Chopstix Noodle Bar in Exeter

Ordered through Justeat but it was the service that was horrendous so leaving my review here. Ordered salt and pepper potatoes - didn't receive Katsu chicken pieces with pot of sauce - received one lump of bits of chicken coveted in sauce Apple pie x2 with caramel sauce - no sauce. I rang the restaurant to ask what happened, laughter behind the phone, 'I didn't pack it' then 'we don't have any potatoes so we sent you chicken pieces instead' If you come into the restaurant tomorrow, we will give you a refund...is it not the point of ordering online so you don't need to go into a restaurant. I am vegetarian so how is giving chicken a replacement for potatoes. My friend didn't eat either chickens, very greasy she said. Won't be ordering again and hoping justeat give me my money back. Delivery and service charge obviously not refundable though.

First time trying the noodle bar and was quite surprised, great food at great prices and lovely staff. Will definitely pop in there again.

Rich made me feel at ease, was super friendly and very welcoming. His knowledge was 10/10. Would 100% come again.

Got noodles today and can't even eat them they're so rubbery . Almost like they reheated them from yesterday. Very disappointing.

As a great citizen of the UK, I like to try out new places for the first time and I tried the Chopstix in Exeter and was not disappointed. Some of the most fantastic food I’ve had and the server (who goes by the name of damion) was very nice and helpful when making and serving my food. The atmosphere was very nice and respectful too. 10/10 on every department give it a try

Just visited earlier today and food was really good but not as good as the service I received. Damion was brilliant showing me how the menu works and what food was best. He made me feel welcome and would come back again just for that reason

Today i was having a very bad day! However when i walked into chopstix i was greeted by Damion, who instantly turned my day around. Not only was his service perfect but the food was truly delicious i will definitely be returning

Wonderful! This store and it’s manager have given us a new ‘safe’ place to go for lunch with our son (SEN) Due to Praga’s smile and calmness we have a place to eat that isn’t a burger chain! The food is delicious with a good variety of options and to top it off it’s good value for money!

Decided to give it another chance after months. This time service was great,the tall gentleman serving was very polite.Honestly been before and that was a big problem,as service was very bad,most people uncaring about their jobs .Great change!

We had no idea what we were doing, but the staff were friendly and helpful with great service. Food was hot and tasty. Tables were spotless and constantly cleaned while we were there. Amazing.

Food was good! They did however charge me for a XL box when I had large which is annoying. Checked on my app after I’d left as it seemed more than usual and that’s why!

Always love the food here, proper good noodles and the toppings are great - highly recommend the caramel drizzle chicken. Came here today for my birthday and got a free small box, always nice! To top it off Praga was lovely and served us with a smile. Will definitely be back!

I visited chopstick recently and was very happy with the service i received from Jade. She was polite and very helpful when it came to choosing items. Service was also really quick.

Really good food and staff were lovely. I didn’t know how it worked and he talked me through everything :). I got a regular meal but couldn’t finish as it was so filling and good.

Open until 10 but they expect you to eat outside the restaurant from 9 cuz they close the sit in area . Such a shame

Been into chopstix recently and I was welcomed into the store by such a friendly and funny worker called Damion , making it a good atmosphere already ! There caramel drizzle is delicious too ! Good portion for good price !

I was on road to another bad day, but yet again chopstix lifted my spirits right up. A young lad called Damion welcomed me with open arms and invited me to indulge in their menu, I ate my meal with haste due to it’s delicious factors. For the price this is a solid option if you want ‘chinese’ food that is warm and quick! There’s lots of options however they usually run out by the evening time. Been a few times and would go back again!

The guy in the black shirt really thinks the chicken comes out of his own salary. 2 pieces of chicken is too much for him He needs re training on how to do proper portions unless this is a new company policy to skimp on the meets as I remember portions weren't too bad back then.

Food is amazing, it reminds me of the meals I have in my home in singapore. Praga is very helpful, cheerful and friendly.

I usually order food every week through deliveroo,that i think are the best,but this is the second time when i ordered extra chicken,and instead of receiving that extra chicken i received more beans and onions and only 3 small pieces of chicken that you can barely see.so sorry to leave this review ! Had delivery one of the first nights after we moved to Exeter. Egg fried rice was inedible, as were the rest of the dishes. Waste of food and money.

Came here for a quick bit of lunch this week and the overall experience was pretty poor. Whenever you order from Chopstix why do the staff make it seem like you've asked the most bizarre question? It was always quite rude to take a mobile phone call whilst I was being served. Also agree with others that almost everything was sold out! The food is way too expensive for the portion size even though it is very nice.

Didn’t order anything but got bought a seat cause I was standing. Immaculate vibes. Would buy something next time <3 Have since returned to order food and can say with confidence this place slaps

Popped here today for a bite to eat and I was not disappointed! Service was fast and friendly and the place was clean; the fact you can see the food being cooked right in front of you just goes to show how quickly everything must go because the food I got today was as fresh as can be! I got a regular box with 2 toppings, K-Pop BBQ chicken and sweet chilli prawns and the flavour was out of this world - the noodles had some vegetables and were delicious mixed with the sauce of the meat and prawns, the prawns especially good what with having a wonderful bite thanks to a slightly crispy coating and flavourful spices. Very good place, I'd like to come again and try other flavours. The variety of portion sizes here means you can get a small box to enjoy if you are not too hungry or have a small appetite but for me, a regular was a perfect lunch-sized portion on the go and all at a handsome sum of under £8! Highly recommended!

Never ordered from this restaurant before, had it delivered today and it was absolutely delicious, the noodles were cooked to perfection, the salt chips were delicious, had so much food i struggled to eat it all despite it being so tasty, thankyou for a nice meal.

Make sure you are restocking as you go. Everytime I go in they have run out of pretty much everything. It really isn't that hard to keep stocked up.

It was very clean and nice looking but I now have food poisoning from the salt and pepper cauliflower bites,spring rolls and egg fried rice, but there was no egg. will never ever eat from here again. Awful customer service it took like 4 minutes to get a to-go bag. never ever going back here if the world was ending and it was the only place with food because I'm not dying ill.

Banging food, super affordable, I come here a lot and it's consistently delicious.

I work just around the corner from chopstix and love to come in during my break. Having grown up in Asia I can be quite picky about certain Asian dishes but the flavours at chopstix are quality 👍🏼 I was served by Raajha who perfectly embodies the heart of hospitality. He was great to talk to and is amazing at his job! 10/10 would recommend 🙌🏼

Food taste nice and fresh, sitting area was very clean, however just want to note the lady that served me had an attitude, the portion sizes she gave for each topping was ridiculous her hands where shaking to give a little extra please train this women properly, however the other staff members always serve well and have a nice attitude.

First time coming to chopsticks, Raahja my server was helpful with explaining the food to me. (which he let me know he cooked himself)great service, great food.
