The best restaurants serving Default food in West Ecclesfield Sheffield Yorkshire and The Humber

We are SO LUCKY to have the Saffron Lounge as our local Indian takeaway! The food is delicious. My boyfriend and I had a sit down meal here over Christmas time too, and it was fabulous. Lovely decor inside, staff were attentive and friendly too!

Fantastic dining experience today. Food was delicious, and clearly home cooked! We had the pickle tray with the curry, and it accompanied the meal beautifully. Our friends enjoyed the lasagne, and a pork & stuffing sandwich. Service was warm, welcoming and efficient. Finished off with the lemon cheesecake, which I’d definitely come back for! Kiddies were spoilt with a choice of ice cream and accompaniments after their meals. Great value for money. Thank you so much for a lovely afternoon and evening.

We had our wedding at Whitley Hall recently and they were absolutely amazing. We had a brilliant day which was made possible by the attentive care of all the team. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious, the rooms for the ceremony and party were exceptional and the rooms that I and our guests stayed in were perfect. All in all, an amazing venue and a great team.

Top place , top staff , top atmosphere, cheap drinks , a disco on various Sundays which are very popular, the only warning is it's cash only !!!

Hoy los cuatro nos lo pasamos de maravilla. La comida era muy buena , se sirvió rápidamente y el personal era muy educado y atento. Como éramos 4 mujeres hablamos y comimos durante bastante tiempo, pero nunca nos apresuraron.

Great pub, great food, 2 for 1 on beer and meals at certain times. Friendly staff, lovely beer garden.

Para llevar solo pescado con papas fritas - no una comida en el restaurante. Menú limitado pero lo que venden está bien cocido, caliente y el pescado tiene bastante fino y crujiente rebozado. Como debería ser.

Please don’t be fooled by the pictures had my mums funeral wake their last Wednesday where do we start sandwiches cheese tuna seafood egg all chucked in one basket one of my elderly guests was allergic to seafood and before you mention this it’s impossible to check all guests hence they should have been separate and with labels on . One bowl of crisps and pasty looking sausage rolls. As for sweet selection one piece of cake per person it possibly may look like the buffet had been over catered for no people didn’t want it. Must also mention and this was brought to my attention by a number of guests the one staff left was quite rude had we been told we only had 90 minutes from the first guest arriving we would have been aware to leave the room wasn’t nice to be told sternly we should have been out of the room 25 mins ago. Ok so all the above is not a good look so here’s some constructive feedback do the catering in house cus years gone by it was superb.

Lovely place, very clean and well kept. Friendly landlord. If I lived in Greno, I would definitely have to be the local go-to pub.👌👍

We arrived on bank holiday monday having booked through using trip advisor. The server didn't know we had booked and there was nobody in the whole place. No Draught, no coke available. 2 seperate men's. One had brasserie 1806 branded, the other a rather colourful burger joint style menu branded with 'Krave'. The food was pretty poor, watery gravy, over expensive curry compared to everything else. £17 for a curry and rice. Just really bizarre. The only positive thing was the barman/server. He was really nice and polite. All in all a very strange experience.

Cracking pub at High Green, really good atmosphere and friendly locals.

Amazing hot delicious meals,highly recommend.
