Next door to Docks Beers. Excellent for a nice pint, catching the last rays of sunshine. Great street food. Always good atmosphere.

Tasty food but you need to source a better bun. It completely falls apart as soon as you pick it up. We ate in, but loaded fries were cold as soon as they were ready. Got them replaced right away but I wouldn't say the new batch were hot enough either

I can't fault the burgers their delicious but the service is slow and to be fair the price is ridiculous I made my own today which tasted pretty much the same for a £5er tops for 2 people (and I only buy organic chicken breast) , whereas the chips are £4.95 for a portion that's the same size as a portion in a child's happy meal. The price of the chips really are what's brought me here, we went the other night and I really fancied chips, passing several chip shops on route and said to my partner na they'll B cold by the time we've got the burger. Big regret I wish I'd have just picked a portion up and popped them in my oven prior to going to mocking. I actually could not believe how little amount of chips there were like a 1/4 what you'd get from a normal take out for more than double the price. What on earth there's note special about them no fancy coating just average skin on fries... This is Grimsby ffs I could have got spam chips and mushy peas for half the price of them fries and to top it off I asked for cajun seasoning for a extra 35p which I had to put the fries in a collinder and shake the garbage off as its simply pure salt with a bit of curry powder... Your fries are utter nonsense. Get a grip

Very expensive for what it is. The thing that really did it for me was when we asked for some more salt on the chips we paid 4.75 for and they said no, they come pre-salted.

We had the wings and tenders and oh my god they were perfectly cooked and I’m still wearing most of the bbq sauce!

Very nice milkshakes!! It's our first time checking in, bought tickets for Jesus Jones performing in July so had a quick look at the venue whereabout, where to park etc. For sure we will be back many times before the gig.

Very very late! Says it’s been delivered, but food is nowhere to be seen. Feel I’ve been scammed. Probably not the restaurants fault, but the driver taking on too many deliveries!

Have been several times in the past and have never felt the need to review however, we went to a quiz night last week and the food this time was mediocre, cold and tasteless. The service was very slow and chaotic and my order got messed up, I ended up paying more to correct the mistake and when it finally arrived everyone else in my group had finished and my meal was cold. Can’t blame the even as we have been before and not had any problems. Won’t eat there again unless things improve which is a shame as the bar and function room is excellent.

This place has become a joke, ordered food at 12.00 for collection at 12.50 got there and told it’s going to be at least another 30mins!!! Second time this has happened and staff have a like it or lump it attitude. Too successful to care. Never order again

Food okay, not mind-blowing would have liked it hotter but understand that travel time has to be taken in to account. Delivery time however, was shocking, ordered at 12:40, got my food at 15:15. 2.5 hours is abysmal. Asked for a refund, not sure on the outcome but I would never wait that long in a restaurant so why should I have to for delivery? Would have been less frustrating if there was some communication about the delay. Number on the app is also wrong so had to go to their website to find

Excellent, fast delivery considering it was early Saturday evening. Food was excellent. Will definitely be ordering from here again.

Fries were cold and sent the wrong topped fries out with different sauce on them. Also got a wrong sauce with the tenders. We ordered and it was a 35min- 50min delivery. Arrived closer to 10pm (very late compared with the due time). Tried calling through Just Eat and the number was wrong so I couldn’t contact them.

Drinking in Docks Beers. Pop out to order food and they give you a little red buzzer. When your food is ready it will buzz and light up. Great food. The loaded chips were amazing.

Nice food was quiet when we visited, great service and really liked the biscoffee chicken wings 😋😋

Lukewarm Parked 2mins up rd to eat No seasoning only taste was red onion Chicken burger borderline burnt crunchy but when opened bread it stuck to it.I didn't eat much. Husband's special burger said was no flavour and left quite puddle of grease on paper. Kids meal grandson didn't like chicken tenders greasy but with hardly any coating which was strange. Been looking forward to trying for a long time and 28 quid is expensive for 2 burgers and kids meal it would be justified if great tasting and quality. Disappointed

Chicken tender quality has hugely gone downhill. It used to be you could come here and get some chicken tenders on their own and they were so good you didn't need to mask the taste with bread and sauce. But now, I think you need to order a burger or wrap as the base quality of the tenders has fallen off the cliff. And I honestly feel bad writing this because honestly I would have said this the best casual chicken place in town hands down but I'd genuinely rather go to KFC now. To be more specific, it cost £10 for some jerk fries and 3 tenders. The fries are nice, but the chicken tenders are disappointingly small and the batter is a thin layer of no flavour. To top it off the chicken is extremely dry. This has been the case for the last 2 visits and I'm afraid to say I think if my next visit is as bad it will be the last. I can only assume corners for profitability are being taken, as I can not otherwise explain the severe drop in quality from the first year of operation vs now.

