Great chippy food always hot, tasty & not greasy- staff are always friendly and advise on the different options

I had a chicken pie and chips from the shop on two occasions. The first time, the chips were very greasy and the second time the pie pastry was very tough as though it had been under the heater for days.

We thought we would give this chip shop a try whilst we were out, the fish was awful, over cooked and very chewy. The chips were OK, but I must admit I won't be going back.

Excellent fish and chip shop. Lovely, friendly staff. Good quality fresh fish. All very reasonably priced.

It’s just a local chippy that offers free home delivery for a twist.Beware!!! Ordered online for delivery to then be informed by phone that they were not deliivering that night. When asked for refund they did not want to give me the money which was £12.I had to get PayPal to force my money back which took over two weeks, watch these guys they are dodgy!

We had some awful fish and chips from here - old smelly fish that didn't look or taste like cod (it was on the menu as cod!) soggy undercooked batter and chips with lots of black bits in them. Total waste of money!

Never tried the place before but the fiancee said it's was a decent chippy in the past, but the previous owner Sid had moved, but we gave it a go, never again! Chips were ok but my haddock was awful, under cooked and her donna wrap was tasteless, worse thing about the place, the staff, so take my advice and avoid it.

This is a great fish and chip shop. The owners are very nice especially Sid and his uncle. He also has a son and a lot of employees. The chip shop does gluten free and they do a variety of options. Id you spend over £ 15 you get a free two litre bottle. This is a good place to go for fish and chips. They also do delivery here and the food is still hot when it arrives. You can get pretty much anything as long as it is on the menu. You have to order fish when entering the shop though. This is the only down fall. They have a card machine for if you spend over a certain amount. I cant think of any downfall

It has not been as good as usual recently as Sid has been setting up a new shop. Sids uncle can cook fish and chips but they are not as good as Sids. The chip shop staff do not have many manners and swear when they get frustrated which is very often especially when they get a very large order.

Phoned the order through, "be ready in 15 minutes" I was told. Got there 15 minutes later to find they hadn't started cooking my order. Waited for 45 minutes, yes... 45 minutes before the order was ready. It was only a basic cod and chips order, what's so difficult? I won't be back.

Fish (supposed to be "large") was small and dry! Mushy peas were 50% liquid - hardly any peas in there at all. On the plus side the chips were nice!

My wife & I visited this local chippy after I had read a recent leaflet. I was a little sceptical as you never know what you are going to get from a chippy! Well, I can assure you, this was well worth the visit! We both had Doner meat & chips. It comes in those plastic containers but it was rammed so full it was nearly bursting out. The chips were so fresh without any eyes & cooked perfectly. The Donner meat was not burnt or old. For £3:50, asking also if you want salad & sauce, you couldn't really ask for more. The guys serving are pleasant & quick. Although I live 8 miles away, I will definately be going again. They also offer delivery in the Lutterworth area only & you can also ring your order through.

Had to wait over 25mins for Haddock to be cooked. The service was dreadful. Chips where undercooked and fish had no flavour at all. I don't have Fish & Chips very often and I certainly won't ever go here again.

Live about 5 miles away and always come here for gluten free option. It's brilliant! Difficult to get elsewhere and they taste great. Always ring to order and food always ready. Service friendly and helpful - always polite.

To be quite honest, the doner meat could be cooked a bit better. I also believe that the serving proportions could be a little bit more worth for money? I think they're are ridiculous prices for the chips and doner baps. You don't really get your money's worth but decent food.

Whatever has happened to this fish & chip shop? It always used to be ok. Has it changed hands recently? The fish was small & undercooked. The batter was soggy. The chips were all mushed together. The mushy peas were so watery they were like a soup. We had to wait a long time for it to be cooked. This is fine so long as it is edible. Won"t be giving it a second chance.

I live locally and go to Neptunes as my first choice for a chippy in the area. I've never been disappointed with a take away yet!

Tried this place for the first time as the other chippy sometimes go to was shut. The place seemed clean. The staff were friendly but there was a bit of a wait before we go served due to someone ordering a few meals etc but didn't seem to be rushing. The chips were nice, don't know what the other food is like but if it like the meal I had then it should be nice. I would say try this chippy
