The best restaurants serving Default food in Strensall York Yorkshire and The Humber

Lovely little family run cafe. Very welcoming and friendly. Lots of options on the menu for breakfast and lunch. We had a very generous bacon roll and a chicken and sweetcorn sandwich which comes with a little dressed salad. All the food was really tasty. Will definitely be back. Just what Strensall needs.

A small comfy garden centre cafe. Excellent drinks and toasted tea cake. Interesting choices of cake. The bread on sale was superb.

Didn't stay there, I'm staying locally. Tried to book a table for Sunday roast but was told that they no longer serve meals. Also their website shows a menu and no mention of food no longer being served. We did stay for a drink and the atmosphere was friendly. It is a child and dog friendly pub.

A beautiful place for an evening meal The place is so cosy and welcoming. The lady who served us seemed to be the owner who was very friendly and welcoming. Food was excellent, cosy atmosphere and excellent service. Cosy lights on the outside and the roaring fire as you walk in was lovely.

Best Sunday Lunch for a long time 😊

Lovely breakfast in a garden centre. We called here on our way home on a Sunday as the Highwayman was closed. The poached eggs were cooked to perfection on lovely homemade bread. The bacon sandwich again on homemade bread was so tasty, and wow.... the hash browns were so crispy! Lovely service and all served very prompt. Will definitely call again.

This was undoubtedly the best Sunday lunch I've had in a long time. Great staff friendly atmosphere. Dog friendly too !!

Used Cathay twice now, quality ingredients. Quality food.

Full of Halloween and Christmas goods. Couldn't find the seeds I was looking for.

Stopped off for a coffee, bit disappointed to pay 20p to use the toilet, especially when you don't carry cash.

This cafe is awesome. I am gluten free and have not had such a wonderful meal for breakfast (party in my mouth). The staff are clean, tidy and polite, working hard to maintain timely arrival of meals. Inside cafe is tidy and clean. I will definitely be back tomorrow morning and hopefully Monday to. So much food that my son could not eat all his. Thank you for catering for my needs so wonderfully. April.

We had a fantastic Sunday lunch at a great price. I love the no phones, no internet, no music, no TV rules.
