Mcdonald's Restaurants in Exeter

Ordered from Drive-thru. Ridiculous wait, around 20 minutes at least. Food was cold and only got 18 chicken nuggets instead of 20. No dips. Really poor.

This McDonald's is by far the best I've had for some time now,clean hot food staff happy to see you ,spot on. that is how you do McDonald's to McDonald's in London chaple Market N1and Canvey Island!

As an ex McDonald's employee - the food here was vile today!! A medium fries had barely half in it, and they were all cold, as well as the other portions of fries. Quarter pounder had 2 tiny pieces of onion and hardly any ketchup. Cold and dry. Would have taken it back if we weren't in a rush. Disgusting!

We were really impressed with this branch. Lovey customer service and incredibly tidy - top marks to Mark and his colleague who kept the cafe exceptionally clean.

McDonald's is like any other place. There's always a woman there, grey hair, glasses. Might be management. Whenever we see her, she's amazing, so friendly. I do think sometimes staff are a tad lazy as the burgers come to the table almost falling apart.

Very rude staff 5 of us all got refunds as no one was being served they were only worried about drive through and just eat orders Very bad

Best mc Donald’s I’ve had in a long time, mostly rubbish these days.

That was without question the worst food that I have ever bought from anywhere. It was a 25 minute wait (I actually think that they must have put the order together and then forgotten about it). Absolutely stone cold by the time I drove the 3 minute drive home.

Unfortunately there is no option at order kiosk to remove onions from big tasty, one of our big tasty burgers came with no onions, chips weren't salted and even had to ask for our child's drink with her happy meal......poor show really and not the first time.

Quick service, busy but good vibe

2am driving back from the airport and decided to call in the drive through. Had to repeat the order 3 times over the speaker and again at the first window. Something like 10+ mins later our food arrived (remember this was 2am and we were the only customers) and it was cold, without the dip that comes with the cheesy things. I have no idea how that much can go wrong in those circumstances? Wouldn't visit again.

Rider knew the area and the quickest route by the time I saw the notification the order had been collected and walked to my door he was there.

Gave us wrong drink order, then corrected it after I managed to get an employee not to just ignore me at the counter. Then the galaxy hot chocolate I ordered was basically dish water. Absolutely shocking.

Fries portions (4) very small. Grand kids not impressed. Burgers looked like they had been cooked in town and thrown like frisbee’s to marsh Barton. Presentation 0. Portion size 0.

Very slow service. Sometimes not even open at night despite being advertised as 24hrs!

Ordered a sassuge and egg muffin meal got the drink and hashbrown but no mc muffin how is it possible to forget that

I paid for ICED lattes and also paid for extra sausage and two has brown. I got hot lattes, no sausage and only one hash brown. I reported it but not had anything back from just eat/mcdonalds

£5 meal deal is great value. Galaxy hot chocolate was good too. Service was a little slow but friendly.

Most of order was missing no fries for any of the 5 meals, all drinks where wrong, no apple pies no dips. Burgers were all we got food wise other than chicken strips all of what was cold. Dunno how can get an order so wrong. So disappointed as it cost £62.

The drinks were tipped over , food was cold and the 3 kids meals were missing. Spoilt the night will never order from them again . Absolutely disgusted

My order hasn't been delivered yet

I order my food at1.37 pm and my food didn't get to me until 2.56 pm . This is not fast food the food was warm at best. Thos company is not producing the high standards that it uses to .

Rapid delivery of a large, complicated order, barely any waiting. All hot freshly cooked food including fries. Update. After four years of visiting using the app to make an order, maybe once every month or so, we've only missed out on milkshakes 4 or 5 times. Figure out when they clean the machine (it's a horrible job) and don't go at about that time. Failing that, unless it's been super, super busy, we've only ever had 2 problems with orders, both of which were fixed within a few minutes by popping in and asking politely.

Food came neatly presented, included everything and was as expected.

Did not put lid on a hot chocolate properly due to this causing a burn to my hand as well as going all over my clothing and car when telling a manager they didnt care at all and just gave attitude wasnt even apologetic anyone with younger people dont order this or your kid could end up in hospital

It is McDonald's and the only drive through one in Exeter Hence, it is often very busy. It is usually chaotic and outside is often many, many cars and overflowing bins. Service often slow. Look there is the Seven Stars pub nearby. And The Chip Inn. If you are not being held hostage by small children obsessed with bright packaging, do yourself a favour, go there instead

It's a McDonald's, you know what it's like! Being a very busy location, however, food is kind of slow and lukewarm when busy but non-peek times it's very standard McDonald's

McDonald's packaging really leaves a lot to be desired! My drinks had spilt over the paper bag... no fault of the delivery man - the McDonald's drinks holders are shoddy and not up to the job!

