Papa's Fish - Chips - Pizza - Treats in Antrim

Went in last night to order food place was spotless staff were friendly and the food was delicious and reasonably priced will definitely be back !

Wow. Stinking. Ordered tonight for the first time in a long time. Girl who delivered was pleasant and professional but the food was absolutely rotten. The chips were undercooked, the onion rings had so much batter half cooked it looked like dough balls with mashed potato in it and the burger was wet. The bap; soaking. Done with papa’s. Milking it now up there.

Got fish and chips but the batter on the fish was very doughy and didn't taste very nice

Such a bad experience, ordered dinner tonight and the order was wrong, plus selected no salt and vinegar on the app and it covered in vinegar. Such a waste of money and food it all went in the bin.

I don't normally leave reviews but this was really disappointing. Paid near £7 for chips and a pastie, I got 8 chips in total that I had to pick the paper off because they had stuck to the wrapping, and I couldn't eat the pastie because of the amount of salt they put on it. Was really bad. Ended up putting the oven on and making my own dinner at home. Staff were pretty rude too, pretty much just ignored you.

I loved how big the fish and the chips were enough to go around each member of my family, I couldn't get over how friendly and inviting the staff were the certainly showed great skills in teamwork and communication, I have to mention Darren in particular as he was the main person who made me feel welcome, always ready to put his skills on show and he did just that!!! I highly recommend people visit.

Ordered some garlic bread and hot chilli vegetarian pizza and taste was real and authentic. Their delivery service is really good. Thank you Papas for best pizza.

Called in for a cheese burger with onion and salsa , burger was not cooked threw did not get cheese , phoned to explain an they hung up , I would not advise to eat out of there as the food was near cold, disappointed with service

Avoid at all costs, used to be ok so I was giving them benefit of a doubt. However I won't be ordering from them again past few orders they haven't been able to get right at all, and stuff missing. Rude staff who clearly need training in customer service. Most recent order was clearly already cooked, gone cold and then chucked back into the fryer again you could break a window with the battered chicken, save yourself the bother of refrying it again because it was cold when we got it, the tins of juice were warmer.

Changing the name doesn’t change the fact it’s a terrible chip shop !! Never had a good experience

Amazing food! Stayed at my friends for the weekend and was in desperate need of a taco chip and a burger! Papas delivered so quickly and I was a little short on cash and the driver who was such a gentleman just said, 'don't worry, I got ya! You can sort me next time!' The belly buster is lush and the taco chip is unreal!

Shocking attitude towards a young teen tonight in the shop because he had dirty jeans after a days work. In a village with a large farming community you'd think a place would be more accepting. Threatened to ban him from the shop if he was dirty again. It's not like he was behind the counter cooking the food. To be honest though it's not the first time I've heard staff being rude to customers but it'll be the last

Hello?! @staff. If someone comes into your shop it is usually an indication they want to buy some food. Just in case you haven't worked that out yet 🤣

I rang, girl answered and told me "phone lines not working order through the app" and they hung up !! I rang back, and she did same thing again. So Rude.(I don't have the app). Seriously daft, I think they are working you just answered and spoke to me. Ordered from McIlroys instead.

Worst customer service I have ever had the displeasure of experiencing 🤢 the order clearly shows a garlic dip attached, there was no price beside the dip on the order , however, it is on the order , so you would think someone would maybe contact and ask was it meant to be on the order, right ?? No ! However they quickly rang me twice in a row ( 5 seconds between each call after not answering the first ) and gave off saying it wasn’t paid for on the order and that isn’t there problem after sending a driver back 😳 Even though the shop was” so busy so we should therefore allow for mistakes at the weekend “ ( explained by the driver .... however not busy enough to make 2 phone calls to tell me I received a garlic I didn’t pay for ) ....ALSO 21st December placed an order to pay on arrival that just didn’t show up ?? ... seemingly didn’t have the ability to make a phone call to me then either ??......Maybe learn some customer service skills before working in any customer service roll where you have to interact with people ??? this is one of the MANY issues , and COUNTLESS wrong orders with this place , and the same horrible attitude , rude , ignorant , clueless voice barking down the phone ...... not to mention the food quality has dropped drastically from this place has been changed .JOKE & safe to say will not be returning . #BRINGBACKMILANOS

Ordered the partner up meal, waited 1 hour for food, pizza was cold and under cooked, the garlic bread pizza came with no cheese I rang back to be argued with down the phone by the girl being told I have to ask for cheese. If she reads her menu she will see it says cheese garlic pread pizza. Chips all over cooked and cold. Complete waste of money, had this meal last week and it was fantastic and cooked perfectly, so clearly the boss must have been working that day. Will not be ordering again mcilroys will have to do

The food is generally good the deserts are great I know people who only go there for the deserts.

Still have a chemical taste in my mouth after eating a pizza, and thats not the 1st time. Every pizza is undercooked and god knows what chemicals are in it. Garlic dips are like water and more often than not your order will have stuff missing, the worst takeaway in BT29 by a countrymile, the only positives are the sound delivery drivers and the drinks. Dreadful standards.

Great food but check your order as sometimes stuff is missing or wrong.

Literally the worst fish & chips I've ever had. Undercooked batter on fish, chips undercooked. Inedible. staff all carrying on & not concentrating on their jobs. For a new business the standards are staggeringly low. I'll never be back.
