The best restaurants in Dawlish Central and North East Teignbridge South West

Called on the off chance they’d have a table for 2 available and so pleased they had. Their menu looks amazing. My eyes were literally popping out at the range of cakes on display in the chiller cabinet. Very hard decision but went for the warm plum frangipane tart with ice cream. Good sized portion and absolutely delicious! Coffee very nice too. Wish we were staying near Dawlish for longer so I could sample everything in that cabinet, and on the menu!

Absolutely 5⭐️ Such a lovely local business, always a friendly welcome from the staff and owners and it’s clear to see how much hard work and passion they put into their work! Love this place 💕 cannot recommend enough!

So popped in here and was going to opt for a traditional breakfast but instead went for a cheese and ham omelette and it was lovely nice and fluffy and full of flavour, will definitely be paying another visit...

We booked a delivery of one Gentleman’s paella (fish, shell off) for 6 and one Chicken & Chorizo for 3. They were delivered to our home, piping hot in the paella pans with complementary aioli. They were both absolutely delicious and made an excellent, no hassle meal to celebrate Dad’s birthday with family and friends. Great value and they will collect the pans later in the week. Would highly recommend.

Lovely place for little ones to visit

Amazing vegetarian breakfast! Everything cooked to perfection and no dodgy veggie sausages either … good quality cauldron brand.

Our sandwiches were very generously filled and as such, good value. We had a spiced apple cake which was amazing. The old mill gears and machinery were very interesting and the owner started up the outside water wheel for us to see. Second visit; service had mistakes, good was still good.

Atmospheric pub with an eclectic mix of seafarering niknaks. Extensive mussels menu as well as a reasonable choice of food. Friendly attentive staff. Dog friendly. Parking very limited.

Popped in on Monday afternoon. One cappuccino, one hot chocolate, a chocolate brownie, a slice of lemon cake, and a packet of pork scratchings. Lovely drinks, and food was excellent. Thank you.
