The best restaurants serving British food in West Ecclesfield Sheffield Yorkshire and The Humber

Me and my hubbie walk a fair distance to this pub for the most fabulous home cooked food and the best pint around. Tanya and Jamie are such hard workers and nothing is too much trouble. Both friendly and welcoming despite having to work so hard to get the place up and running again after several knock backs including being treat very poorly by previous landlady, naming no names but take a look at the ONE and only bad review (lol) They deserve only the best after putting heart and soul into the place. Great for quiz night too, just make sure if you’re eating you leave plenty of room. Nice big portions. Especially the yummy fish and chips and homemade puddings. They don’t disappoint.

Called in today with family,one of whom was my 4 Yr old grandson for a meal for my Birthday.The Food was Lovely,We All Enjoyed it. The Staff were Really friendly and were great with my grandson. Would Highly recommend and will Definitely be calling again.

I’ve been going to crown and cushion for as long as I can remember, the food and service has always been fantastic, the sandwiches and chunky chips are especially nice
