GREGGS AT SIDWELL STREET. EXETER. Today at 1.20pm I, my wife and our special needs emotional support dog, went into order and eat. I Sat down as normal . Wife to order. SIGN IN DOOR ASSISTANCE DOGS OK as before ate. Counterstaff boy came over saying NO DOGS ALLOWED. I showed my certified support dog card as advised from the hospital And asked to see the manager. HE SAID I AM THE MANAGER. HE WAS COMPLETELY RUDE. MY wife went to the ordering dept for manager and was totally ignored and rude. The first contact supp.manager was hiding in the back room calling his manager. A TOTAL LIAR. We were shoed out of the premises. There behaviour was totally unacceptable and illegal.

I usually order food every week through deliveroo, that i think are the best, but this is the second time when i ordered extra chicken, and instead of receiving that extra chicken i received more beans and onions and only 3 small pieces of chicken that you can barely see.so sorry to leave this review ! Here it is the photo.

I used to be a regular customer and would always recommend this resteraunt. But in the recent months this place has drastically gone downhill... It seems that the workers have lost their passion for pleasing their customers. Most recently, I ordered over deliveroo, I paid £4.99 for some olives (expecting to get my monies worth) but I was given the tiniest portion of about 20 tiny shrivelled barely seasoned olives- this is about 25p an olive... Elsewhere I could buy a big tub of high quality olives for less than £2. They have just lost a highly valuable customer. I refuse to order from them again because I don't like being ripped off.

This branch now forces customers to use the self service kiosks. I don't want to use the kiosk because I want marinara sauce on my sub and the kiosk gives you no option to add that. I even explicitly asked if I could order at the checkout because of this, and he said no. So I started ordering at one of the kiosks, and because I took more than thirty seconds while trying to navigate the on-screen menus, it reset my order and made me start again. I pointed this out to the guy and he told me to use another kiosk. I asked why I can't just order from him and he just said "we don't do that here". It wasn't busy. There was no queue in front of me. Other branches let me order at the checkout, why has this one suddenly shifted to forcing everyone to use a kiosk and outright refusing to serve people who don't want to use it. They have the equipment and ability to take your order at the till, they just don't want to. He is the second member of staff to do this to me, so it must be store policy there. And they enforce it to a point of ridiculousness. Either fix your self service kiosks to allow people to customize subs the way they want, or let people order at the checkout.

The term fast food does not exist at this place. Been in a couple of times and waited over half an hour first time and 45 minutes second time. One young lad was actually working making burgers but no gloves etc and picking up burgers, chicken, veggie items/salad etc whilst the rest of the staff stand around chatting. Thought I would try ordering through Deliveroo (as we do like a BK).... so much worse ....hour and a half late even the Deliveroo rider complained at how long he had been in the restaurant waiting. Won't bother again in the future
