Great food at a great price. All day breakfast with toast and a hot drink is brilliant.

Excellent franchised coffee house. Ideal for meetings and networking groups. Great customer service, too.

Fantastic take away brilliant kebabs and really nice Greek salad. The fried chicken is pretty good as well 👍

First visit to The Parvin, and unfortunately it will be my last. I booked a table for Saturday night with a few friends (unfortunately Paddy Fields was booked up), we were seated quickly and drinks orders taken, first red flag was the wrong drink being served. We waited 30 minutes and no-one came to take our food order, so we had to go to the bar to ask for someone to take our order. A further 45 minutes before our food finally arrived, we were the last table in the restaurant to get served, having being seated at 7:30pm, we finally got our food at 8:50pm (and we didn't order starters!) We all ordered naan breads, and they delivered the wrong ones to half of us, which resulted in another 5 minutes wait for the correct ones to be cooked. My lamb pasanda was very tough, and sauce extremely sweet. I had to leave most of it. I've given 2 stars as my friends had better luck with their dishes, and thankfully the garlic and cheese naan was very tasty. We were honestly close to walking out after waiting well over an hour for our food, and had no apologies from the staff for the wait. I definitely won't be returning.

Very good selection of Sam Smiths beers at reasonable prices, but no TV, no mobile phones/tablets, and not much atmosphere.

Always lovely food and a warm welcome, we come almost every week for coffee and treats. Such good pastries and bread. Dog friendly.

Was down visiting in Haxby. Popped in on our pub tour ov the village. 😀 Great local pub, with very friendly bar staff and regulars. Made to feel very welcome 👍

Both of the staff seemed in a rather bizarre state of shock at the idea of serving a customer who exhibited an old fashioned thing called manners. When I politely asked for a chicken and bacon mayo sandwich the server named Maz barked, "isn't there one on there"? I asked if I could have it on white and there was visible huffing and puffing in general annoyance from her, when I asked for a baguette instead of a roll I thought her head was going to explode😂🤣😂 I won't talk about when I asked for salad as I don't have time to write up that part of the saga🤦‍♂️ Sufice to say a little customer service training wouldn't go amiss with he staff in this branch of coolants.

Lovely food and friendly staff. Very accommodating. Much better since it's under new management (again) ☺️

Price for just a bag of chips £3.30 which were not even nice.
