Ordered for delivery the food arrived luke warm the fish was hard and the lamb wrap was soggy and the sauce was running out of it like water dreadful won’t be ordering there again !

Can somebody teach them how to fry, please? Horrible white half-raw chips, the fish is basically inedible. Waste of money!

I’m not sure why it’s called Salt and Vinegar considering they hardly put any on your portion. I was with my partner and we just laughed it off though as the chips were nice but clearly lacking any Salt and Vinegar. It’s almost as if they’ve named the shop in irony. The saveloy was nice and the curry was lovely.

Batter tastes like soggy pancakes! Disappointing. Ordered by mistake as actually wanted salt and vinegar Ashford. Will try them next time

Ordered via Deliveroo the other night. Took quite a long time to arrive but it was worth the wait. Generous portion, excellent fluffy chips, tasty scampi and a delicious milkshake.

Ordered this takeaway from Just-Eat to the Travelodge Chertsey as just visited Thorpe Park as of course with the curfew currently in place we went onto Just-Eat and this Chippy popped up thought we give it a go me and my friend price wasn't too bad and nice quality chips.

I live in a block of flats for over 55. They stoped the delivery of fish and chips on Friday. I find it difficult to get out so I ordered through just eat for fish and chips. and curry sauce to order to the minimum. I order a sausage. It was 20 mins early. I had wonder how much their food. My dinner plates are big. The chips fill it The plaice was very big. The taste was very good. So I wonder again from her

We were in Staines today just passing through at lunchtime, saw this place and thought, why not? What a find, popped in to buy a couple of burgers and came out with a whole meal for two! Cooked to order and nice sized portions -proper chips too..whats to fault? Absolutely nothing. Expect it is very busy in the evenings!!

What it may lack in flavours is balanced by the quantity of food you will be served. A nice quick, filling bite.

This fish and chip shop is excellent, their food is cooked fresh to order and they also deliver if the value is ove4 £16

Greasy yuky food would not recommend poor quality food would not buy from there again. Would sooner have a McDonald’s

Had dinner after the football. The restaurant is tidy and clean and the staff friendly. It’s a decent serve. Had the large and the small version of cod and chips. For me, I’d like chips cooked just a little more as they were a bit anemic. The fish was tasty but the batter was a bit thick and I had to peel most of it off. Would be ideal for those who enjoy their batter!

This is without a shadow of a doubt the worst fish and chips shop I have ever had the misfortune to go to. The quantaties of fish and chips ate very small and the cod tastes like frozen fish and fingers. Staff are very dishonest too. When I came to pay for my very averge meal I was informed that it would be 75p more than was advertised when I challenged the owner he said that the prices on the board were old prices and the new price was more. since that day I have never visited the place again and whan I have had conversations with other they have also complained about poor food quality.

This is the best fish & chips chop for miles around fresh fish cooked while you wait it does not get better than that !!!!!!!

£4.50 for 3 pieces of halloumi on an over-sized bed of lettuce, served on top of a pitta (which was weird, considering I ordered a halloumi WRAP)?!

I've tried this place a couple of time and the fish and chips was perfect loveley crispy batter well cooked meaty textured fish and chips was cooked spot on... well done I will be back

Very friendly chip shop - I had grilled hullumi/salad pitta bread as well which was excellent plenty of chips - next time we will share a portion! Good value for money and fish looked good too

Recently opened in Staines, Salt & Vinegar are essentially a fish and chips outlet but also offer a wide range of take away or eat in food including Southern Fried Chicken, Kebabs and Burgers plus Calamari and Prawn dishes. Very clean and well presented with a nice dining area, they offer a good lunchtime specials menu (available between 12 noon and 4.10 pm). Free home delivery service is available on orders of £12 and above (very prompt when we used it). All food tried has been very good (particularly the battered cod) and the portions generous. Good addition to Staines's eating options.
