Would highly recommend people to stay away from this place, Went here today ( Sunday ) Upon arrival was faced with a notice saying that they we’re closed and would only be open for breakfast only until further notice “Due to shortage of staff” which was rather disappointing as it was my mums birthday and it didn’t get any better as we then went to another Brewers Fayre The old brickworks at Drighlington to find a similar outcome with another notice saying “Due to staff shortages we are closing at 4pm with last food orders at 3pm!! Which was an awful experience and £25 down in taxi fares we then gave up all hope and we took our business elsewhere. We then ended up at Toby Carvery which was Absolutely fantastic, the best roast I’ve ever had and all of the staff were lovely, Warm welcoming on arrival. Nice to know where Brewers Fayre’s customer satisfaction/loyalty lies or is at…. Could have at least had the decency to advertise that they would be closed.

Was lucky enough to have a curry bought for me from Eastern Spice (so could be worth bearing in mind there could be a no-cost bias through out). I was perfectly happy with my curry, naan and onion bahji were a great accompaniment. If I was in the area I would gladly get a takeaway from Eastern Spice

Went with family for a meal 4 adults 3 kids ordered drinks then food took ages for food to come, then waited for our table to be cleared, ordered 5 sundae deserts and 2 chocolate fudge cakes took about 1/2 hour for them to come then they only bought sundaes then about 10 mins later brought a chocolate fudge but didn’t bring a spoon then waited again for other chocolate fudge cake then had to ask for our spoons.when we got our bill said we had had 13 drinks we had 3 and 1/2 pints of coke and 3 orange cordials when questioned bill was told we charge for each 1/2 pint so they tried to charge for 3 pints of cordial for the kids. Hence will not be going back as service horrendous took over 2 hours for a meal and overcharging for drinks😡😡

Came an hour away to take family out for a meal, food was nice but one waitress was rude when checking ID and pulling faces and being nearly 30 years of age... there was no please or thank you, ruined the atmosphere. Won't be coming here again based on this experience and being made to feel uncomfortable. The other waitress was nice though.

Disappointed with our experience, food was ok but it just wasn't hot, my scrambled eggs were flat cold as soon as I started eating it, had 2 slices of toast with my veggie breakfast which were just piled on top! Better presentation would be on a side plate. It also felt cold in the cafe. The grilled tomato didn't look or taste grilled!! And the mushrooms were tasteless and just seemed like they had been blanched in water. Sauteed in a bit of butter or Olive oil with some seasoning would be nice!

Went with my 2 grandsons and my daughter & daughter-in-law for lunch. Fabulous, friendly service and very welcoming with the children ( only 2 and 1 year old) Food was lovely and the children ate free with pizza or spaghetti to choose from. On requesting dairy free cheese they even popped out to get some dairy free cheese to top the nachos for her. Fabulous little place and excellent service.
