Great quality food, great price, great service. Cannot fault this chippy at all. Turned up just after opening and wasn't waiting long at all for my order.

We always call in here when in Durham as i hate prepackaged sandwiches. Fresh and tasty. Husband recommends the New Yorker.

Best fish and Chips ...we've had for a long time..definitely be getting again..delivery great and bang on time..excellent.

1ST Kebab, was full and lush 2nd one was a lot less amount and 3rd one tonight was terrible,she put a table spoon of salad red and white cabbage and 2 small halves of cucumber on it.what a greedy woman she is. i won't return i've given them a few chances to be fair with the customer. i asked her if she could mange a bit more salad, she replied i would have to charge you a £1 for it. I came home ate the tiny kebab which cost me £7.40p and had to order food from somewhere else as i was still very hungry after eating the measly little kebab.Get your act together GOLDEN FRY.

A refreshing and exciting choice for those that lunch on the go without the dreaded wait of most sit in venues in Whitley Bay. A good selection of paninis available, from familiar suspects such as tuna melts and always something different for the more adventurous amongst us! Bacon and sausage sandwiches are served in mini stotties for a proper northern sandwich, breakfast bagels are also available and other goods such as cold sandwiches which makes it worth popping in to see what’s on the menu. Good quality coffee is served with syrups and boozy shots for the naughty ones amongst us along with tempting sweet treats that go nicely together. I can’t leave this review without the mention of the staff who are all brilliant and provide a faultless service, definitely not one to miss!

Called here for a sandwich and coffee we both had a baguette could not fault it full of filling as well as salad, even got a free cookie with our coffee. Also bought a plate quiche for tea as it looked lovely we will return soon

First visit to gmts by recommendation from a friend as my usual chinese was shut, i phoned the order in and went to pick it up and when i walked in the door the smells from all the different food hit you..... It was amazing. Staff were brilliant and the price is very reasonable, the food was absolutely amazing too. This place is easily my new favourite.

Service was good but £3 odd for the smallest portion of soggy chips that weren’t cooked fully. Disappointing.

The chips were stale and obviously hadnt been cooked from fresh. The chicken curry was disgusting the chicken was like leather. I cannot recommend to anyone

Food is excellent, however you must be patient and wait for the fish to be cooked. It does ensure that the fish is perfect though!

Great place to visit so much to see and do. For those who love long walks, they will enjoy. The house has plenty of stairs, so be aware if mobility is an issue. I used my mobility scooter to get from the car park to the house and then to the visitor centre for some lunch with a wonder round the gift shop. With the cost of entry and food it can be expensive but the food is excellent quality. All the staff are welcoming, friendly, and ready to answer any questions.

Food was cold and the pizza bread was not toasted must just took it out of the packet, would not order agin

Ordered it came on time and was delicious it came on time and the Currys were still very warm fair and cheap priced.will be ordering again

Great fish as i try not to eat chips I've only one criticism, the fish are cooked to order which i understand but they then just put them straight in a box, the grease that's left in the box makes the batter soggy and inedible. If given five minutes to drain they'd be even better. But still the best in the area.
