Lovely friendly cafe breakfast go there again soon and main meals were excellent had a few visits while down on holiday.

Fantastic home- cooked food and brilliant service. A very homely feel, food that’s reliably great and not too expensive. A friendly face for the older generation, some which may be lonely looking for someone to chat to which the staff make feel very welcome, which is heartwarming to see and I’m sure they appreciate . Made a trip to Teignmouth, and found the Pantry cafe, had 2 americanised, a bacon sandwich, and a toasted teacake. A very popular place. I can understand why! Will visit again, soon.

We went to The Pantry Coffee Shop & Cafe at midday after finding that they served all day breakfast. We had the Pantry breakfast, absolutely delicious, served really hot and presented well. The staff were fantastic, a really happy, welcoming bunch of ladies, nothing was too much trouble. The toilet was spotless and well decorated, we don’t often find that even in a good restaurant. Will definitely be going back.

If you are looking for a superb place to eat and drink you will never find a happier place. The Staff are so funny and friendly its more like a comedy club. Food is excellent and a good price. Highly recommended.

Delicious food and lovely service! Very friendly staff, the menu was very varied. Between us we had the fresh crab sandwiches, tuna panini and fish finger sandwich. Would recommend!

Authentic full English breakfast, deliciousness!

This is a great little place. The first good point is that it's easily wheelchair accessible by a cute little ramp/bridge. The decor is really cute the big spider boi by the toilet, is cute and he doesn't eat your food. Onto to the food the larder breakfast is flawless the ingredients are high quality and it shows. The coffee is really good too. All in all it was perfect and the staff are very jolly and helpful.

Lovely place. We had panini’s and they were very tasteful. Good music not too loud. Dog was welcome and received a treat. Very friendly staff. Absolutely excellent spot for lunch.

Lovely little independent cafe. Coffee was fantastic, locally roasted, lovingly made. Staff were incredibly courteous and welcoming. And the place was heaving, so we're clearly not the only ones who think that!

Only ordered an oat-milk flat white, but was very good, and friendly staff!

I frequent this cafe every week and I can't fault it in anyway. I have read some other reviews and one said the portions were small. I can only think he was like Mr Creosote, from the Monty Python sketch, where no amount of food would be enough. Another complained about the hand sanitizers on the tables and the signs about Covid. They probably are unaware that Covid is on the increase again. Some people just like to complain.

Very average coffee, poorly made. Unwelcome hand sanitiser on each table. Covid 19 signs unnecessary these days. Great that they prefer cash. Keep using cash!

What wonderful friendly table service. So impressed by my breakfast of scrambled eggs and salmon. Best cup of tea and even a small dish to put the used tea bag in. Attention to every detail. Certainly would recommend visiting here.

I come to this place every chance I get. The atmosphere is brilliant because the staff are fantastic. Food is excellent prepared by Simon, the owner. He will always stop and chat if not too busy. Very popular venue. Come along for a laugh and a giggled lovely food and non alcoholic drinks.

Called in here for some lunch whilst visiting Teignmouth. You can eat inside or tables outside. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Choice of main meals or light bites. We has 2 sausage and egg sandwiches on fantastic granary bread, they were delicious. The prices were very reasonable as well. Would certainly go there again.

Visited this cafe twice both times for breakfast. The staff were warm & friendly & it had a very community feel but very welcoming to visitors alike. Food was delicious and warm & plentiful. We had our dog with us also made to feel very welcome & even had a sausage! Would definitely recommend this as a wonderful place to eat.

Been to this coffee shop a couple of times now, the breakfast I had was very good value and excellently cooked and served, the staff were friendly and helpful, could not fault it, we will definitely return

Breakfasts here are always of the highest quality. They are currently doing specials that are very good value and just the right size for a light lunch. Less than £7 for cottage pie and a cup of coffee is a bargain in these times. Staff are a friendly, happy group.

Lovely cafe with friendly attentive staff and well priced food. Called in on a cold March day and so glad we found this gem in the town. We had a winter warmer special that was hot and tasty. Will be visiting again in July when we come back to the area on holiday. Well recommended for a visit.

What a great little family run cafe, nothing too much trouble for them. Wished we lived closer so it could be our regular stop. We had breakfast which was delicious and reasonably priced. Hopefully not too long until our next visit.

Decided to call in as working in the area again, sadly haven’t been for many years. Glad to see a small business is still under the same ownership and wasn’t disappointed with my breakfast and cuppa. Well recommended and hope not to leave it so long before returning. Keep up the good work!!

Portion size is not even enough for a child . Never go here for lunch .. Plenty of proper cafes in the area where you wont leave more hungry than when you entered . Proper bad

Fantastic little cafe with fresh and tasty food. We had fish finger sandwiches and the bread was as if it's just been taken out of the oven! Had to try some cake as well, again really good quality. Friendly and attentive staff, even though extremely busy. We'll be back for sure 😁

Visiting the area from Hull this week and myself + wife and daughter had food here today. We all really enjoyed. The food was really good my only regret was not paying the extra for the bigger breakfast as it was yummy. Everyone working there was also very friendly cheers all. If we are ever down this way again we will be visiting for more 😀

Owned and run by Simon. His welcome and cooking skills are not to be missed. With so many coffee chains in the area it's really great to have the personal attention and good food from a small independent one.Its in one of the popular shopping lanes in the town and so great for a sit down either inside or out.

As we live about 7 miles away, we often go into Teignmouth and always visit The Pantry either for coffee and toast or lunch, it's always excellent and the owner and the other staff are very helpful and friendly. It's always clean and fresh, and the other regular customers are nice as well.

I am sorry I have not reviewed this place before, however, I did not know the name of the café until I saw a photo of me with the name above. I was feeling hot and wanted a cold drink, however, Costa did have any diet coke a cola, so my husband walked and over to the Pantry for icy cold drink. We arrived and there was a few people having cream teas and cakes which looked good, but we were going back to the Cliffden Hotel for dinner in an hour, so we just had a drink, which was reasonable and the man who must of been the owner was friendly and helpful to his customers. it was all wooden but a nice place to be when on holiday or somebody living in the local area. If we visit Teignmouth again next year we will come along for a meal next time and try your lovely cream teas?

After a little walk decided to have some lunch and found this place by accident but what a lucky find. Sandwiches were so fresh the bread first class. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Another visit is a must.

WOW!the food is amazing and a great price

This place is awesome, can't resist going back over and over again!

We stopped for lunch our party was 4 adults 2 kids 1 dog. We were looking for somewhere to eat that was reasonable in price.I had a Bacon Baguette the bacon had been grilled excellent my son had a full English breakfast again grilled no grease my wife had the clotted cream tea. The food was really good if I lived in Teignmouth this would be my regular cafe.

Stopped in for a quick bite with the daughter and left quite happy. While my daughter wasn't a fan of the sausage roll I found it very flavourful and one of the nicer rolls I've tried. I had just a bacon sandwich on white and it really hit the spot. Bacon cooked quite nice and the bread was very fresh. Server's were polite and prompt. All in all a great experience here. I should add that upon seeing my daughter the server was quick to offer colouring book and crayons.

Always a pleasure to visit, this lovely little cafe in Teignmouth. Tasty bacon sandwiches and a latte, thoroughly enjoyed. Always a very warm welcome, already looking forward to my next visit.
