The best restaurants serving Default food in West Marsh North East Lincolnshire Yorkshire and The Humber

I sometimes call here for a spot of lunch. I wouldn’t say it was the cheapest place but the food is nice. I enjoy the jacket potato with chilli cheese and topped with tortilla chips with lemon and ginger tea. As I say its not cheap over £7.00 for that so couldn’t do it every day but nice for a change.

First time Dining here with my Fiance after living in grimsby for over 10 years, i wish i knew this place sooner, the food was absolutely Michelin Star quality and the service was top notch, attentive and super friendly even giving us some lee way with our time at the table as we were 15 minutes late. Great food, nice tasting coffee. Very welcoming and a suitable spot for my daughter to play while waiting for her food and drink Overall 10/10

If Rick's cafe never reopens it'll be no loss. The owner is an arrogant and foul mouthed man who seems to think his lewd "jokes" are somehow amusing. As for the food, it's lathered in fat, and the chips are inedible due to being fried and refried again and again. The burgers are the most disgusting things I've eaten in a long time. Save your money and go to Gregg's or McDonald's, where the food is far better and the staff are professional and polite.

Liked the look of this classic grimsby pub from the outside and the music playing, went into this small busy pub and got 2 Pints and found a seat, good music on and sky sports, lively atmosphere and me and my dad had a fun time there having our pint, I do like these kind of pubs.

Never been disappointed here, food is always good as are the staff. Highly recommend

We have just been for the Christmas afternoon tea , I must say one of the best we've had, lovely thick veg soup and mini Yorkshire puds with beef and horseradish, delicious toasted sandwiches, good selection of mini cakes and more. Pleasant staff will definitely go again , to finish off a cocktail 🍹 each .

Excellent food, good menu choice, friendly staff and good value.

We were greeted immediately on arrival by a very friendly server, Chelsea who showed us to our seats and explained the online ordering process, checking in on us after a few minutes. Our food came very quickly and a mix up with our order which was entirely our fault was quickly resolved without fuss. We were also checked in on by Callum towards the end of our meal. Everything was delicious and it's so nice to go to a place with such great customer service. We would certainly return here when next in Grimsby. Thanks to all the team 🙌🏽

I recently visited here for the first time in well over a decade. I’ll be honest, I’m amazed it’s survived the national economic uncertainty in a town like Grimsby. But I was looking forward to seeing if it was as good as I remembered. It wasn’t. Inside it literally hasn’t changed since I came here in 2009. The prices of the food aren’t too bad, but the drinks are extortionate. I was served a small, half pint glass of flat coke for £3.50!!! When the pizzas and pasta arrived, it honestly tasted pre made. The pasta sauce tasted exactly like dolmio and the pizza bases were absolutely not made in the restaurant. They also use cheddar cheese on the pizza, which is just rank. After spending £50 on dinner with drinks (which, by the way was £11 for three soft drinks!) I regretted my rose tinted nostalgia and realised I should have spent my money elsewhere. I won’t be back.
