My partner and I visited Exeter for the day and had a nice lunch here. Couldn't fault the food, service was quick and friendly, and the whole place was spotlessly clean. We will be back here for a low cost lunch again when we next visit Exeter.

Although the food box deals seemed to be quite confusing to me, the staff were very helpful at explaining how it all worked. One of the staff members I was served by, called Praga I believe their name was, helped a great deal. Good food, good value. Love the salt and pepper potatoes though they could be slightly less salty but overall yum. Would highly recommend 15 spring rolls with the sweet chilli sauce if you like those things!

I haven't been into the restaurant but ordered a food delivery. It was absolutely delicious! Noodles, caramel chicken, sweet and sour chicken along with curry sauce. The box was full of noodles. I thought it was great value and I would definitely come back. Chopstix Exeter is recommended

Great customer service, the staff are very friendly and speedy. Would recommend to anyone, delicious food and usually a fairly quiet atmosphere with comfy seats. Guy on the phone happily sorted me out some free spring rolls I forgot to include with my app order. Didn't get his name but definitely a great staff member!

I went there twice with my partner, food looks ok but when l payid for large box with 2 topics, I got box full of noodles and 4 pieces of meet. I was laughing and l went to the till to show this to the member of staff and he said to me take one more topics. Hahah that was my last time l went there, never again. They think people are idiots and will pay money only for noodles. More meet next time because you loosing customers.

Absolutely awful… ordered an hour before closing, given the wrong order, when we phoned up a lady answered and was extremely rude and defensive… came up with many excuses that didn’t correlate with each other… refused to give her name and spoke in a mocking tone… lied and said she tried to call us to let us know but never did… quality is also dreadful as you can see… very dry and cold noodles and soggy chicken with no flavour at all..completely inedible, will be requesting a full refund and going in to store to complain directly to a manager. Do not eat here!

Had a delivery tonight 06.04.24, spent nearly £40 and half of the box's were empty (I could see the bottom of the box) hardly any chicken curry. Rang up and the girl that answered the phone had a attitude, told me to email a complaint for free food. I don't want free food I want the food I've paid for in the first place. Won't be going back

We went for eat in and they said Take away only at 21:00, I tried Chopstix in Slough and it’s nothing like that. Worst food i ever had. Rice was hard and chicken was dry.

The young lady was very nice, but when she was closing the box she pushed the food with her finger (without a glove). Unfortunately, this shocked me so much that I couldn't say anything. Please stop doing this, it's disgusting!

On the eve of Monday 26/02/2024 ordered the sweet & sour chicken with vegetable noodles which I caught food poisoning from later in the night which left me out of work for 2 days and out of pocket being self employed. On Wednesday 28/02/2024 I reported this to Deliveroo who were very prompt with their response and fully refunded me the money from the order. My details were then passed on to a representative of Chopstick Noodle Bar (Exeter) who did initially contact me to find out the further details and advised they would respond back within the hour to update on the full situation. It's now Sunday 03/03/2024 and I've still heard nothing from the representative of the restaurant, not even an apology! So not only is this a complaint about this restaurants bad food hygiene but also the total lack of customer service!

absolutely disgusting customer service. we walked in not knowing it was card only asked for order got to the till and found out it was so we said sorry we only have cash so we walked away and then as we were walking the worker out they’re middle finger up at us as if they were blaming us for not telling us it was card only. absolutely disgusting customer service

Went in here thinking it would be amazing, but was very disappointed. The noodles tasted horrible, but the sticky chicken was ok. Update, I emailed this complaint to the team in the reply from Chopstix, but was ignored.

We tried Chopstix for the first time on Monday lunchtime 12 February 2024. We eat had a small box and one topping. So a small box contains a portion of either noodles or rice and a topping in this case was a portion of sweet and sour chicken and also a salt and pepper chicken. Our food was filling, very tasty and served hot. The restaurant was very clean and tidy and the staff were friendly and helpful. We will definitely be using Chopstix again.

Food is delicious always. My top 3 restaurant to go to. Praga is very friendly and nice member of staff. 10/10 recommend this restaurant.

Went to the Exeter branch and the food was extremely tasty and fresh. Amazing service from a chap named Adi who couldn't be more helpful or welcoming. Very satisfying and filling lunch spot.

Hi placed my order. Got it delivered and my some of my food didn’t turn up then. I asked to go and pick up the food. And the general manager was very rude and mocking a disabled person when all he did was ask for his food that they had missed. Don’t waste your time going down there or ordering food.

Poor quality food and poor value for money. Falsely advertising food as ‘beef teriyaki’ when instead it was artificial lab grown meat. Quite happy to charge real beef prices for it though. Utterly revolting

Food options consisted of chicken or falsely labelled ‘teriyaki beef’ which was lab-grown artificial meat (at real beef prices though!) Utterly revolting 🤮 Store has gone cashless which is another reason to avoid it like the plague. The dining area was also dirty with benches and chairs in disarray. Very cheap furniture as well not conducive to a good dining experience. The only bright apot was the cheerful staff who warned me not to order the ‘beef’. So welcome to the digital future where you are overcharged in digital credits to eat poor quality artificial gelatinous goop in a shabby dirty venue. You vill liv in ze pod and eat ze bugz

You can tell its a chain noodle bar... to be honest a ready meal wouldn't taste any different. Staff friendly and store well decorated.

