Usually order from Peppes quite regularly, and the only issue we have is delivery being rather slow. However todays order was just extremely disappointing. After waiting 1hr30, food turns up cold and missing 2 meals. Chicken is chewy and a cheeseburger sent without the cheese. Phoned up to be told “Claim it back through just eat” . Awful customer service and won’t be ordering again.

Our food took over 3 hours to be delivered, couldn't contact them by phone as it was just ringing and ringing. In the end my son rode over there to see what was going on! He was fobbed off with excuses and told the delivery driver was ten minutes away. 15 minutes later, when it eventually arrived half of it was cold. Chips and onion rings were horrible. Really disappointing

TERRIBLE. They gave us SPOILED chicken. I ate a whole bite… It was definitely out of date even the smell was awful. I asked for them to replace it and they said it would be replaced with the SAME chicken. Then I asked for a refund and they said no. DISGUSTING CHICKEN AND EVEN WORSE SERVICE. Update- I have food poisoning 👍

Never order in the day. They take 2 hours to deliver and and hour extra for collection and just can't be arsed to contact you to let you know! This isn't the first time!

Absolutely disgusting they forgot (or ripped us off) for some of the order. They dropped it off and drove off before we checked the order. Please save some money and avoid at all costs. We did try to call the shop but15 Tim’s later and still not picking up I suggest they have ripped us off. 0/10 TERRIBLE

Best fried chicken and wraps in Leicester area.

Chicken was tasty but soggy and double cheese burger was shocking. The burgers were so over cooked they were literally un edible. Such a same as the burgers used to be great. Won't be using again. Hopefully KFC come back to harborough very soon

Update: Ordered our first Peppes pizza last night and it was absolutely perfect. We’re incredibly fussy about our pizza and this was incredible. Best one in town. Had a really lovely Friday night meal. It arrived hot. The delivery took longer than expected but we understand that it’s a small place and with everything going on with covid and it being a Friday night that’s bound to happen. Regardless, the food was awesome as usual.

fake photo in their reviews shows chicken from 'Pepe's' the real franchise. These guys are 'Peppe's'. what a scam. They stole someone else's restaurant photos and lied to our face about it while ordering.

Every time when i order food is perfect. Same taste. Hot and juicy. 4 hot wings 4 chicken strips chips with peri peri and peri peri wrap. They deliver fast.

One of the worst takeaway meals. Chicken was soo dry, and the kids popcorn chicken has 4 pieces. Absolute joke. Never again!

If you go to Market Harborough where close to Leicester city, you should definitely go and eat the chicken wrap. I ate that was delicious all chicken and pizzas.

I live in Glen Parva Leicester and every weekend we go there to eat chicken wrap. They have a special sauce and their chips with peri sauce os perfect. Chicken tenders are really crispy and has a spicy taste.

We as a family have had several meals from Peppes lately and we cannot fault the food, the price or the delivery service. Excellent!!

I had 2 chicken pieces and several chicken strips, both being SFC, but both portions lacked flavour. 4 stars is me being fairly generous, customer service was good, speed of the service was fairly Good, And both portions of chicken was fairly succulent, not dry, it just lacked flavour of what SFC should taste like.

First time I'd ever been this evening, absolutely delicious food (I had the SFC burrito), great value & friendly staff...Will definitely be back! 😋

Kebab meat and salad drowned in chili sauce, couldn't eat it, pitta was so hard, could use it as a missile. Pizza was tasteless. So no would not recommend, after waiting well over 90 mins for this, we ate cheese on toast instead.

Probably the worse food I ever had. Poor veggie burger, didn't cook enough, mushy and disgusting. Chips are over salted, disgusting. Finally, 1h40min waiting time for delivery! Never again!

Ordered on the phone piri chips and chicken strips worst food I’ve eaten piri chips should be called salt that’s all that was on them and tons of it threw them away and chicken was poor also even the garlic mayonnaise couldn’t give any decent taste never again garbage food

Not happy ordered what i always order donner meat and chips with sweet chilli sauce. When it arrived it had hot sauce on my food not sweet chilli sauce when my girlfriend rang up about it they were rude to her on the phone so i then spoke to them and they said they would refund me my money for my meal which they never did. Do not waste your money here apparently hot sauce is sweet chilli sauce.

