Lovely place and absolutely the nicest and freshest scones I’ve ever had (and believe me I’ve had A LOT!!!!) We will definitely visit again the next time we’re in Ilfracombe.

Very tasty ice-cream, friendly service and great location. Seemed the more popular ice cream place nearby, which is q good sign. Not particularly cheap, but no where is nowadays. Definitely recommend

Amazing Christmas themed drinks.as described on the menu, friendly staff and amazing conversation. Couldn't have expected anything better. The cafe was beautifuly decorated with Christmas decorations, very on theme and getting everyone in the Christmas spirit!

Crab chips were amazing, unexpectedly good.

Jaime opened the cafe so that we had somewhere to host a birthday party after a coasteering trip with Nick Thorne. The hot chocolates were just what a group of kids needed after being in the sea for 2 hours, and the pizzas and dough balls went down a storm. Jaime even made the birthday cake, which was spectacular! All the staff were great. Best party ever, thank you.

came here for breaky with the family (8 of us) while away for the weekend. the staff were really friendly and welcoming. the food was amazing and great value for money. the cafe is a cool little place, would definitely come here again!

New cafe in town so just had to try it, I wasn't disappointed, best breakfast I've had in a very long time. 2 bacon, 2 sausages, 2 eggs, mushrooms, tomatoe, fried bread, beans and toast plus coffee or tea for just £9.95! Top quality bacon and sausages and the coffee they serve free with breakfast is absolutely fantastic. Thoroughly reccomended.

The food was amazing! This is a husband and wife team who know how to make a dining experience not just good but amazing. The service was impressive and was helpful in helping to choose the dishes as her knowledge was spot on. The husband came up trumps with the food served. My fish was cooked to perfection as was my husbands Venison. They say good things come in small packages and this is certainly true with The Antidote. A real gem in Ilfracombe, I wish they were located in my home town.

Booked carvery in the morning by phone, great price. Just 5 minutes walk from our apartment. Very welcoming staff, reserved table by window. Good space between tables. Good atmosphere. Beautiful carvery, lovely meat, lots of choice of vegetables and sauces, large Yorkshire pudding. Would highly recommend.

Literally just left this shop they're polite prices are good but the food sheeesh that's amazing 100% would go back perfect 👌

We moved to Ilfracombe last year and visited this restaurant for the first time when we had friends staying as several locals and neighbours had recommended it. The food was fabulous and excellent value for money. We had a great bottle of wine at a good price. The staff were friendly and welcoming and we will definitely be back.
