Cannot complain always quality food & service with a smile. Lovely portion sizes too!!

Just stopped in for a cheeseburger and chips could not fault them delicious

I have been using chapel chippy since malt and salt closed,have never been disappointed fish is always good and large kebab meat and chips does me and the bride. Simon always has a smile and s chat can't find fault.

Excellent service. Ringing order in 10 mins ahead and its ready for collection as soon as you get there. Huge portions, great quality and tasty fish and chips. Very friendly staff. Good value for money.

Fantastic welcome every time by larger than life Simon & Family with the best fish & chips , and mushy peas of course in the outerwest of Newcastle …..right in the centre of Chapel House shopping centre. ….fish freshly cooked to order and large, of the very highest quality with “scranshings” and marvellously cooked chips ! Actually even the normal fish & chips is too much for me alone but shred with wife Olga -well done for excellent service, great quality and excellent value for money. A wonderful and easily accessible community asset.

Cooked fresh to order decent food closes early

Got my order tonight and omg the food was unreal you get huge portions we got the 3 in 1 box we got two one for my self and one for my husband thinking they would be small but they are huge so note to self order one between us the next time the quality of food is unreal I would highly recommend chapel chippy to everyone 😊

First time for fish and chips 10 out of ten only thing they need is proper mushy peas the ones they sell are not nice other than that great

Worst fish and chips I’ve ever had , supposed to be cod !! Really don’t think so had no taste batter disgusting no flavour chips cold . Overall absolutely disgusting 🤮

Really good food here, served on time. I'd recommend the chicken tikka kebab or wrap, great value, as well as the fish and chips. Kids always enjoy the Margarita pizza and chicken burgers. Staff are really friendly!

Great traditional takeaway food & friendly family service. Always top quality, never had any complaints- always happy and full. Easily my fave local chippy

Ordered two battered sausages and chips, received them and one of them wasn’t battered, when I corrected the staff member that I asked for battered he went in a huff and was muttering things under his breath to his co workers and tried to undermine me and as I left I was scowled at and they were clearly talking about it. When you’re paying money in to a business and they get your order wrong you have every right to correct them and not receive slander back from them. The nasty scowls and muttering of nasty remarks are a good enough reason to never visit Chapel House chippy.

Best place for fish and chips in this area. Staff are really friendly and always make you feel welcome. I haven't tried their pizzas etc so can't comment, but fish and chips is really good

We have tried this place a few times now, and I think its going to be our favourite. We have tried a kebab, fish n chips and now pizza. They were all fantastic. Top quality great value for money and the staff are all really nice. We will definitely be back and definitely recommend.

Lovely food friendly staff, would give it 5 but the minimum order has to be £10 a bit disappointing when fish and chips and a carton of sauce comes to nearly £9.00 and you can't have it delivered. Surely if the driver is employed anyway its a bit silly to refuse custom in these uncertain times , may be better to lower the minimum slightly to compete with other shops

Been coming here for a while, they have a good extensive menu. All the fish is cooked fresh, as you have to wait, great staff, and a pleasure to do business with. Highly Recommend.

Oh my cod! This is the best plaice for Fish and Chips. Only costs a few squid as well! Best pizzas in the tunaverse!

Avoid this store especially if you have children because clearly they have a problem with them! Been here a couple of times and each time they throw dirty looks at the children if they so much as speak. Absolutely shocking place!!! I will never step foot in the shop again to top it off today they shouted at and frightened 6 year old little kids and then acted offended when the parent shouted at them. I can guarantee it would not have happened had the children been with their fathers instead of their mothers absolutely disgusting people and the food is not much to rate either so just cemented my opinion on the place.
