Stunning views. Friendly club. Brilliant. New path ways nearly finished. Bunker refurb looks great. Another visit and the course is in great condition.

We had breakfast yesterday at the club. Beautiful setting overlooking the course and over to the estate and castle ruins. There was only 1 lady serving, but she was brilliant. Proffessional, friendly and attentive. Highly recommend

Cowdray Park G C is must for all keen golfers, excellent course in great condition.

Course was in superb condition, such lovely views too. We had a friendly welcome and an enjoyable day.

Played here in late May with group of friends for annual golf competition. Course was in fantastic condition. Fairways, greens and bunkers all maintained to an excellent standard. Although the course isn’t overly long (circa 6000 yards) it’s challenging with some narrow fairways, unforgiving rough and quick greens. Staff were friendly and helpful. Afterwards there is a great bar and terrace for your post round pint. Well worth a trip!

yesterday our society played Cowdray for the first time and I can’t recommend this highly enough as a golf day for societies. The staff were excellent so welcoming. Special mention to Shaun who was on the ball with helping us book the society needs. The views from the course were stunning.

Great Sunday lunch carvery. Choice of two meats plus veg option. The meat was nicely cooked and the portions generous. All sides were really good and excellent Yorkshire puddings and gravy as well. Small dessert menu but what we had was delicious. Very friendly staff.

My first Sunday Carvery lunch, at Cowdray. Greeting by friendly, helpful staff. Nicely decorated Bar & separate luncheon room with good quality soft furnishings, paintings and had a calm atmosphere. The chief carved the meat , good selection of vegetables. Waitress service for drinks and pudding.

What a great golf course with the amount of rain over the last few weeks I was surprised how dry the course was. With long sweeping fairways top quality greens, It has everything for the low & high handicap players, All the staff were very polite and helpful, As a guest it would be helpful to have a sign post from the 16th to the 17th tee ?, in the failing light it was a bit difficult to navigate to the 17th tee. That being said I would highly recommend this Golf course 10 / 10

Best course in West Sussex in my opinion

After arriving and asking some information about the course write up by the bar it was followed with the reply of “what makes you a pro?” From what I can only assume is the bar manager. Very rude. After checking in for our golf reservation we were not told about any other work taking place on the course apart from the obvious work outside the clubhouse. This was not the case. On numerous holes on the front 9 there were loud distracting engines all situated by tee boxes. Also weren’t informed of a temporary green on 18 and that there would be a golf society in front of us. But we were pushed to tee of earlier upon check in. After a long week, this was my afternoon to unwind. To be honest it really wasn’t worth the £35.00 to play here today. I won’t be returning to play here. Another helpful tip would be to add course status to your website to tell customers what playing conditions are and any restrictions on the course.

I played Cowdray yesterday for the first time. Firstly all the staff at the club are very welcoming and helpful. The starter for the day was a lovely old gentleman and passed on plenty of helpful tips. The halfway hut was great and open all day The courses was in fantastic condition and they have some of the best greens I have ever played on. I would say it’s a must play course and I’ll definitely be back soon.

Amazing golf course with challenging holes and greens, it is a real test of golf. The area and views from the course are amazing. I would treat yourself to a buggy or trolley as it is hilly, I really enjoyed the course and club house and would definitely return and play again in the future, one of the best courses I have had the pleasure to play at. Add it to your list, given how pretty the setting is you may want to consider staying close by and exploring the area, polo fields and abbey.

Brunch on the terrace at Cowdray golf club is almost as good as it gets: a spectacular setting, great service and exceptionally good value for money!

Very good venue for a private function, such as special celebration or funeral wake. Excellent food and liquid refreshment provided by good attentive staff. Have been to several functions there over the years

Course in fantastic condition. Physically demanding but a great course to play. Clubhouse staff were very good.

