The Hollist Arms

Easebourne, Chichester, 30-45£
17/06/2018: Very enjoyable Wednesday lunch, the battered pollock was excellent (very high fish:batter ratio), the usual delicious ales (Tim Taylor's Landlord, Dark Star Hophead amongst others). Very attentive staff, don't be put off by the manageress' rather effusive ""yes my darling?" How about you my lovely?"...
15/06/2018: We arrived at 5.25, only to find the hostel closed. By 5.30, when it opened, we were fifth in line to be served! Well worth the wait.

The Banyan

Easebourne, Chichester
04/05/2018: Been coming here last 3 weeks prices go up every time think there over priced now will be last time come shame as is pritty good food but doesn't justify price rise
15/04/2018: I staged my 70th birthday party at the Banyan in mid-March. From the web-site (under "Events") I found a choice of 3 menus for private parties and the information that they can seat up to 50 people (there were 46 of us) and cater for more than that buffet-style.

The Lickfold Inn

Easebourne, Chichester, 30-45£
19/06/2018: Excellent friendly attentive service without being intrusive. Food excellent as was the wine by the glass (guess who was driving). Really impressed. Special occasion rather that everyday pub grub! We will go again and soon - just got to find any old excuse.
16/06/2018: 3rd visit here in as many years. Food generally excellent. Starters of pea and mint soup accompanied by an almond gazpacho (not sure why) were excellent, as was the gin marinated salmon, and the outstanding beef tartare, with "Lickfold BIts". One of us had oysters, he did not want them cooked, so they kindly suggested a dish with 6 raw oysters with accompaniments.

The Three Moles

Easebourne, Chichester, <20£
17/06/2018: Tremendous Sunday lunch in March (they get a chef in on Sundays), always interesting to see what new real ales are on, a credit to the work (and cash) new managers Tom and Ollie have put in. Looking forward to the beer festival on June...
09/06/2018: Our first visit but not the last a cracking little pub with a newly refurbished beer garden right off the beaten track very friendly landlords serving good pub grub 4 bitters on draft well worth a visit

Halfway Bridge Inn

Easebourne, Chichester, >100£
18/06/2018: Having done a glorious walk from Midhurst through some beautiful West Sussex farmland this road side pub was a terrific find. We have already eaten at, and enjoyed, several local pubs but fancied doing some research on somewhere new. It would appear this part of...
15/06/2018: We also stayed at the Halfway Bridge. The menu. although limited, was excellent. Enough choices to make a stay of 4 nights more than memorable.

Duke of Cumberland

Easebourne, Chichester
18/06/2018: Wow, I wish this was my local, I would be broke though. Meal was excellent, staff were excellent once we were seated. Only blip was we were served drinks when arrived but not shown through to our table but left in the bar. We would come again. It was very tempting to sit outside after the meal as there was a lovely fire going.
13/06/2018: By far the best pub we have ever been to or will go to!

Cowdray Farm Shop & Cafe

Easebourne, Chichester, <20£
14/05/2018: Too up itself for its own good, staff looked at me like I was worthless. Was not impressed at all, queue times for a table inside are ridiculous, honestly don’t know how you can run a business so poorly. Very disappointed. Will not be going...
13/05/2018: This was an unexpected pleasure. There’s plenty of parking here and a lovely farm shop attached. It was a rustic style cafe with friendly staff. I didn’t find too much on the menu of interest ( but lots for vegans!) so we both settled for...

The White Horse

Easebourne, Chichester, 20-30£
19/06/2018: A proper unspoilt pub with a relaxed, friendly vibe and excellent food. We hope they don't change anything!
17/05/2018: Just had lunch in The White Horse and enjoyed a taste of Spain with the glorious sunshine and the most delicious Paella to be found in England ! A great little pub with a young and friendly staff . Certainly worth a visit .
