I am so glad that we found this hidden gem! I have been a celiac for nearly 20 years and do struggle to find dessert places ... I had a gluten free waffle which was absolutely incredible! And the ice cream flavours are just out of this world - and the fact that they home make them makes them so unique! The staff were absolutely so knowledgeable and super aware of cross contamination - they are super friendly too! Thank you for an awesome experience!

Simply the best gelaterio in Devon. Excellent choice of flavours and quality easily the best we've experienced. The chocolate sorbet was an absolute sensation.

Such a lovely little place. Situated in Dawlish, this is a must do if you want something a little different than your usual Seaside Ice-Cream. We had the waffles as the pictures will show, they were delicious. Staff are very friendly. We didn’t have a dog with us, but well behaved dogs were welcomed and they even have special Ice-Cream for them too. You will not be disappointed. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Delicious! Visited twice while on holiday. The ice creams are all super luxurious and flavorful. They also have sorbet which is Delicious and refreshing. We had a variety - some in pots, a dairy free chocolate waffle cone and some dairy free waffles. It's nice to go somewhere that has a variety of dairy free options (my youngest has CMPA). For our visits, we paid between £15 and £24 for a family of 4.

Wow! What beautiful icecream…if you’re in the area I’d encourage you to try it….so many amazing favours to choose from. Tried it out at Dawlish food festival today….luckily we are local and will 100% be returning to see you in your shop. I must also add that service was with a smile, lovely chap, clearly passionate about his product.

This was the nicest honeycomb I've cream I've ever had! We had a stand at the Devon County Show and were recommended this ice cream. So many flavours, different cones, sauces etc. Great service too. I'll have to pop to Dawlish for my next hit.

Absolutely incredible me and my wife and son often pop in for ice cream but we thought we would treat ourselves as it was a Saturday night and have a try of there waffles I would highly recommend they are so delicious

Delicious ice cream, unique and seasonal flavours. Dog friendly so can sit inside on rainy days. Will definitely visit again.

The BEST place for Ice Cream in South Devon!!!! Can't believe took us so long to find this jewel in South Devon's Crown!! A different flavour every time we visit, special breakfast flavour weekends, always a flavour or everyone. In my daughters words, they aren't stingy with portion size either. So welcoming, friendly, helpful and super knowledgeable. Have recommended to everyone we know. Surprised our children with Clive the Caterpiller in place of a birthday cake and Jack and Emma made this so easy for us and in the kids words "THE BEST cake they've ever had!!"

Messaged The Local Scoop via Facebook messenger after stumbling across it following a Google search for gluten free ice cream in Dawlish. They were quick to respond and assured us that they did indeed stock gluten free ice cream cones, we were delighted! We arrived in the shop and made our orders - after my partner and youngest daughter ordered we were informed that they'd run out of gluten free cones..... Disaster!! My eldest was devastated (she often has to miss out due to having Coeliac disease). The very kind lady saw that my daughter was upset and offered free toppings!! Which absolutely thrilled her and rectified the cone situation entirely. We sat outside the shop and devoured our ice creams in near silence, we had tried six different flavours between us with various toppings and it was the best ice cream we'd ever eaten!! The staff were very knowledgeable and informed us which of the ice creams were suitable when making our order and routinely cleaned the ice cream scoops. A successful visit and I definitely recommend if you're after great quality, delicious ice-cream.