WOW the koop vegan wrap was delicious, so many flavours and such a change from the usual tasteless vegan food. Added to that I also had seasoned fries and it was a very generous plateful. Food is a little pricey but definitely worth it for a tasty treat :)

While the food as great as always, I think there was a mix-up as we ordered Mock Tenders but got Bird Tenders instead. The rest of the order was fine.

the delivery driver didn't tell the hotel reception what room I was in as per the instructions and by the time I went to find out where the food was it was cold.

The food wasnt very warm so we put it in the microwave. The mac/ cheese was a bit bland but the other food was really nice. we spent £85 for 5 people and was very filling and enough food. would order again.

Ordered through Deliveroo. We ordered the Mac & cheese, poutine and a loaded fries. First of all it was an hour late, secondly, the food was cold when it arrived, and the mac and cheese was missing the cheese. It was just pasta. If you read the description on the website, it states a rich and creamy vegan cheese sauce. Disappointed is an understatement. Never again. Absolutely disgusting.

Ordered for 3 o’clock, received email confirmation advising food would be with me for 3 o’clock. Just Eat app said delivery estimated around 3:25. Food arrived 3:39. Any other day, this might be a mere irritation but today I was due to meet friends at 3:30, so I’ll now be as late as my order was! Not happy.

What can I say this place always delivers a meal that never disappoints. Everything on the menu is worth a try. It’s quality, fresh, tasty and great value for money as I’ve never felt hungry after as the portion size is fantastic Personally I love the black garlic truffle butter and Parmesan tots, chicken tenders, a buffalo blu burger and on a Sunday there’s always the chicken Yorkshire wrap, obviously not all at the same time.🤣🤣🤣 You can take away or eat in docks beers (have a beer as you eat or buy a few cans while you wait for your takeaway) it’s all good. Totally worth a visit and won’t disappoint!

I love the food from here ! I can honestly say that the seasoned fries with jerk seasoning are the BEST fries I've ever had. Most takeaway fries aren't very pleasant when you have them delivered but these remain delicious. Crispy on the outside , fluffy on the inside and perfectly seasoned with the jerk having just the right amount of kick to it. The chicken tenders are exactly that - juicy and tender. I'm in love with the Reaper sauce. And that coleslaw is so, so good - so creamy and tasty. The delivery staff are always really friendly and upbeat too. I'm not vegan and haven't tried the mock chicken tenders or vegan options, but the sauces , sides and coleslaw are all vegan and are delicious. I want to know the secret to the beautiful creamy coleslaw!

This is a fab spot for families! My children were given colouring to do from the Docks Beers team and me and my husband had a drink followed by some lovely food. The kids meals are great portions and good value. We had a burger and fries each and they were delicious! Will definitely visit again.

I visited Docks with group of work friends and we all ordered Mockingbird. The ordering process was quick and easy and we enjoyed drinks inside the bar while we waited for our order. The buzzer service worked well and the food was ready in no time at all. I ordered the salad with bird and so shared some fries. I really enjoyed the food and would recommend the salad. The portion size was good and I was full after eating. Will definitely visit again.

Love this place! Best place in Grimsby to get good quality fresh food. You can either eat in at Docks Beers brewery (nextdoor), or take away. The menu has a great variety with vegan options for everything. I love the HUGE chicken burgers, topped fries, salad, and milkshakes. My children enjoy the chicken tenders, mac n cheese, gravy and churros! The chicken is always tender and juicy.

We came from Belgium to taste this beer/food. It's almost 900km. We were not disappointed. Only one regret: not to be staying longer. We took a good resolution: we will come to Grimsby once a year!! It's a deal! Thank you mates ❤️

I am going to be very biased here but I'd say this has got to be one of the best streetfood places I've been too in the 28 Years I've been alive. I travelled 327 miles to come try here again and I must say it didn't disappoint. The food is amazing, great flavour and so fresh!! I've been to many wing festivals and I'd say the wings from here are definitely in my top 3 I've ever had. It's such a shame I love so far away as I'd be here every night 😁 If you around the Grimsby area definitely worth a visit you will not be disappointed

Food was only a few minutes late but lukewarm and considering the chicken burger was supposed to be Buffalo Blu, there was not a single hint of blue cheese at all, just an overwhelming chilli sauce. We'd left ordering from here for a few months but there's been no improvement. And please don't say it's Saturday, it's busy... that's no surprise, is it? Hoping for quality food given the price but again disappointed.

