Mundane burgers at London prices.

Arrived at dope burger on witham and was left around 10 minutes at the till waiting to order (it wasn’t busy) i ordered two burgers and a portion of loaded fries. I was left waiting for 50 minutes on a boiling hot day with flys all over the place to then be told my order wouldn’t be ready for another 15 minutes with no discount or anything offered. Lazy mongey staff. Wont bother again

Nice food, not like it was and rather pricey, I have got a blue light card that gets a 10% discount on the bill, when I looked at the receipt it turns out I got a 10% discount on one portion of fries, a great big 22 pence off! Nice one

I visited last Friday and I had to go back inside as some toppings was missing from our burgers! I Can’t fault your staff at all this was sorted straight away and our order was made Fresh! I didn’t catch the name of the girl who rectified this for me but I remember she had lovely ginger curly hair and was kind enough to give us a free brownie and blondie for the mishap!! anyway just wanted to give her and dope burger some praise! 🫶🏼

Best I've had .prices are well worth it.highly recommend.staff are great.canned drinks very pricey though that's all that spoiled it for me £2.50 for a can of pop.going back as the food is outstanding.

UPDATE : Really ? Pictures from APP vs Reality :). Not sure why is dark, but is not spicy either… And no topics at all, but, if you don’t have what I asked, put something else … I tried for the 1st time, looking good in pictures, but the patty is only 20% from the picture, I expected to be at least 50%, half of the thickness. They read the notes if you want something removed but not replaced with something you want, for eg more sauce. At these prices, I expected to be more quality and to put what you asked for, not less.

Drove an hour for a dope burger! Did not disappoint! Burger was unreal! Service wasn’t as amazing as the food but definitely forgiven as the food was OUTSTANDING!

Well worth travelling for if you're not lucky enough to be in delivery range. I love the vegetarian range and plenty for vegans too. Love the use of spices and the way you can custom your choices too.

It's ok. First time trying this place after hearing all the hype from my friends. Not sure what the hype is all about. An award from BBC 2 isn't exactly a Michelin Star. Pale ale was actually very good and so was the branding, burger and fries completely underwhelming

The staff are just as awesome as the food. Happy and friendly service made our visit a memorable and delightful occasion.

Avoid toilets unless you want to catch Ebola. Vile and actually unbelievable how disgusting they are. Really let the place down and I would question the kitchen hygiene after seeing this. The toilet lid itself was crawling and the sink there is no point in using as you will probably add more bacteria than take it away. However, I'm not going to knock the food as I am honest in reviews. The burger was really tasty and filling, you can understand why they have a good name. The jerk fries were warned to be spicy and sadly they were soggy and I have had spicier toast! The blue cheese slaw was good but it felt like a little overpriced for what it was. Overall. If you want a good burger but don't want Ebola or an infection I would get a takeaway!

Genuinely the best burger I have ever eaten. I went for the Hickory Dope Burger, Jerk Fries, Baconaisse and an IPA, with change from £20. So pleased I made the trip here whilst I was in town, highly recommended. Staff were super friendly too.

Great burgers ! We went here after my bodybuilding competition and asked for a biggest burger cheesy fries with Stilton sauce and it was absolutely banging ! We enjoyed a meal so much ! Next time defo doing biggest challenge in there ! Would be easy to beat !

Saw it on the telly, didn't realise it was a re-run from 22. It was absolutely freezing inside, thank god we got a Booth otherwise we would have been sat next to the bog! Tastie burger, not like promotional photos, needed a good clean to be honest. Called at the Beverly Road site drove on as not that impressed, to the Witham site food was tasty not worthy of the price.

Not the first time I've had a Dope burger, but the first time having one delivered. The food, which was excellent, arrived very quickly, well wrapped, hot and very tasty.

Asked for pizza with sliced tomato. Got a blunt we don t do sliced tomato. Ok. Paid & waited for order. Then asked do you have English notes, we don't accept Scottish notes. Ok changed the note & waited. When my order arrived, i asked if she could put some mayonnaise on the chips. (I could see huge jars of mayonnaise on their stock shelves.). We don, have mayonnaise. Doubtless to say, i won,t be back.

Went in here for a quick bite to eat after work. The burger was unreal , and 100% go here time and time again if i was in the area.

Burgers are amazing, think the whole 50%off is more realistic, I usually get the black and blue cheese burger doubled up, should be £13, which obviously with the 50percent off and the service charge it’s £7. Which is more like it! Hope it sticks around, came last night and it was spot on as usual, ordered a half price milk shake and didn’t click on till I got home I was charged full price £5.50, I got butterscotch, it was nice wasn’t the best milkshake or anything just thought it was alright, nothing special

This place seems to have turned around since my last visit. I called in and got a Hickory smoked burger with fries, it was amazing! The staff were very polite and the premises was clean. The downside was the parking wasn’t great and there needs to be some work done to the floor above the premises as it’s windows are broken which allows pigeons to fly in!A star off for the windows ! But 4 stars are for the food, worth a visit!

