Ordered online, phoned and checked order and they had a power cut so didn’t have my order. Didn’t ring to tell me this and told me to just refund it which I couldn’t do. Rang back and they said yeah they’re unable to refund it. Thankfully a lovely young boy took the order over the phone and sorted it but wouldn’t rush back as service was very poor.

Multiple flies were flying around the bread and store in general. Rude, inattentive staff, and a very messy sandwich. The extra star is for the decent food, but really nothing special, and difficult to eat when your meatballs are smashed together into bread.

Customer service really is appalling. I was actually quite shocked. Called in with my wife today for coffee. She ordered coffee, tea and two scones. When she asked for the scones to be heated, the lady taking the order (older lady with relatively short grey hair and glasses) visibly rolled her eyes and said out loud: 'for God's sake' 😂. Such a ridiculous response for a basic request. A colleague behind her actually overheard and stepped in saying it was no trouble. Not the type of experience you'd expect at M&S café, especially over such an innocuous request.

Located in one corner of Belfast's famous St. George's Market, The Belfast Bap Company floated through my Facebook feed a year or two ago. One of the travel bloggers was here and posted a video. I bookmarked it. And so with not a single other thing I had to visit in Belfast, I made my way here. A short queue where I got to watch an expert, grilling bacon, frying eggs, frying sausages. And then when it was my turn, I placed my order for the Breakfast Bap. It took about 10 minutes to be prepared and during that time, I was able to pop over to another vendor for a coffee. As expected, my bap was massive. Do people really eat all this? Two sausages, a STACK of bacon and a fried egg inside a perfect roll. I ate one of the sausages, the egg, a few pieces of the bacon (salty!) and the bap. There's enough food here for three! Delicious, friendly and I'm so glad I made the journey. Don't miss out!

2 girls stood behind till talking while 1 girl served 2 customers at a time. After 5 mins of them looking at me and then ignoring me I left as I didn't have time to wait on 1 person serving everyone. Won't be back
