Mcdonald's Restaurants in Exeter

The hot food and drink orders were cold, which was replaced but it should never have been served cold. Staff were nice and it was busy which could be the reason for the oversight.

Modified burgers ask for two extra gherkins and got one ask for extra onions about 20 little pieces ask for extra lettuce didn't even get the first lot of lettuce think management need to retrain their staff this is the second time I've been there in the last few weeks and they've mucked up the order yet again plus chips lukewarm again cullompton McDonald's a lot better

Was busy but still slow. The girl behind the counter seemed to be moaning a lot to other staff members. Other than that it's a McDonalds, you get what you get with it.

It's a MacDonald. You know what you get. Quite busy sometimes.

Tables was dirty even at 1am at night, very slow service, the chips had a weird taste, not great at all, many items not available to order

Clean tidy pretty quick service usually busy at time but then you would expect it friendly staff

Not a fan of the order at a touch screen and wait in a giant semicircle approach. Waiting 20 minutes for a chicken wrap 🌯 doesn't make it "fast" food in my opinion.

Ridiculous wait (30 mins for a bacon roll meal!). Dont go

Disappointed 40 minute wait for drive through...then given two wrong items in the order.

Not really food, as proven by the McLibel case. I didn't go in. Just parked outside.

Food was a collection and not a delivery so when it was only warm and not hot then you do feel disappointed as you expect McDonalds to have Hot Chips which these and the burger were not.

Be prepared for getting something different to what you ordered

Unfortunately not one of the better Macdonalds, there's always a wait even at drive thru, even when ordering from basic menu. Food is thrown together, as wraps never folded at bottom so your food falls out the bottom when you take it out of packaging therefore the 3 star rating for overall service .

They made the same sandwich three times and each time it was wrong 🙈🤣

Incorrect drink given asked for correct one, but gave up waiting for correct one after more than 10 minutes

The worst McDonald’s I’ve ever been to, go to exmouth if you want a better service and quality of food.

Food: Salad was limp, and the burger wasn't as hot as expected. Service: display said ready to collect but had to stand about for 5 minutes until it was ready. Almosphere: very busy, happy buzz about the place, clean and tidy.

Rubbish service . Staff stand around talking while ur waiting to be served . Whilst they can clearly see u waiting . Forget half of orders . Food looks like it's been thrown together . If could of given no stars i would of done

It's mcds... Thsi time at 2.30am I felt like there was a real shortage of staff

Breakfast in a bun. Bit dissapoited with only getting one hash brown in the meal deal but the coffee was good. Seems like you have to order by the app now as there's no obvious place for your order. Would have been good to have the option of a Big Mac as this is what there famous for and what I wanted.

Okay place, but don't bet on them being open after midnight (even though they are meant to be 24hrs) and if they are it will take the best part of 40 minutes to just get one burger ready if your walk in, they prioritise the drive through every time...

Usual BigMac meal which was fine. Use onscreen menu to choose and pay. Place was crowded but we found a couple of seats. No wait to get my order.

Terrible experience either eat in or take away , rude attitude and they don’t even know how to pack always missing item, that’s why they are poor

Chips were under cooked wasn't offered sugar for my coffee and forgot the sauce for hallomi fries

Located on a small trading estate. Just not it's not the fastest of fast food retailers.

Five BIG stars goes to ...... - Busy lunchtime when we called in. Found a table. Ate our meal. 1 - Very kind employee offered to take away our detritus when she noticed we'd finished. 2 - Visited the toilets, dreading, honestly, what they'd be like. They were PRISTINE as far as CLEANLINESS was concerned - it really took me by surprise. WELL DONE and thanks to those who maintain it! 👏 👏 👏

5/5 for being clean 5/5 for friendliness 5/5 for food being hot Unfortunately unable to give 5 overall due to the fact I asked for no ice in my drink but got ice. When I took the ice out by hand there was only half a cup of drink left due to the amount of ice put in the cup. I guess it saves someone money

It is actually a very good McDonald's. The wait wasn't too long even though it was very busy.

