All things considered (including the price), this is, pound for pound, one of the best restaurants in London and it is nothing less than a tragedy that it is shortly going to close. I feel very bad (particularly now) that I have not previously left a review. We have been there many times (including with groups who had never visited before) and the feedback has been ubiquitously (and rightly) glowing. The food is sensational (and significantly better than in a lot of "fancier" places that would charge at least twice as much) and Jonathan is an extraordinarily welcoming and charming host who enhances everyone's experience. They were very unlucky with COVID and historically this location has been difficult for restaurants. The restaurant has often not seemed as busy as it ought to be (given how good it is) and I can completely understand their decision. But Chelsea is about to lose an absolute jewel.

Bestro was a great experience. The owner and the head chef clearly love food, and they somehow manage to make it both unique and tasty, and have a restaurant atmosphere that feels both haute cuisine and also a friendly family-run restaurant. Previously I have often been disappointed with "Michelin style" restaurants where the chef seems to strive for food that looks special rather than food that tastes special, but here while every dish was interesting, the decisions made were all to maximise the flavour. Nothing was overwhelming, every plate was scraped clean, and we left fully sated. Octopus, foie gras, snails, lamb, duck: all fresh, and perfectly balanced flavours. The price, considering the location on the King's Road, and considering the quality of the food and service, is very reasonable. They clearly have a lot of regulars, and we have already made plans to go again.

Located in the heart of Chelsea on the prestigious Kings Road, this gorgeous French bistro is fantastic. Both owners are French, one of them being the Head Chef! The decor is wonderful, the cocktail and wine list are both fabulous and the cuisine is the best standard and quality! This is a foodies paradise and must-go-to. If you also love Foie Gras you are in for a real treat as the Foie Gras slider is off the charts! It is top notch, Jonathan, the other owner will ensure you will have the very best dining experience. 10/10, a little piece of France in London.

We had lunch here on Saturday with a close friend who lives nearby. Lovely welcome from owner , amazing food , wines and service. Would like to return in the evening. We travel extensively ( well we did before Covid😘) this was one of the best restaurants we have eaten in London recently. You simply must try.

Changed our minds when we saw that the menu didn’t really have a lot of variety. Owner hurled abuses at us when we made our exit. I’d have understood if he told us that he was disappointed that we changed our minds. But he said, “Shame on you. Shame on you,” to our faces within the hearing of other guests. Honestly, the other guests will forget us. But we and they won’t forget what he did to us. Won’t be coming back. Will warn as many friends and colleagues as we can about this restaurant and its owner.

A lovely little restaurant in the heart of Chelsea with attentive service by the owner who obviously has a lot of regular clients.

Enjoyed a fantastic meal here. Such a friendly atmosphere and attention to service with advice over meals and side orders. The quality of food was as good as I have enjoyed anywhere. I had the duck and my wife had the lamb. From start to finish every course was a real experience. I would not hesitate to recommend or return on a future visit. A really excellent bistro restaurant, mainly French dishes but with other modern influences. We had excellent service from Johnathon throughout. All the dishes were very good but we really enjoyed the sourdough bread served with roasted garlic. The duck was also cooked to perfection. The octopus starter was also excellent, so much so that we ordered a second one!

I’ve just had a dinner at Be-stro and I must say it was one of the best meals I’ve had for a long time. Jonathan was such an amazing host, he takes time to talk to you and make sure your glasses are never empty. We felt so welcome and comfortable that we stayed from the opening till closing! Food was just out of this world, carefully and beautifully excused, perfectly seasoned and absolutely delicious! I highly recommend this wonderful establishment. Thank you Jonathan and his team for making us so happy!

Wow! What a place! If you are in the area, you would be silly not to visit this incredible restaurant! The food is seriously delicious and the service is out of this world! We can't wait to come back and eat more of this yummy food. It is also very well priced for the quality! Thank you for an all round beautiful dining experience!

We had an amazing dining experience at Bestro. We opted for the bottomless brunch and it was fabulous. Jonathan was a fantastic host. Sharing ingredients in the wonderful dishes. The pickled onion was a taste sensation. We were taken back by the wonderful combination of tarragon with the onion. The sea bass ceviche was out of this world. It was definitely in the top 2 meals we have ever had. We would 100% recommending Bestro if you appreciate something different and you want a meal to remember.

We went to Bestro last night and we had the best time ever the food was delicious at a reasonable price. I personally had: Pan-fried foie gras for starter, Duck magret for Main and Creme brulee. Soo yummy, We thoroughly enjoyed it. We will be back so to try other dishes for sure. Ideal place for date night, family/ friends casually dine. I'd highly recommend visiting Bestro if you happen to be in the area.

Amazing little French restaurant. The food is great and the staff is very friendly, pleasant and attentive. Always a great experience and the manager goes out of his way to be of assistance. Lovely little place.

Charming restaurant in Chelsea run by the owners. Very warmly welcomed with excellent service at attention. Its French cuisine with a modern twist. The food was beautifully presented and thoroughly enjoyed what we ordered extremely tasty. We ordered the octopus and cured duck for starters and for mains the lamb and also guinea fowl. Unfortunately no room for dessert. The restaurant floor is not big but from what I could see it had a lower and upper floor but it was not open when we dined. However, looks like they can accommodate a few covers. Perfect for a date night and special occasion or even a casual dine. Overall its a bit on pricier side but considering the location and quality of food that's expected. I noticed they had set lunch and brunch offers so it can be very reasonable.

My sister and I visited on Friday night and had an absolutely wonderful time. Jonathan, the owner and our waiter for the night, was so attentive & made the experience even better! The food was exceptional, and we look forward to trying out more of the menu on our future visits. Thank you Be-stro!
