Comida encantadora y excelentes sabores - muy recomendable. Buena elección de platos para todos los gustos. Excelentes precios por la calidad de los alimentos frescos.

Fui con amigos para el menú de temprano. La decoración era agradable y el personal amable y acogedor. Los platos principales fueron muy decepcionantes. Mis amigos patatas fritas estaba demasiado cocinado y quemado. Incluso su segundo intento fue igual de malo. No me molestaría en ir de nuevo. Un montón de mejores restaurantes en la zona aquí.

Compré helados aquí. Tenemos 2 hijos que son celíacos. Las opciones sin gluten aquí eran excelentes. No solo tenían conos de GF, sino que la persona que servía abrió nuevas tarrinas de helado para los niños para garantizar que no hubiera contaminación cruzada.

I absolutely love Captain Thornton's, it's our monthly treat meal. The fish and chips are properly cooked the old fashioned way by people who care and know what they are doing. The addition of halloumi cheese is also welcome! We drive past a number of fish and chip shops to get here, and for us, Captain Thornton's is the best there is.

What a lovely local bakers! Sandwiches are sooo tasty! Highly recommended. Can be a little busy at times but for good reason. Staff are all very polite and helpful.

First time trying tonight after leaflet posted through letter box ordered pizza which was lovely and fresh also kebab was nice and fresh I’m impressed I will be trying your curry’s next time would highly recommend.

Would give 0* but can't, ordered online through Just eat and while eating found an item that's not supposed to be there....so won't be buying again from there....

Came back here again for another quesadilla and it didn’t disappoint. Staff are friendly, food is top quality and the portions generous. At just a fiver for this quesadilla it’s a bargain. Try to get over here as often as I can. Highly recommended.

Ordered a vegetarian hot pizza 🍕🌶️🫒🧄🍅 with a side of garlic sauce from here on a recent stay in York, the pizza was delicious so tasty and freshly made, the best pizza I have tasted in a long time, the place was very clean and the customer service was excellent, would definitely recommend and will be visiting here again on my next stay, excellent value for money 😁

The most unappetising doner kebab I have ever eaten. Donna meat chucked on top of a warm pitta, no salad and sauce in a pot. Presentation obviously not a priority!