Ordered 2 Breakfast wraps with drinks, 3 hashbrowns and a cheesy flatbread and only 2 hashbrowns and one breakfast wrap with no drink turned up. Food was stone cold.

Drive through does not even display a menu and you can’t even pay to have salad on your burger. Whatever happened to have it your way 🤣

This branch takes forever to get food out. Sometimes, the food could be hotter. It is always busy and some of the staff try really hard whilst others look a bit daydreamy. It's location and drive thru option make it a popular choice and we will continue to use it despite mixed outcomes from visits. It's OK on the whole.

Rude staff, cold food, slow service. Anything that could be wrong was. Not happy, chips weren’t even salted. When I asked for ketchup I got a good old huff and a puff about it. The staff all look 12 and when I drove out they were all out the side door vaping and smoking instead of serving customers.

Ordered food last night it was about 10pm there was a fair few people waiting for the orders and the staff omg they was very very slow and taking forever to get peoples orders to them you could see how slow they were going about 7 orders was on the screen ready to be collected and the staff were like robots. Absolutely ridiculous. I was waiting forever I don’t get how they can be so slow at that time of night when it’s quiet. Absolute joke

It's OK I only have kids fish fingers hand chips 🍟 and ice cream coke

They closed me in a toilet and told me if I'm not going to leave them 5 star review, they will not let me out.

Well I love the food and enjoy coming here with family members also alot of vegan options for any vegans. I love this place. Sometimes the food can be cold 🥶. Sometimes the food is super good 👍. One of my favorite fast food restaurant 🍟🥤🍦🍔.

The lady going around clearing tables was excellent. She asked if we needed a high chair for my granddaughter before we had chance to offload our bags. She didn't stop clearing and cleaning the whole time we were there, she was excellent and was so lovely to see. Well done lady, havnt seen her kind of service in a long long time.

This has got to be the most inefficient restaurant in the McDonalds chain. I guess it’s a franchise. Regularly run out of stuff. Always having to park in the parking bay ‘cos nothing is ever ready. Orders wrong at the drive thru window. Check it before you drive off. Come McD get better you know you can.

Rarely use the drive-thru. Pleasantly surprised at how friendly and quick the service was despite how busy they were. Happy family 😃

Been to this one a few times now and they are quite slow at getting my order out. It's been very quiet each time I've gone so not sure what the issue is. It's been taking around 10 minutes for my food. Experience with most other McDonald's is a max of 5 mins if they're really busy.

Chips are always cold and ice-cream machine is always out of use but staff are friendly and the rest of the food is good.

From 10 times i order and 9 times they forget a burger or anything else, and i don t now how you can order 3 big tasty L meal and they miss 1 burger, going home with the food just to found 1 burger are missing.

Used to be quite good, but now orders are consistently wrong and missing more than one item.

Gets a star for being open at 3.30 am. Stone cold food, and a scalding hot chocolate instead of a much needed caffinated latte. I never learn!

Seemed to wait a time for our order. 2 burgers fries and shakes. Fries cold. Disappointing hoping for hot food if waited for cooked to order? but seems not. Seemed well staffed.

have ordered through the app on a few occassions... today was the last straw. Not once can the idiot staff get the order right!! Honestly are the staff just thick or are they so uneducated they cant count or read? Its pathetic, not once has my order arrived correctly! The chips are never a portion, items always missing. Absolute joke, even tried the drive through for a change a while back.... guess what they still left an item out!! Never been to a mcdonalds full of such incompetent idiots, if you choose to employ these people maybe offer English and maths lessons so they can at least read an order and count the items, it really is not difficult. I WILL NEVER USE THIS PLACE AGAIN AVOID!!!!

Stopped here to pick up a quick lunch before heading to my next job, was asked to park up with another 7 cars all waiting for their food, waited for 25 minutes for a quater pounder and fries only for it to come out and half the order be missing..... waited a further 15 minutes before I eventually had to go into the restaurant to find out where my order was, then it took another 10 minutes to resolve as they'd lost my order, absolute shambles of a restaurant, worst McDonald's I've ever had the miss fortune to visit.