Originally went to this place to try it out when a menu came through the door. So glad we did, the fried chicken is the nicest chicken ever and i cant get over how good the portions and prices are. When the family gets together its a definite favourite. Never had it delivered so cant comment on that because we always collect but we always get what we asked for

Ordered and over an hour later half the order arrived. Rang them and they said they would bring the rest in half an hour. Fifty minutes later no food so rang back and told it would be another 40 minutes so asked for my money back and was told I would only get a part refund. I told him I was not happy only to be told I am a drunk and he put the phone down, disgusting money grabbing person!!!!!!

food took over an hour to be delivered. when I called the staff were extremely rude and said "do you want it or not". the next day I heard that the people living next door to the store had rats in their living room from peppes. Will definitely never go to this store again. Disgusting

Me and the Mrs ordered food after long shifts around 5 weeks ago. Got told it would take 45 minutes to an hour. Eventually turned up and got completely the wrong order. Rang Peppe's back who said they would re send the food and complained, this took over another food hour and the food ended up turning up gone midnight. Mrs got told we could order for free next time, making sure we left out name and address and we're told not to worry that they wouldn't forget. Have ordered food once again tonight and told them about the mishap from last time to be told they aren't aware of this and tried to give us 3 bits of fillet chicken for free taking out order from £20 to around £16. An absolute cop out. As much as I like the food for a takeaway the customer service really lets them down and no wonder it has poor reviews overall.

What a shame, we have eaten peppes chicken loads of times, and have really enjoyed it. On this occasion, we decided to order via the Peppes own app... we thought that Peppes wouldn't have to pay commission to just eat etc.. Ordered, got 10% discount as first order (thanks peppes), received email confirmation and waited 45 mins... called an hour later to find out where our order was so be told that their own app hadn't been working for 3 months..... WHAT?!!! Gave our order again...£5 more expensive, told them to forget it and made something ourselves I won't ever use you again... rubbish, and a real shame as I have always raved about you

I ordered a takeaway via Just Eat. Peppes accepted my order on email and text, advised it would arrive by 8:15pm. When it hadn't arrived by 8:45, I phoned Just Eat, they contacted Peppes and the manager from Peppes told Just Eat that they were too far away to deliver to me and then lied and said they had told me this. I called Peppes to get am explanation and they said they had called but I was engaged. Which was also a lie because I was not on the phone that evening and had received no missed calls. I asked why they had accepted the order and their answer was that they guy who accepts the orders doesn't know the post codes so doesn't know which ones to reject. These guys are complete cowboys and I would advise anyone against using them.

we regularly order from Peppe's as a company & when we ordered food today, for a third time in three weeks, it was incorrect. When we called to make our order we explained clearly on the phone we wanted our wraps marked (as one was spicy and two plain & there is now way to tell the difference) and no salad on our burger. ( I had wrote to them previously about this and didn't get a response via their website even though I left my name and number and email address) When I called to move them aware of their mistake, as wraps were not marked and salad was on the burger and we asked for replacements - we were shouted at. Told to SHUT UP and was told that he didn't work for me. As it has been the third time I had asked for replacement items and asked for a refund, he told me he would NOT, didn't have too, but would send a new burger and only when pressed did he offer a new wrap. Food was re-delivered quickly and correctly. Delivery people did apologise. Also the driver that come last week had no change and said he would give it us next time.....

We regularly uses Peppe's for a takeaway. They have a good variety of options and some bargain meal offers too. There are options such as wraps, SFC, burgers, pitta and even baguettes. If you don't fancy chicken they also do beef burgers and kebabs. The chicken is always cooked really well and tastes fresh. Their peri-peri sauce is great too as well as the peri-peri chips. They usually deliver pretty fast and are friendly. One of our favourite takeaways in Harborough and definitely gives the Colonel some competition.

Not great. Waited an hour for delivery on a Wednesday. Order was wrong, wife ordered a burger, got a wrap, no sauces that we ordered, sweetcorn turned out to be not corn on the cob as you'd expect but a small plastic tub of ordinary sweetcorn that's been microwaved to within an inch of its life! When we called to complain the guy said there wasn't anything he could do. Chicken itself was OK, but we won't go there again.
