I believed this was on the same level as dope burger but was highly disappointed. The quality was no better than mcdonald’s and ignored the notes to add cheese to pizza chips (although paying extra). It was overly expensive and tasteless with bog standard shop bought ingredients including fatty bacon. Will not be reordering.

Order a takeaway from here via Uber Eats. Ordered 2 Gadgie Burgers a 1 large fries. The fries were ok. 1 of the Gadgie burgers was ordered without sauce. They both arrived covered in sauce. Tried to contact Gadgie Burget East to resolve issue…it went to answerphone….an hour later still no contact from them…I left contact details on answerphone. Uber eats said sorry I wasn’t happy so they will contact the restaurant to ensure it dosnt happen again! That dosnt feed me now does it? What is the point in asking for preferences if you are going to ignore them? Terrible ….actually none existent customer service from Gadgie burger East and very poor customer service from Uber eats. My husbands burger was apparently not that good.

Ordered food over two hours ago…. The phone number isn’t connected if you try ring them. Rip off crap. Used Uber eats and with more investigation the food is crap the shop has no phone number. And food never arrived. Don’t ever order from here you will be very very out of pocket.

Tried for the first time and was amazed. We ordered the Gadgie burgers meal deals, the burgers were huge and had so many different tastes inside due to the various fillings which went so well together. The prices were good and delivery was fast. Would highly recommend

I visit here on a regular basis, usually one to twice the week. The breakfast is by far the best one iv had in Hull and the surrounding areas over the past few years, hence why I’m here every Saturday morning. £5.50 for a large breakfast with free tea or coffee, how can you not want to try it? Highly recommend and it’s not a typical greasy spoon, the sausages are come from across the road at Jefcotts Butchers. Honestly get yourself down and you won’t regret it. Staff are great too! See you soon guys....

We regularly order from Gadgie. The food arrives pretty quick and is always tasty. The Gadgie burger is yummy. And the cheeseburger is good too. However, the winner for me is the huge tray of pizza fries. Topped with tomato sauce, cheese and pulled chicken (other toppings available) these are amazing! Sometimes I ditch the burger to finish the fries and it’s not often that happens! Great little place. Never had a bad meal

Came here with my relatives this morning , after hearing about the food been so great. Definitley wasnt disapointed. Ordered 4 breakfasts, all came out quick , was hot and seriously tasty. Aswell as getting tea or coffee , i definitley recommend and ill definitley be back. X

This place is a diamond in the rough. A little cafe with a few tsbles and bar area. A fab and I'll say quite extensive menu. They do a seperate special, on their board and fb page, menu. (Mixed grill for two last time) I was there. Been twice now. The burgers are huge juicy thick patties full of flavour. Mental option on dirty chips or normal fries. A selection of cakes various teas and a coffee machine doing all sorts. The food is fabulous, cooked to order, piping hot and tasty. My wife and daughter love it and we are going to work through the menu. Don't be put off by the road or how quiet it is. Quality is spot on. Staff very helpful too. Go there. Best burgers ever. Period.

Saturday early PM and need a burger etc to soak up the beer before starting again.... Food was freshly made, hot and plentiful, reasonable prices and a nice clean place to get some much needed beef! Always impressed with this place, quick service and friendly staff recommended 110%

i have yet to try the takeaways . but i will soon. the reason i am leaving a review . we happen to pass here . and had a breakfast , nothing wrong what so ever . in fact i have it in my mind now . that this is one for a breakfast in a morning.

Running late called in for a quick late lunch. Cheese and ham toasty was really nice and fresh and good strong coffee. The prices are so reasonable . Think just over £11 for two toasted sandwiches and two drinks. Will be back next time I’m in the area.

Called in with my son for a burger meal ,I know you will pay more than McDonald's but you get what you pay for now as you can look at my other reviews I'm not a moaner so we got a the basic burger and a mate at work recommended the pizza chips so knowing it will be filling we shared the pizza chips which when you buy it ,on the new menu not the picture I have put with this review says with 3 toppings it doesn't exactly explain that it's one topping then pay extra for 2 others ,so after being charged £20:75 I sat down and added up 2 burgers 2 Fanta and pizza chips it came to £18:45 ,now the burger was as nice as there rivals but being charged nearly over £7 for a sprinkling of 2 extra meats was a well over priced tray of chips so my advice is get a burger and fries then it's reasonably priced ,by the special chips and it becomes pricey for a burger joint on Holderness road

1st visit today (Popped in for some Sarnies to take away). Friendly, Helpful & Welcoming Staff Great Sarnies (Decent prices) Place was very clean I visit London a lot and this place reminds Me of the more Trendier Cafes/Burger Bars but Hull Prices

Just been here with my daughter. I had gadgie dog my daughter had gadgie burger and half pizza fries with pulled pork . You get big portions and it tastes amazing. Better then the other burger place around Holderness rd . I’m so impressed with gadgie burger east

My burger was a bit pink inside and the temperature was not piping hot thus meaning it was placed in the waste bin. The burger was also dripping with grease.