Because sometimes, my wife and I like to spoil ourselves.....

Took the drive through, no milkshakes of any flavour. Sat in a queue of 5 vehicles about 7 minutes, not exactly fast food, and then when we got it it was lukewarm. Couldn't be bothered to turn around and go back to sit in another queue for 7 minutes. We'll give it a miss next time.

Utterly disappointed. We come here to grab something quickly on the way back and end up wasting our time waiting forever parked in the rain. When our food is finally came it’s someone else’s order and even when getting it we questioned this but was told it was ours. Checked and it wasn’t! Had to go out in the rain and return this. Waited another 5-10 mins for the correct order. No apology from staff either. Absolutely Disgusting. Worst service and experience. Won’t be using Marsh Barton Drive Through again!

The machine didn't give out tickets when ordering meal and the server wasn't interested. Also, the service was very slow.

Terrible dreadful awful!! Worst experience I have ever had at Maccy D. Chaotic. Orders were mixed up, food was dreadful and cold. Poor guy delivering food to cars stacked up in the waiting bays overwhelmed as most of the orders were wrong. I will NEVER go back to this place.

Went through drive through, my double quarter pounder meal, they gave me a double cheeseburger, my other quarter pound burger meal was made with the top and bottom bun the wrong way around, both cokes tasted like fizzy water and I didn't get the dip with the cheese bites. Their staff are stupid.

Ordered 2 large meals with Dips to take away. Both 🍟 were half full & cold ! No Dips !! & 1 straw. You need to do better.

The dressing for the burger that I had was more in the box than in the burger, the chips were not fresh, and they were dry (that's not a big problem) but the burgers are always a disappointment, every time I go there the dressing is not centred on the burger (which I know for a fact that it has to be!).

Don't think I've ever had a complete order from this site. Staff are 100% happy to rectify, but doesn't exactly work if you've already driven home when you thought everything was there, and it'll take 20 minutes to drive back through traffic 😅 Food is also low quality, cold, chewy and never assembled right. Half my cheese is usually in the box rather than the burger. I should probably give up going here and just go to Holden Hill instead. They know how to do their jobs better/get paid better.

I’m celiac and have eaten at multiple locations. I went to the till and stood there waiting for a while whilst the girls pissed about in the kitchen. They could clearly see me waiting but didn’t acknowledge me at all and continued to throw bags on each other’s heads and shout around the kitchen like children. After finally getting someone’s attention I let the girls know I was celiac and wanted to double check no cross contamination would happen - they simply just gave me the allergy card - no communication or smile at all (I’m very aware what’s containing gluten). My order itself came fast and the girl who brought it out was very lovely and understanding (this isn’t directed at you at all you were super). It’s just odd as I’ve never had a bad experience with the company before.

Absolutely awful food, got told to park in a bay, waited for 20 minutes, which is okay if they need to cook something (none of McDonald’s stock takes that long to cook) and when it finally came out everything was ice cold. Plenty of dodgy looking people outside this one. Went through the drive through and had to wait half an hour at a bay for our food. The guy couldn't even remember what our order was. A bunch of teens running it

I go to this restaurant regularly on a Monday night while working in the area.last 3 weeks iv had to wait between 40 to 50 minutes for my takeaway order in store. The self service hasn't give a recipe on two of my visit in these past 3weeks if I miss my order number iv no idea witch order is mine tonight I order a large white coffee and ended up with a white tea instead. whats going on use to be good before

This place always gets the order slightly wrong. It’s also always packed with people and the service is terrible. On a Sunday night we waited 45 minutes for our order….?! Never going again after that.

Very busy. Might just be because it was black Friday weekend. However, a long wait for food and when it did arrive, the server had put the chips in upside down. When I called them back I was ignored. I finally got my order rebagged with chips that weren't dumped all over my other food but the chips were cold as was one of my burgers. Doubt I'll return...

Don't use this McDonald's, unless you like cold food and receiving the wrong order. We even had one meal with half the bun missing. Haldon hill McDonald's is Soo much better..

What can I say, other than it's a Maccies. They got my order right, and was quite quick ... good for 6.30am
