The best restaurants serving French food in Kensington and Chelsea London

All things considered (including the price), this is, pound for pound, one of the best restaurants in London and it is nothing less than a tragedy that it is shortly going to close. I feel very bad (particularly now) that I have not previously left a review. We have been there many times (including with groups who had never visited before) and the feedback has been ubiquitously (and rightly) glowing. The food is sensational (and significantly better than in a lot of "fancier" places that would charge at least twice as much) and Jonathan is an extraordinarily welcoming and charming host who enhances everyone's experience. They were very unlucky with COVID and historically this location has been difficult for restaurants. The restaurant has often not seemed as busy as it ought to be (given how good it is) and I can completely understand their decision. But Chelsea is about to lose an absolute jewel.

El personal era muy bueno, hablador y conocedor del menú. La cocina en sí es perfecta con excelentes panes para comenzar. También disfrutamos de una variedad de bocadillos que eran imaginativos y sabrosos. I have to admit, I don’t usually spend time to write reviews. But this deserves it. I attended one of the pop up events in this beautifully decorated venue in Central London. I was looking forward to it after receiving recommendations from a few of my foodie friends who love fine dining and michelin starred restaurants. I also saw a mention of Technique as one of the hottest tables this summer in the Sunday Times. The food, the service, the chef’s amazing personality made this an experience to remember. There was something that felt exclusive, yet inclusive about it. Also, I have to mention the lovely conversations with fellow guests, from writers from the BBC, to city Lawyers, what a fabulous mix! Can’t wait to come back, and thanks for the experience! “The key is commensality” as Chef Louis Ashok put it.

Phenomenal - This firmly sits at the top of my restaurant experiences. Amazing settings and ambience, the staff were so grounded and so knowledgable although I think they may have had eyes in the back of their head as nothing went unnoticed - some of the best service I have received. The food was indescribable - you just need to try it for yourself. I loved how personal everything was and everything had a story, from the plates to the gnarled vines the last delights were served on. Thank you Clare and team, we will be back!

El hotel que posee este restaurante ha cerrado y esperanzas para ofrecer una nueva franquicia en el futuro. Tendrá que ver este espacio para averiguar quién toma posesión del nuevo sitio. Es una pena, porque el que sabía o era muy buena, pero ahora debe descansar en paz.

Reservamos una mesa para la noche del 27 de septiembre 24 y el restaurante estaba lleno de clientes. Entradas compuestas de pulpo carpaccio salpicado por un aderezo zumquat zingy. La pechuga de pato con miel y lavanda. Mi voluntad de probar algunos sabores nuevos dio sus frutos, ya que las notas florales fueron suaves. Mi postre era un fondant de leche e higo. Fue durante el transcurso de la comida que el personal de servicio dijo que era el último servicio de Bandol, y que estaba cerrando esa noche. Queremos desear al personal de Bandol lo mejor en sus esfuerzos futuros. Gracias por hacer su último servicio con panache. Deseando que revoir con notas de lavanda.

We were very lucky to be part of the Chapel Down Shareholders private dinner last evening held at Caractere. Both the wine and the food were awesome. I have to say that the cuisine was expertly prepared and the overall ambiance of the location, as well as the excellent service provided by the staff, was wonderful. A truly great pleasure to attend there.

Had an amazing Bottomless Brunch at Jolie Chelsea. Received excellent service from Cat, delicious drinks from Joshua, what might be one of the best burgers I’ve had from the chef and the DJ was spinning some tunes. Mrs and Ii had a wonderful time, we’ll defo be coming back ☺️

Also das Restaurant ist sehr edel eingerichtet und das Menü wird Gang für Gang sehr schön präsentiert aber aus was das Menü besteht ist mir persönlich etwas zu experimentiert worden.Geschmacklich interessant aber manchmal zu viel des Guten.

This restaurant has a great interior and the atmosphere is good, however the food was just normal, nothing great I am sorry I was expecting more for the beauty of the place.

Hermosa comida auténtica. Los entrantes eran geniales - fantástico hummus casero y envolturas de hojas de vid. Los platos de cuscús y pollo eran igualmente buenos. El servicio era genial - amable y eficiente.

Gran personal, café bueno y lo mejor es que el café extra caliente es en realidad caliente! Menú pequeño pero funciona bien y la comida es de alta calidad y bien preparada. Siempre fresco y hecho a pedido,

Definitivamente para evitar. Personal super grosero y no comprensivo, ambiente frustrante y poco acogedor. No recomiendo.

Très bonne pâtisserie située sur la petite place piétonne d'Exhibition place. Le personnel est très souriant et prêt à vous conseiller car le plus difficile est de choisir !!!