It arrived late. no apology. Loaded fries were really salty with no sesame seeds. Not the usual standard we've come to expect from them. Brilliant milkshake though.

Docks beers for German beer tasting which was great. Let down by Mocking Bird food. £9 for a hotdog! The bread roll was nowhere near fresh. Could have been saved by warming it . Won’t be eating from here again, just not value for money.

Unbelievable food. Left the review until I'd had it a few times to test the consistency and each meal has been absolutely amazing. Loads of flavour, the chicken has always been cooked beautifully, it's too difficult to pick a favourite but the last one I tried was the sunday wrap and I'll definitely be ordering that again. Great to wash it down with a beer as well!

This is possibly the worst food establishment in Grimsby the food was half an hour longer than what they said and they forgot half my order so I had to wait for that too. We ordered the mock topped tots and their so called mock chicken just tastes like bread clumps. HIGHLY disappointing

Mockingbird is my favourite thing when I go to docks, so when I couldn't go tonight with my bestie, I got mockingbird delivered to me. The chicken was so tasty and moist, and the poutine tots are just simply the best, the only disappointment was that mockingbird was out of blue cheese sauce 😢 that my favourite with chicken tenders.

Extremely good food! Definitely ordering again, and as promised to the lovely lady who delivered, she can pet my dog again 😅

The Buffalo Blu fries were VERY vinegary and not pleasant at all. The Hot Reaper fries were so hot that they were inedible.

Ordered my food through Grimsby and Clee eats as was asked to by the previous delivery driver. Good should have arrived at 8.40, didn’t arrive until 9.10. Food arrived stone cold, tried to contact them but nobody answered so sent a text no reply. Next day sent a message on messenger and have still not had so much as an apology.Really poor will not be using again and suggest you don’t either

2nd time I have had food from mockingbird. It’s absolutely fab. cooked fresh tasty street food I should have taken a photo but couldn’t wait to tuck in. IVE MADE MULTIPLE ORDERS OVER TIME TO THE RESTAURANT AND ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS THE FOOD HAS BEEN EXTREMELY LATE AND ITEMS HAVE BEEN MISSING. IVE FOUND THIS EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING AS MY PARTNER AND I LOVE THE FOOD WHEN IT IS CORRECT & ON TIME BUT THAT SEEMS FAR AND FEW BETWEEN. I MADE AN PRE-ORDER TONIGHT FOR ROAST DINNER WRAPS AND NOT ONLY DID THE ORDER ARRIVE LATE BUT THE GRAVY WAS MISSING AND THERE WAS NO WAY OF GETTING IN TOUCH TO RECTIFY AS THE PHONE NUMBER WAS NOT GOING THROUGH. MORE OFTEN THAT NOT WE ARE LEFT DISSATISFIED BY THE BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE.

The food is always nice my review is based on my last visit ordered food online at 18:00 for 19:10 collection however when I arrived at 19:10 food wasn’t even started seems they forgot about it , food took a another 40 mins to get it ready I wasn’t very impressed was no point ordering in advance not even an apology was just passed a buzzer to wait

WOW!! Just taken delivery of my very first mockingbird food order & absolutely outstanding food!! Even down to the presentation. The pesto burger is absolutely delicious, you can tell you use quality ingredients. The taster tots are the perfect accompaniment to the burger- especially with the aioli dip! Man I hate writing this. Delivery took over an hour and a half. Mac and cheese was for sure made hours prior and then just kept in some kind of hot hold. Was all stuck together, not creamy. Tenders, cold. Fries cold but the chicken on top somewhat warm. £22 total order cost and really thought this would be nice for the price. Shame it was the opposite. Always down to help support local independent street food places, but i could of saved half of my money and been more satisfied with Mcdonalds. Big shame.

Ordered from here a few times now, the food is always spot on I never leave reviews but had to after ordering today the food was gorgeous came on time and warm. Much better than just ordering a McDonald’s or pizza. Me and my 3 year old love sharing one of their milkshakes.

Most of it was more than perfect food just the mac and cheese abit dry could do with being abit more saucy. 🙂