Dropped by mid-week afternoon to kill a few hours. Pro-shop staff welcoming and without prompting gave good advice where to find things. Some challenging slopes on the greens. Really had to think about club selection off the tees, whether to hit big over the poles in the middle of the some fairways or play safe! Straightforward par 3s good for birdies. Just needs a nice loch/lake like the Pearson family's other course in Scotland :-) Super views of the South Downs and a Polo match ongoing with Cowdary heritage ruins as a back drop.Can be a good workout for a brisk walk, up and down the hills and to keep up with a friendly group of youngsters in a buggy in front...'showing the way'. Was a hot sunny day!

To many yuppies here, if you like being stuck up and all that. you mite want to treat some council estate kids to come and play free of charge, only if you want ?

Super course in good condition. Very hilly in places - buggy recommended. Good selection of holes many very challenging uphill to elevated greens. Good test.

A very welcoming golf club, the food at both breakfast and dinner was excellent, the best we have had this golfing year, 9th out if 10 golf days. In addition to a very well presented golf course all the staff we met were really welcoming. A golf course not go be missed a 5 star experience.

£60.00 for a round...bit pricey. However I think it is well worth it. Tee boxes well maintained, fairways in pristine conditions and good ondulated, with good speed, greens. Prices at the bar for food and drinks are very reasonable.

Great golf course, stayed in the lodge that are very presentable. Breakfast is a must and then followed by a great game of golf washed down with a beer in the club house. Very enjoyable!

Didn't play golf, came for a wedding reception. Love to play golf here. Beautiful. Reception food okay, but nothing special, much of it overcooked. Shame. I had heard it was good.

My society played here 36 holes on 20 July. With breakfast and lunch. 27 of us. Welcome, breakfast, staff, golf starter, lunch and the 36 holes of golf could only be described as perfect, perfect and perfection. If there is a better quality course itself, in Sussex, tell me, I've yet to come across it. Magnificent. The whole day, and by the by I came last so I'm not talking from a winners view. Tony Perrin.

A beautiful setting. Rolling hills,gentle slopes,magnificent views over miles and the Cowdray castle.Oak trees that were already old during Henry the VIII reign.But back to the course.The first few wholes will overpower you and make you shy in your game.Narrow,slopy,with trees and knee high rough not far away. Don't let that feeling impeach you from playing the way you normally play and you smile will come back and your will stop looking balls and start enjoying the undulating fairways and greens. Impeccably kept. A warm and friendly welcome and goodbye at the club house will leave you with the feeling to want to go back.

Played the Seniors Open here. Course was in excellent condition. Lovely clubhouse and great food. Been playing this course on and off for over 30 years and this was the best I remember it.

Stayed here for one night when attending a wedding in the next village along. Well appointed room, modern and clean and staff very helpful prior to arrival on phone and email sorting our details. No-one around after hours and a little hard to actually find the lodge itself in the dark but overall a very comfortable stay. Fantastic buffet breakfast included in price.

Beautiful setting superb golf course and friendly staff

Set in the stunning grounds of Cowdray Park, went here on a society golf day, apparently we were the first to use the refurbished bar area. Very stylish it is too, although not sure how long the light coloured carpet will last! Course was ok but very wet, cant believe they allowed buggies! Excellent carvery, beer and service. Never played here before, would like to play it in the summer, would recommend the golf and the new bar is definitely worth a visit. Hope to be back soon!

Me and my fiance stopped in for lunch after a lovely walk around the grounds. What a great choice fabulous looking restaurant and club. attentive staff very tasty food. Even caught a chat with the chef who was very pleasant will definitely be returning

Only recently we found out that its open to the public. which is great. Just doing a refurbishment of the bar which we were aloud to have a sneaky look and it looks incredible. Had a couple of sandwiches and thay were amazing. Good value for money. Deffinetly will be comeing back again!

Stayed here for two nights for a weekend break of hiking. Had an absolutely lovely time. The room was small but well furnished, great bathroom. We were the only guests present for breakfast so had a great selection to choose from. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. The nearby village was also very pleasant. Would definitely recommend.

