Disappointed quite often go here but standards have slipped. Chips looked and tasted as if they were cooked in dirty oil. Donner meat not the best either.

Best fish & chips around. Generous portions. Excellent crispy, slightly battered chips. We've been customers for years, and the staff have always been friendly and polite.

They never wash their hands, even after going to the toilet... I've seen them put their hands down their trousers, then serve!!

Me and colleague decided to try a pizza from here. It looked busy, a mix of age groups ordering so worth a go. The service is awful. The feel is dirty. The youngsters stood outside smoking (I am not old myself!) right by the door and it going all over this lovely elderly couple made me feel sick. Ordered the pizzas. We were told it would take 20 minutes, seemed OK to us. After 20 minutes 3 pizzas were left out of the side, not being kept warm. I then heard them say has the pepperoni pizza been done, they said yes, it's on the side. It wasn't as I knew it was other topping pizzas. Eventually after 45 minutes I saw 4 people who ordered after us get their order so I asked where the pizzas were. The main person in the shop said the meat feast was ready and pointed but the pepperoni would be 5 minutes. What he meant was, one on the 3 pizzas left out in the cold was the meat feast and the pepperoni hadn't been started. I said, politely, that the meat feast would be cold and not acceptable, the staff member then muttered under, I did say it would be 20 minutes, this is unacceptable service. He lied and then proceeded to mock us. The pepperoni was made and followed shortly after, approx. 50 minutes in total. Got back, the plastic cheese, awful topping quality and sauce quality was to say nicely, disgusting. We both said soon after we needed a lot of water to counteract the salt content also. Youngsters, there is better food in Albrighton, for everyone else, don't risk it, you will be disappointed. And the staff are rude

We arrived after promptly walking from patsull where we enjoyed a pleasent afternoon of friendly golf, after battling through the snow storm we were eagerly wanting to settle down for the evening with some hearty pizza. However, when we arrived, we were surprised to find a que extending across the road which in my opinion is a serious health and safely risk. After waiting in heavy snow for almost an hour we finally made inside it inside the shambled establishment, who were clearly incapable and clearly not enjoying their role of providing public services to hungry passersby. I would strongly suggest that the management of this so called fish and chip shop, seriously get your business under control. Let to even go into the quality of the food. Complete shambles, however in all fairness the weather had a part to play in this mayhem.

The food here is absolutely gorgeous. Their chips are to die for. They also use just eat but here is where Rumbles lose 2 stars. If you go to the shop and fetch the food you won't be disappointed, but please don't expect a good service from their delivery. They really are bad with their deliveries and should just stop delivering because it is obvious that they don't care about the deliveries. Sometimes you'll wait an hour for cold food. Awful. Just Eat should stop them from using the Just Eat service. When you question them about it they really don't care. I guess because you're not fave to face its a case of out of sight, out of mind. The food is great, just don't use their delivery service. Shocking.

We have had a take away from here on a few occasions when visiting family. They serve lightly battered chips which are very nice however I do agree with a previous review that sometimes you do get a greasy taste in your mouth no different I suppose than eating fish batter. Talking about fish they are very large not cut right down like some fish shops do. They also do all the other normal stuff like pies, sausages batered or not etc however they also serve fried chicken similar to KFC, pizza's, donnar kebabs and shesh kebabs with all the salads and sauces. The takeaway menu is extensive really and there is a small table and chairs inside to eat in or more than likely sit and wait for your order to come. You can order through just eat or they take telephone orders and will deliver just ask for it 30 mins before you want it lol Overall besides the wait they do get very busy at times and that won't put me off using them again. We generally enjoy fish and chips etc from Rumbles just remember communication is everything :-)

I placed an order this evening with this chip shop. I gave the lady my order and she read it back to me. When this order arrived it was wrong. My husband phoned the chip shop and he read the correct order back to him. The lady called back in 10 minutes called me a liar and said we could not have a refund. I decided to then take my daughter who was poorly to sort this issue out. Upon arrival she was very rude to me in front of customers, telling me I called her a liar. I never said that; she could of heard me wrong or written it down wrong. The lady then wanted to show me the order and said I am sure that you will be able to read/ understand English. I was taken aback by this comment. My order could not be found. The gentlemen then said that he did not read the correct order out to him on the phone. We did get a full refund in the end. Sure to say we will not be using this place again and just to warn people of the attitude of the staff.

Ordered 2 lamb kebabs tonight.. asked for the meat to be lightly cooked (rare) as we like it juicy and the person serving said okay ... lovely big chunks of meat put onto the griddle but we got got chunks of charcoal ! The lumps had been cut into 2 or 3 strips as it was cooked and was just terrible. Dry, tough and tasteless (not even griddle flavour). Most of it went in the bin as even our dog turned up his nose to it ! The chips looked fabulous, were crispy but left a horrible greasy feeling in the mouth after eating. Sorry but we will never visit again.

Need I say more? Battered chips from this place are brilliant and you get the usual array of choices, from pizza to kebabs to fish. In truth, it's all great. Service is friendly, prices are reasonable and the food is spot on. It'll hit the spot for you, no doubt.

When planning Days Out we almost always seek to find a 'local' fish & chip shop on the way home to avoid having to prepare anything ourselves after a family day out. Sometimes we are delighted other times distressed by the quality of out choice. NOT SO with Rumbles Fish Bar in Albrighton. Three generations aged from 8 to 80+ following a day out at the Cosford RAF Museum called in to Rumbles and enjoyed the 'best' fish and chips we have encountered for a very long time. Cooked in front of us, the fish was tasty, crispy and exceedingly fresh while the chips too were firm and as succulent as you could wish for. Well done Rumbles! Our choice from afar (our family group coming Cheshire & Cambridgeshire respectively) on 1st August 2016 were not disappointed in any way and our thanks too to the staff - you served us well!

I prefers rumbles to the other fish and chip place and the other pizza place. Friendly staff, tasty food, decent pricing.

When you expect the best you do not always receive it! Here at Rumbles the very best was experienced. Freshly cooked in front of us we had excellent portions of very fresh fish - cod in this instance - and wonderfully prepared chips all piping hot and well presented in order for 3 generations to enjoy their choices - all 7 of us aged from 8 to 80+. Coming from far and wide we needed to have an excellent value for money 'take away' following a day out at the RAF Cosford Museum to eat on the premises before setting off on lengthy journeys. Wow - did we enjoy it! CRISPY BATTER AND FIRM CHIPS NO EXCESSIVE fat but wonderfully fresh and hot with a smidgen of salt and vinegar all prepared in front of our very eyes. Widely experienced fish & chip aficionados from the North of England and East Anglia we can vouch for a 100% recommendation - if you are in the region of Albrighton! The locals are lucky!