The food is really good and I would definitely recommend this place if you fancy a burger. It does seem a bit pricey for takeaway food though.

We used to love dope burger but haven't had it in a while as it's got so expensive but our regular place was closed and dope had a decent deal on so thought would give it another go. Unfortunately it took 1hr 20 mins, even with £4 delivery, the chips were soggy and cold, the burgers were cold and the slaw was just that cheap stuff. Really disappointed, we won't bother again :(

Never heard of this place before. My daughter is a coeliac and this is her special place to get a burger in a bun without gluten. I must say the burger I had was excellent and the loaded fries also.

Never fail to have a tasty burger from here. Great unique choice on the menus from burgers to sauces. Without doubt a place for a great takeaway especially with the gluten free option.

We were really looking forward to our first Dope burger. Seen it on the TV and heard rave reviews. We are a family of five but even so were very shocked at it costing just shy of £90 for 4 burgers, some fried chicken and chips and 5 cans of fizz! But we thought it would be the best burgers ever so maybe worth it? Sadly they are just average, nothing special at all. Yes, well cooked and tasty, staff were friendly and efficient BUT this was not what a £90 takeaway should taste like. Definitely do not understand what all the hype is about and we will be sticking to our local takeaway from now on which does burger just as good for half the price. Don't get me wrong, this place gives a good takeaway BUT it's far far far too expensive.

Shocking service at Witham Dope 9pm Wed 15th March. Young kid serving; soon as you walk in shouts "what can I get ya", then continues to lack further manners with "not a thank you". Would never step foot in there again. Worst of all, patties no thicker than McDonald's now. Very Poor. Dope-Smoked👎

Chicken burgers are way smaller than they used to be. Used to be huge, now they’re just a small chicken breast. Nowhere near worth the amount they charge. Ordered without a bun, usually they fill the tray with salad but this is what I got… Partner’s burger was class though so no complaints there

Place was ok..very busy and it took a while for someone to come to the counter. While I was there a guy made a mistake on the self serve checkout and staff were very unhelpful. Poor bloke had spent £42. I got the black and blue burger and after telling everyone in Grimsby it's the best burger I ever had..this time it wasn't that great..sorry guys I won't rush back

Popped this evening as we were passing by. Not been for a while. Pulled pork and cheese x2 and a fries to share. Not cheap but sadly not worth it either. Burgers barely cooked . Fries hard and not nice. Sorry guys won't bother again. My local takeaway is alot better food wise price wise and taste wise. 20 quid plus won't bother again.

It's got well out of our price range nearly £30 for 2 burger and chips and the burger is not a patch on what it was the Amsterdams completely changed, massively overpriced and had to sit outside and eat it in the car as the restaurant was freezing and the car was warmer . Dope burgers got to big and greedy , such a shame

I want sure, it looked too young and hip for me, I have to say I was put off by the name mire that anything else, but I'm glad I did. These were the tastiest burgers I've ever had. You pay for the quality but they have a Radio 2 best takeaway 2022 award and I can see why. It was a bonus that they had an extensive gluten free menu. I will be back!

Well i don't like like the way staff talk to you when you ring and have a complaint there don't do nothing for yeah and half way through a conversation get RED BOTTON and number blocked I am not happy there don't ask you when you order how you want the steak for Amsterdam burger I find it so rude people need to know

Burger was raw and they missed multiple items off our order. We used to love dope burger but over the last year, portions have got smaller, prices have increased and the food has become really poor. Tipped over the edge after our last order as my burger was pink. £40 not well spent.

Serving raw meat in burgers on a continuous rate… avoid at all costs not worth your money and not worth your life if I could post pictures I would but sadly Google doesn’t allow it, please people if you don’t want food poisoning or to get seriously ill please avoid this place at all costs.

Food didn't come, so cannot comment. Waited over 3 hours for delivery, called the Witham branch, they said they passed our order onto the beverley Road branch (who were literally uncontactable). Order ended up saying delivered? Called, asked for a refund of our 37 quid! Still waiting for our refund.. Great stuff. If you want a lottery of whether you will even get your food or not order here.

Daughter ordered and paid over £50 for family treat - it's now been 5 hours and NO FOOD DELIVERED. Called after 2 hours to be told food would be 15 minutes. Clearly a lie. Dopeburger have now stopped answering phone, won't respond to messages, delete comments and block on Facebook - THEY WILL NOT REFUND!!! SCAM company who are clearly happy to rip-off customers.

