The best restaurants serving Fast food food in England

I ordered the fish and chips, the chips was warm, not cooked right, the fish I had was cod and that wasn’t cooked, parts off the batter still had the batter mixture still there, meaning not cooked right, and the fish was smelling off, in the end I just put it in the bin and never been back

Ordered for delivery the food arrived luke warm the fish was hard and the lamb wrap was soggy and the sauce was running out of it like water dreadful won’t be ordering there again !

I have used this chippy in the past years ago as my Gran has always lived in the area,however I had been in a couple of times during February 2025. For fish and chips. Portion size for regular chips is quite on the small side for what you're paying for, plus chips were over done and cold.The fish had been over done on both occasions. Today in particular fish seemed like it had been recooked, the batter was over crispy and cod tasted rubbery. I am disappointed as was buying for my Gran for a Friday treat and she didn't enjoy the fish. I like to give local businesses the benefit of the doubt,and dont like to leave negative reviews,but because I've tried twice in same month I will be reluctant to return.

Although there are two famous place for bagel in London, this place is also worth checking out because there are so many fillings to choose from like Jerk chicken, Chinese chicken, minted lamb etc. For desserts, they also have old school puddings served with custards but not home made custards though. I had the minted lamb bagel which was really nice but the mint sauce was bit sweet. The chocolate sponge I had was a little soft and didn't hold together well.

It's one of our usual takeaways but for the last few months every single time we've ordered something has been wrong or missing from our order. Staff are new and menu has changed appearance so wondering if there's new management?

Pedí unos nuggets de pollo y seleccioné una salsa para acompañarla en el quiosco, cuando la recogí, la salsa no estaba incluida. Cuando le dije esto al personal me dijeron que tendría que pagar 30 peniques por ello, a pesar de decirles que ya había pedido una salsa. La comida estaba en el medio en el mejor de los casos, pero eso es de esperar para un lugar como este, no vienes aquí exactamente para una comida de calidad.

First order since 'new management ' loved the choice to choose salad but obviously the staff didn't get this memo. One kebab completely wrong, wrong sauce, wrong salad, packed with onions when not ordered (luckily not allergic). The medium chips were not big enough to feed a toddler. Overall very disappointing and will not be returning.

Just had fish and chips, to start with there was very little fish just batter and the chips were cold. No way would I ever recommend this place, I shoul have taken it back.

surprisingly impressed subs where very good ,service and drinks where great slight downside is that the place is starting show its age which is probably due to it being so good and busy prices have gone up but keep an eye out for offers!!

I used to rave about Zak's as one of the best Chip shops in the Midlands. I went there today and things have gone downhill. I ordered battered sausage and chips and was overcharged by the woman behind the counter. The chips were mediocre at best but they were the highlight of the meal. The sausage was old and crusty. The batter was like concrete and I nearly broke my teeth trying to bite it. In fact, after the first mouthfull that went in the bin. If I had to put money on it I would say it was yesterdays. I think I've given this review 2 stars just for old times sake....it truly isnt merited. I wont be going back which is really sad to me. Avoid it.

I always go to this subway I’m a local Coustomer.I went to shop today and bought a steak sandwich with double cheese and drink she worked alone today on Tuesday 12/07/2022 at 17:19 she putt too little steak I said to her put extra steak and cheese I will pay extra I told her please can you put me more sauce she told me no I can’t. I told her Why you annoying me? I want large drink and sauce and steak cheese I paid you but you didn’t give me!! she spoke very rude to me!! She said don’t order to me while you are on your phone?? I was surprised?!She said to me don’t come here anymore!!?? I understood she want to make a problem, I said I’m very rush you give me my food I need to go, she did keep my food and discuss and argue to me I took one glass large for my drink she did hit my hand and threw the scanner at me she shuts on me I said to her what do you do?you don’t give my food and hit me?! What a customer service is that, Even she didn’t want to give me my drink, all because I was talking to my phone, I had to call the police at the end. I don’t go to this subway anymore and I don’t know how subway give a job to this girl. She was so rude and very bad customer service.