Even when the food is ok and on time, McDonald's never send the sauce, even when we pay for it, which sort of ruins the meal, especially if we don't have a replacement. Is it something McDonald's do to cut costs? is it worth ruining people's meals for the sale of 40p? You may think I'm being a Karen, but my kids definitely don't enjoy their happy meals as much without the 40p of sauce.

Extremely slow service, very cold food, rude manager who i spoke to and no apology for the 25 minute wait on the food. It wasn’t busy when I ordered, the staff just weren’t paying attention.

Chips were not even a quarter filled in the box and were stone cold. Burgers looked like old stock and were stale. Also the delivery driver wouldn’t give me the food for about 15 minutes as he had a problem with his phone. I had to give him our personal WiFi, which I didn’t really want to do. This took so long my food was cold and I was made to stand at the door waiting with no idea what was going on and not being given my food. Overall an awful experience on all fronts.

Really getting fed with this restaurant have to order on Just Eat as they say I'm outside of Mcdelivery area. however this is not a massive problem the real issue is that on every order they forget to put at least 1 item in and if you complain to Just Eat they refuse to deal with after a couple of incidents, and McDonald's just say can we give you something free next your in the restaurant rather than just keep giving away free food. GET IT RIGHT FIRST TIME!!!!!

my food did not arrive whatsoever, ordered at about 00:46 yesterday and claimed to be delivered at 7:35, but I had no call or interaction with a driver after I waited up for it, no food was delivered

It's McDonald's so you sort of knows what your getting. Nice clean restaurant with great staff. The food is good quality and hot. I would like the meal provided matches the adverted version 😀🍔

yet again no fries delivered with our meal. This keeps happening when we order from here. I have let it go on most occasions but now it's my meal too. I would Like the meal re delivered with it all there.

Food has always been bad, really long wait time for a McDonalds fast food restaurant and the staff seem really rough and unhelpful? Friend has become ill from the food couple of times, go elsewhere to save yourself a upset stomach.

We booked a very lovely place off ide Lane Exeter, by the looks of things it looked very nice,where we were staying was lovely,we felt a bit hungry and thought we'd give Macdonald's a go £16 odd pounds later we were waiting in a bay,close onto 10mins and food came ,we moved to otherside of carpark and started to eat food ,I can say this I've been to the other side of the world and the Macdonald's we got from there was first class no hassles no ques and portions were bigger than the ones in uk and at this point I tryed to eat my fillet of fish hard all round edges and going cold it's like Macdonald's don't care what they dish up I was gonna go back in store and ask the manager how you like my meal ,but as it is my other half birthday we'd thought we would treat ourselves, I didn't want to upset my wife ,so I've resorted to leaving this review of Macdonald's in Exeter, stone industrial est was appalling I've had better in other parts of the UK London Birmingham Manchester even right upto Scotland and I can honestly say 10 out of 10 for those places,but you would have thought that down in Exeter it would have been similar NO NO NO you the hell is the manager and why is it run by teenagers who ain't got a clue how to cook a burger let alone a slice of fish ,if I could score less I would Definitely avoid this site as you will throw it back in there faces .,food only suitable for the seagulls that hang around and the foxes come clean it up,disgusting place somebody should get a slap for operating a business that isn't fit for service, hey whoever is in charge of regional outlets of Macdonald's take note the service we got was awfully slow and food I would not recommend please please please see to it ..... I wouldn't recommend any if it how it comes to you once ya waited for 10mins 18 October a day to remember never ever eat from this store ,I can't say about the other food stuffs on menu I just don't want to know

Dnt expect too much. It is afterall, fastfood and yet the service was anything but. Considering that it was an empty store with 1 patron it still took 40mins to finish my order. When you do order out, deliveroo or just eat. Just be mindful that 9/10 they will forget or miss your condiments and cutleries.

Gutted. Busy weekend in Exeter, grabbed a Philly burger on way in. It was thrown together, a sticky mess unable to eat properly with a rebuild. Then on Sunday, quick breakfast as we head back to Cornwall, same thing with bacon McMuffin. Bacon under cooked and smashed egg hanging out. I ordered two sausage mcmuffins and two latte . Its around £5.58 p for the items as a new deal . I drove around and the messy bearded guy who looked off his head , he says to me it's £11.75p . I said there must be a mistake mate ,it should be around the £5 mark . He argued with me so much that I just drove off and went and parked and then I walked inside to the sticky dirty selfcheck out thing that i hate ,just to prove a point I ordered the items I wanted then i paid the correct amount and then stinky man got my food . I looked him in the eyes and i said that order was 5 pound odd bud . He then still continues to argue a point he had wrong in the first place . I threw all the food away as I instantly did not trust them with my order. They need retraining and the owner should reply to these complaints . And stop hiring idiots .