Food took an hour and a half to arrive. It was cold. We got half a portion of chips each. The drink was missing. I rang the shop, and rather than offer an apology or a way to make up for it or even to bring the drink I’d already paid for, they said the driver would bring the money back and take the food away. When I asked what they were going to do with the food they said they would put it in the bin ‘because it was cold’. Girl on the phone clearly didn’t give a sh*t. Train your staff or get new staff that know how to actually talk to people. I first started going to dope burger when it opened and have been going ever since, however it gets worse every time. I won’t be having one ever again. Utter disgrace. The customer service has been pretty bad before but at least the food was alright. Even the food is sh*t now. Nearly 30 quid for 2 cold burgers and few cold damp fries. Cya

I had ordered, multiple items, all with no pickles all the orders came with pickles in them. I had specifically said no dope sauce in one or the orders to again find there was dope sauce in the burger. This wasn’t so much an issue as we scraped most of the sauce out, but when I called up to make a comment on this I was essentially called a liar and told with a poor attitude that I had to take the burger back to them instead of sending a photo or something more reasonable as I live 20 minutes from town. Food is okay but for the money you pay uou expect reasonable service. Poor service. Will not be visiting again.

Food was great but they took money out my account twice ,a week on and still not received refund so called the shop to be told it still hasn’t been put through so she will send to owner now and will take another week .

Paid £40 for 3 burgers and 3 portions of chips. Daughter wanted some ketchup for her chips and got charged another £1 I mean with a £40 meal I expect a couple of pouches of ketchup thrown in. Burgers where nice though. Chips where chips nowt special Chicken burger was nothing special, half got left.

I have eaten here before and enjoyed it, although the price puts us off going regular. Decided spur of the moment to take advantage of a 2 for 1 offer on smoked dopes. We arrived on time for picking it up and it was ready when the website said it would be. We settled down to eat 5 minutes after picking it up so I am unsure how my burger bun was solidly stuck to the wrapper at the bottom and was hard where it had. When trying to unstick it, the bun split apart where it was really soggy. This obviously wasn't a good start. On eating, it tasted OK, but something had a strange smell. I realised it was the wrapper, it smelt fusty. I was using it to stop the juices spilling. I asked a family member to smell the wrapper and he agreed with me. This has put me off going again and I'm certainly glad I didn't pay full price.

Awful service and overpriced. The food’s mediocre.

We went as a family of four to dine in. There were only two spaces available to sit down to dine in, and thankfully they were free. However I imagine this is mainly used as a take away destination. The self service machines was confusing and didn't end up working and the customer service was equally confusing. However once we got our food, we were all really pleased - very tasty! The rainbow burger rolls were a win with the kids.

Food is ok but you won't get mutch for price. Self service ordering devices-dont even be bother to use them.staf-got no clue what is happening arround,and was not realy interested in helping with menu as we was first time there,my mrs did clean table before we sit for a meal,was filfy. Toilet no paper and cries for some air freshener and towels.

Don’t let the storefront or the name put you off. I was initially reluctant but so glad I followed my friend’s advice and gave it a go. The burgers here are amazing - hands down the best burgers I’ve ever had. The kitchen is generous with its ingredients and the mix of flavours elevates the burger experience to a new level. My favourite is the Amsterdam burger, but I’ve tried many and they’ve all been excellent.

Excellent variety of gluten free burgers, sides and desserts! The Hickory Burger and cheesy sweet potato fries were amazing and perfectly seasoned. Really good chocolate shake as well! Highly recommended - I'll definitely be back.

Best burgers in Hull by far. Absolutely delicious. Not cheap, but if you want cheap rubbish stick to McDonald's. Steak burgers are cooked precisely still oozing juice... My mouth is literally watering writing this! Chips used to be nicer, but I don't mind... Just get an extra patty on your burger instead. Tip of the century - even if you're skint and absolutely full to bursting. Try the brownie. Or the blondie. Or better yet try both. Thank me later 😋

Fancied a burger and as I had passed and seen the award for 2022 all over the windows thought it was an ideal time to pay it a visit,wish I had not. Prices are very high but I thought well you get what you pay for but this was extortionate for the quality. Opted for the smoked dope burger and fries with bacon and cheese,the burger was undercooked and pink in the middle,lettuce was virtually non existent,burger was smaller than expected but the worst to come was a very long dark hair pulled from the middle after eating half of it. The fries were no better with very little cheese that had gone hard and looked like it had been plonked on top of the fries and left for a while as they were not even warm. Sorry Dope you have to maintain standards after winning awards,will definitely not be returning,had better from kebab shop at half the price.
