Bagel King in Southwark

Although there are two famous place for bagel in London, this place is also worth checking out because there are so many fillings to choose from like Jerk chicken, Chinese chicken, minted lamb etc. For desserts, they also have old school puddings served with custards but not home made custards though. I had the minted lamb bagel which was really nice but the mint sauce was bit sweet. The chocolate sponge I had was a little soft and didn't hold together well.

Disfruté de este lugar. Un menú inmenso que no imaginarías. Bagel de pollo salado. Panecillo de pollo. Me encantó. Buena comida llegar las 24 horas.

Order a bagel and if came cold and the rice and jerk chicken was dry and cold with no sauce. I asked for everything to be warmed apart from my Apple crumble however nothing was warmed up Apart from the Apple crumble. Avoid this place at all costs. The workers hate their jobs and will take it out on you and your bagel. Terrible place

Don’t eat here. They warm up your bagels in the microwave. The whole thing - cream cheese and all. Only one type of bagel available (plain). Quite a few toppings but they all end up horrible after microwaving. They could learn to toast a bagel and then add toppings after.

People have spoken about this for so long so when I got the chance to go, I was excited It was very late night and still packed so this gave me hope it was going to be good. This was wrong I ordered a pattie and a bagel and left. Once in the car, we left and I bit into the pattie... and it was COLD - even tho I asked for it hot. I took another bite, and it was hot. Then it was literally hit and miss if it was hot or cold. Not hot or warm, hot or COLD! And the bagel was the same. I would be eating hot tuna in one bite and would feel I was eating tuna straight out of the can on the next I could manage it in the bagel but put me off the patty to the point I did not finish it

I was expecting something to rival beigel bake in brick lane. Chalk and cheese, I'm afraid. saltbeef was chewy and tastless, the bagal was just bread... But the staff were very pleasant, other foods looked good and sold well such as cake and custard, chicken, allsorts of patties, and a good slush puppy machine..

I’ve been here so many times, countless. Each time I come the food is just so disappointing. Their jerk chicken bagel is not even real jerked out chicken. I think people seem to think jerk chicken is just putting the jerk sauce on it & then boom it’s done. But no. I think they need to rename the jerk chicken bagel; bbq chicken bagel or something along the lines of that. Also, their recipe for the apple crumble has changed, it used to be so nice but now they’ve put something in it that throws the whole taste off and it literally tastes weird. There food is also over priced for the quality of food they give you which is really quite poor. The slushies also taste slightly different, the may have changed the recipe. There customer service is quite good though as I guess it is a popular place but very overrated and overpriced.

Friendly service, but really bad food. Bagels were stale unfortunately. They do other bits and pieces to eat but if you’re after a bagel, don’t bother.

I have grown up on bagel King from a small boy playing football at burgees park, walking up to mix blessing bakery to get frsh cocoa bread then heading to bagel king for a filling of jerk chicken and bbq sauce this place has always been Number one for me, I recently visited it again after years of not really having much reason to be in the area as I live in Croydon and I can honestly say I fell in love again and so this my Partner. Keep up the good work guys and lets get that Croydon store open soon.

I have been to this restaurant twice now, i always order the bagel with jerk chicken, cheese and barbecue sauce i and for pudding i like the apple crumble, which is delicious but at times there is not enough apple in it. The staffs are nice and the restaurant is alway crowded at night time.

Every now and then I come here. Variety and service is good but it is not very special. It is nice it is nearby but wouldn't cross the city for this one. Prices are ok.

Get the crumble you won't regret it! Quite surprised of the variety of food that was on offer in the establishment!

Was driving past one morning and hadn't had breakfast so was a good idea to pop in and have a bagel which my favourite topping inside. Bagel itself was a bit crunchy maybe it had just been mine but was tasty overall.

There isn't much variety for the fillings, and some of them don't really taste that well. I really wanted some coronation chicken, and they didn't have even that :(

Bagel King Walworth Road. No tuvimos tiempo de ir el icónico Brick Lane, así me dijeron que probar Bagel King en Walworth Road en Camberwell en su lugar. Fue un gran error. La carne salada era tan difícil como cuero, viscosa, mucosa y sin sabor. The bagel era horrible y probado más como un bollo. que no era un bagel certaonly auténtico. Microwaving fue una verdadera "alegría" para ver. El personal era tan agradable como una pared de ladrillos y también mal mi pedido. El apagado a los alimentos empaquetados es aburrida con bastante raro ni bagels en exhibición. La peor bagel que he probado en 44 años. Compré tres binned y los otros dos. tremenda pérdida de 9 libras. Evitar como de la peste. Absolutamente horrible.

Aunque este lugar puede ser abierto las 24 horas del día, es justo decir que el bagel relleno aplicaciones de esta lugar probablemente han sentado allí más de eso. Me tomó dos bocados y lo tiró.

Este lugar es una salvación para una noche recogida. Brillantes bagels y carnes de calidad - tíos encantadoras que dirige el lugar que dan servicio extra rápido. Recomiendo el bagel de pollo asado - 3 libras por una delicia llena de pollo picante perfectamente cocinado.