Dayna and Adi were absolutely fantastic! Came in for a late night snack after a long day at work and they were supper friendly and helpful. I couldn’t recommend them more. Great food, great staff.

Just had this delivered, was looking forward to it as it was my first time trying it out, as heard a lot of hype from friends about this place. I ordered the 8.99 meal when I opened the box only just to find small portions of food. Which I felt they where really stingy of the portion considering paying 8.99 for a meal. I ordered two pots of flavoured chicken again the pots where small and small portions with them and I paid £3+. The rice alone felt like they've got the rice from the microwave packs from supermarkets. Overall very disappointed in their food and definitely avoiding this place and will go to other Chinese food who are generous and not stingy with portions.

Really fab little place, staff are so lovely and everything is always so clean and tidy - clearly a lot of hard work goes in! Dee the manager is a star also. She is so kind and helpful, it's always great to chat to her.

Love the noodles and toppings. Tasty food and good value. The problem with this store is one person only filling meal boxes which is too slow and causes long queues followed by an unbearable wait while you queue again to pay ! You stand watching your meal going cold in the box while one other person prepares drinks and collects card payments.

Food was dry and tastless. Asked for soy sauce, was offeted some sticky sauces firv99p each. Wont be back. Tables dirty. Someone asked for their table to be cleaned. Staff didn't think to do more tables!

My wife and I were visiting Exeter for a week and stumbled upon Chopstix. The staff was very warm and welcoming, especially Dhanush. The food was also good. All in all we had a wonderful time.

I absolutely love this place! Chopstix has become my new go to when I want to get myself some food as a treat 😋 The noodles are amazing and there are so many toppings to choose from (but I always end up going for Caramel Chicken!) My daughter loves the rice, and there's even a lighter rice option for my diabetic husband 😊 The staff are super friendly, service is quick and the food is delicious - I don't know what more you can ask for! 🍜🍜🍜

Love the food. Had 20 mins to grab a takeaway and only 3 people ahead of me 15 mins later got served I asked for a large 3 topping but just 3 lots of salt and pepper chicken. I got 10 balls and had to ask for my free rolls. The first time I went I had a medium meal and had at least 8 balls of chicken Service is so slow

Took my daughter and 7 of her friends here on Sunday afternoon for a birthday lunch. Excellent service, staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was great. Great alternative to the usual MaccyDs, similar prices but food is so much better and the restaurant felt clean and tidy. We were given the upstairs eating area which was closed off at the time, so the girls could eat their food, run around and make as much noise as they wanted without disturbing anyone else. Counter staff were very patient with the kids making their food choices and the Managers, Roxy & Dayna, were very friendly and helpful when organising things in advance. Highly recommend Exeter Chopstix, thanks guys!

Woman called Roxy working there absolutely rude as anything. Spoke to myself and other customers awfully just because it was a lunch rush? If you can’t handle that kind of environment work somewhere else? Told one customer to ‘wake up a bit’ because they were hesitant in choosing a topping. Poor guy taking the payment looked exhausted I wouldn’t be surprised if she takes it out on him. Unfortunately I feel she is the manager or owner. Won’t be going back to the Exeter one again. Rude, shouted at the customers, and had a disgusting attitude towards them. Name and sharing Roxy she is a small lady, very rude! You’ll know her when you meet her. Avoid this chopstix at all costs, the food was fab but her attitude completely put me off!

I heard good reports about chopstix so we gave it a try 4 of us I had the 4 toppings box and the portion size of each was really small compared with the 2 toppings Sweet and sour chicken was stodgy caramel chicken wasn't much better Pictures on your website over exaggerate portion sizes and make them look appetising Chopstix will not be my go to and eat Very disappointed

Avoid at all costs me and my partner ordered £30 pounds worth of food from here thought we’d try it out , first of all my order was missing 2 sauces ,second of all the rice was hard and black , the chicken was disgusting and don’t even get me started on the portion sizes (terrible) thank you tho for wasting me 30 quid then not even answering the phone for me to get my refund !

Not a place to eat if you have allergies or are gluten free☹️

Overwhelmingly disappointing. First tried it at a services near Birmingham and loved it, saw one in Exeter and thought I'd try it and wish I hadn't. First of all, no cash payments only contactless. Secondly, the cashier didn't know what a gift card was that my friend had got me because I liked the one near Brum and finally the food, apart from the table being dirty the noodles were undercooked, along with the onion, while my friends BBQ chicken was burned. Overall first time in the Exeter branch that I was actually excited about visiting and the very last. Be better! Edit.. as requested by their reply, I did email them... twice... they never responded showing that their reply was simply to make it appear that the customer mattered, it clearly doesn't. As such, I've amended my 2 star review to a 1 star review. Where I might of visited their other branches I just won't bother now as clearly the customer means precisely nothing to them. Avoid at least the Exeter branch but if I were you I'd avoid the whole company!

The food was nice. Toppjngs coukd have been more generous but fair value. Service was so slow, though. Queuing out of the door. Only one staff member seemed to know what they were doing.
