huge amount of money for a meal where we weren't drinking a huge amount, so you expect the food to be exceptional. Of the seven courses, I would say two reached that bar, three were average and two were not good at all.

Service efficient but not really friendly, room nice but small details grate such as cheap slippers that do not fit, no fridge for cool water, room service slow. Restaurant the real disappointment, no course was served beyond almost lukewarm, underseasoned and poorly introduced, and not very imaginative. Feels old fashioned and not catering to true food lovers.AND there is a (high)price on everything. Breakfast equally underwhelming. We had been looking forward to this for a year, but have eaten much better, with better service and half the price in several of the one star Michelins around the UK and France.

I give this 2 stars because, at almost £600 for two we were looking to be delighted, excited and for value for money. Sadly, some of the food was actually bad and lacked flavour. It had us reaching for the salt and pepper which I've never had to do at a fancy restaurant. The rest of the food was largely forgettable. Some nice textures but with invariably underwhelming flavours. Not at all the gastronomic experience we were so longing for (having booked several months ago and been counting down the days!) Certainly style over substance and we would have honestly preferred to stay at home with a well cooked takeaway.

Having been a few times over the last five years, my response to the occassion has gone from "amazing" to over priced "ordinary". Admittedly the staff and fantastic, friendly and efficient, on the floor. However, it is clear that, over the evening, timing of delivery of the tasting menu is more geared to efficiency in the kitchen, rather than maintaining a consistent delivery of the product. Having been one of the first two couples in, we were one of seven or eight couples to get course six, with the other couples arriving during the hour after we did. Consequently, our meal lasted almost three hours. Others, around two.

If you are looking for a restaurant just to have a meal then this may not be your best choice. However, if you enjoy food, and have an open mind, then Le Manoir is simply exceptional. Although of course there is very little that is `simple' about the place. It is important to deal with the `elephant in the room' straight away. We had the tasting menu and the least expensive of the wine lists on offer; the total for 4 of us the thick end of £1000. Now I wouldn't contemplate going out for a meal for £250 a head; but plenty of people spend that sort of money on an `experience' in an area which interests them, such as a concert or a sporting event. If you take the plunge you will benefit from a depth of skill, experience and knowledge second to none. From gardeners striving to grow the finest produce, to chefs refining their dishes again and again until they are deemed good enough, to customer facing staff who are that difficult balance of friendly whilst not intrusive, and of course all are superbly knowledgeable.

We stayed in Emily and ate from the 7 course taster menu. The price isn’t for the faint hearted but it was a lovely one-off experience. The welcome from the staff was very good, although the front of house staff are somewhat formal rather than cloyingly warm - and that’s not a criticism. Our room overlooked the front courtyard and was very well appointed although perhaps a bit chintzy for some. Chris, who took us to our room, was very sweet and helpful. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom compact but well designed.

I recently attended an auction at the Swan at Tetsworth via telephone link, having never had any experience of auctions previously. The help and advice I received from Paul and Spencer were invaluable, and I am absolutely delighted with the items that I successfully bid for. I would also mention Jaya who was extremely helpful with arranging delivery of said items. I would definitely recommend the Swan at Tetsworth.

We turned up today on a wet and windy day. They bent over backwards to serve us. Then when we asked for the best taxi service locally they informed us just how difficult it would be. Within seconds they offered us a ride back to our campsite. Can’t recommend enough

Food was very poor, steaks were overcooked and cassoulet beans were undercooked
