The Hollist Arms

Easebourne, Chichester, 30-45£
09/11/2018: We received a friendly welcome from the barmaid/waitress at this charming village pub, recently upgraded under new ownership (also own Noah's Ark); it strikes the right balance between pub and restaurant. Farrow and Ball type decor with old pine tables, pictures and succulents in small vases. An attractive, tempting menu delivered tasty enjoyable plates of food and the peppercorn sauce which accompanied the chicken Milanaise (in panko crumbs) was the best sauce I have ever had. Well done, Chef! The black bean, chorizo and jalapeno croquettes' first course was a large portion and for my taste should have been spicier as they lacked any punch. Also a fresh salsa might have been better than mayonnaise to accompany the rich croquettes. However, it was a good starter for a hungry walker. Crispy shredded beef salad was well presented, attractive and tasty. Good selection of wines and beers, and draught cider excellent. Nice, relaxed atmosphere with daily newspapers to read and there are several areas in which to sit. There are various deals on different days ie Tues: pie and pint £14 and one Weds a month: 2 course lunch with 125cl glass wine £15. We shall certainly go again; next time I'd love to see a couple of more slimming options on the menu which doesn't include any deep fat frying. Do pop into the well-stocked Lodsworth Larder, the village shop run by volunteers next door too and have a walk at nearby Black Down.
27/10/2018: A magical find, and worth the drive. Simply one of the best hidden gems around. Warm welcome from all the staff, beautiful yet cosy interior, especially with the welcoming log fires! Exceptional food and service. If you like the Noah’s Ark in Lurgashall, then its sister pub you will absolutely love.

The Lickfold Inn

Easebourne, Chichester, 30-45£
09/11/2018: Quality service and excellent food in a smart country pub. It was not too expensive, and I expected the bill to be much higher for the standard of everything, which was very high. Well done Lickfold Inn.
22/10/2018: We visited for a Saturday lunch time, on the off chance we grab a lunch.

Halfway Bridge Inn

Easebourne, Chichester, >100£
09/11/2018: We used to visit the Halfway Bridge on a regular basis a few years ago; however, after a few mixed experiences with poor quality food and very slow service we stopped going. For some while it was noticeable when we drove past how there were apparently less cars in the car park than previously. Having noticed the car park getting busier (often a good indicator of popularity!) we’ve returned a couple of times over the last few months.....
28/09/2018: As a group of friends staying locally, we tried this out for our saturday evening meal. We were not disappointed.

The Banyan

Easebourne, Chichester
11/11/2018: Tasteful decor, tables are not crammed together which made a pleasant change. The menu is not your typical ‘curry house’ menu, but there is something for everyone. The food is as well presented as it is tasty. An absolute pleasure! The only downside is that we don’t live close enough to go every week! This place is definitely worth a visit.
27/10/2018: Delicious authentic Indian curries and our dietary needs were catered for. Quite quiet on the week night we went but nice atmosphere.

Duke of Cumberland

Easebourne, Chichester
02/11/2018: Had heard so much about this pub so chose to try it out for a birthday dinner with friends.
30/10/2018: Excellent food, friendly and accommodating staff and a lovely setting with beautiful views and gardens. What more could you ask?

Cowdray Farm Shop & Cafe

Easebourne, Chichester, <20£
07/11/2018: We attended the Farm Shop for a Seedlip Tasting - wonderful product btw. Wonderful products on sale, the Deli Counter offers a large selection of artisan cheeses and charcuterie. The highlight of the afternoon was a truly scrumptious cream tea. Fresh warm scones, clotted cream and jam with lashings of hot tea. It was busy, and noisy, and we had to share a table (there was also a queue) but, you certainly can't fault the food - or the service!
05/11/2018: My first visit to this lovely cafe in Midhurst......had a simply delicious meal of wild mushrooms with risotto. Definitely recommend this cafe and the superb farm shop next to it.

The White Horse

Easebourne, Chichester, 20-30£
18/10/2018: Hearty Cooked food and sandwich selection, good beer and wine. Friendly and helpful service. Always busy when we went. would recommend as a countryside pub experience. Reasonably priced.
16/10/2018: The White Horse is a lovely family owned pub in Easebourne. The staff are very friendly and efficient and you can be assured of a warm welcome. There are some great wines and a good menu, which changes on a regular basis and includes a Specials Board. Worth visiting.

The Three Moles

Easebourne, Chichester, <20£
21/10/2018: Went with friends for a Sunday roast, we had booked in advanced as advised and well worth it, proper home cooked food delicious and apple crumble to die for. A proper traditional village pub, very friendly staff and a great atmosphere.
08/10/2018: Without a doubt the best pub in the area for Sunday Roasts. All the trimmings at a very decent price and friendly landlords to have a good ol chinwag with. I don’t usually write reviews of pubs I visit, but the Roasts here are defiantly worthy of one. Try it for yourself...yummmmmmmmyyyyyyy