El campo me pareció impecable, el personal es increíblemente amable y servicial, y el día fue de lo más agradable. Lo invierta para este Club - Habiendo visitado hace unos años puedo decir cómo tiene mucho cambiado para mejor y sin duda regresaremos a menudo y con amigos. El Lodge ha sido renovado así, sin duda nos volveremos a alojar. Después de leer dos comentarios negativos en el Club estoy en una pérdida para entender el contexto y la duda la precisión de los comentarios hacia el director! Lo recomiendo este club, su personal y excelente ubicación. Servicio excepcional, gracias.

El 13 de junio fui en mi día anual de la sociedad de golf con mi padre. En años anteriores hemos sido a los gustos de Broadstone, del Ejército y de Goodwood pero Cowdray no decepcionó! Comenzó con rollos de café y tocino en el patio con vistas preciosas al otro lado de la Finca cowdray, servido por un personal muy amable y el gerente estaba allí para asegurarse de que todos estábamos contentos. El campo estaba en muy buenas condiciones con fantásticas greens ondulantes. El diseño es un reto, pero no con la excesiva duración de algunos de los campos más modernos. Cambio y las duchas eran de primera clase. Selección generosa de asados servidos en el comedor. Muchas gracias a todo el mundo en Golf cowdray.

Esta semana otras tres señoras y señoras entraron en su yo que estaba tan Abierto y bien dirigido con un campo tan precioso, nos inscribimos inmediatamente para su siguiente en octubre. Midhurst es una ciudad encantadora y el campo tiene unas vistas geniales y hoyos. Los alojamientos son excelentes para una estancia de una noche. Me he alojado en Cowdray y jugamos un par de veces, así que he experimentado prácticamente todo el paquete, el alojamiento, carritos eléctricos, amplio aparcamiento, una gran casa club, tienda de golf, vestuarios (gran duchas), restaurante y bar con TV mostrando el deporte). . . Ah, y el campo de golf que siempre es un placer jugar. El lugar tiene un acabado de alta calidad y el atento personal siempre he hecho mis viajes. . Desde el pro-shop a la mitad de la comida caliente y hut (copa) siempre hay alguien con una sonrisa y escuchar cortésmente a mi historia sobre cómo me hizo un águila.

He estado visitando Cowdray durante muchos años, el personal y los miembros de club () han sido siempre servicial, amable y acogedor. La tienda Pro es una pequeña tienda de miembros pro con un gerente de golf - que entendido hace lo imposible por ayudar a todo el mundo.El bar y el restaurante es típico de muchos miembros de campos, que no es una mala cosa! Fiable y abundante comida para conseguir que 18 hoyos y una buena pinta. Ah, y un gran medio camino! hutSí se podía ir y pagar 5 veces más en Goodwood o espinas antigua; pero la bienvenida y curso en Cowdray le harán perder su dinero. lamento

Lovely park and good enough for a private picnic ;)

When entering the pro shop with my 2 friends, I found the so called 'manager' standing on his phone, which I find highly unprofessional. He did not have his name badge on so I proceeded to say "excuse me sir", until he finally realised I was there and replied with a negative, condescending 'WHAT!'. I stood there in dismay at how someone could be so rude. This manager looked about 35 and I have a son around the same age and he would never ever speak to a women in such an oppressive way. Due, to wanting to get my nephew some golf outfits for his birthday, I decided to stay. Although, I never actually brought anything due to the manager's mannerism and it being clear to me he had no idea about what was going on that day let alone golf!!!

Stunning course with great drainage for winter Golf due to its location on the South Downs

This is a convenient spot for us to meet friends in West Sussex.It's a lot less packed than the Cowdray Cafe and still very nice to visit. Open to all - not just golfers. Lovely views and convenient for local walks ( not on golf course but towards Easebourne) and the fabulous Cowdray Estate. The Golf Club is found on the A272 outside Easebourne , you pass the Cowdray shop and Cafe ( also worth popping in) on your right and the Golf Club is shortly after on your left.
