Not had much luck with take aways in Hull in particular Asian ones, this was superb, one of the if not the best Dopiaza we have had, more expensive than many but truly worth it.

I complained about this order 2 weeks ago and have never received a reply or resolution.

Jade is a credit to this pub, such a fantastically beautiful person and host. I will recommend this pub to all of my friends based on the experience jade provided!!

I've tried food from there before a few times, the chicken was always too dry and tasteless, same as the rice absolutely awfull, I stop ordering food from there because I had a food intoxication one time, also they should be ashamed of having the portuguese flag on the wall, this restaurant has absolutely nothing to do with Portugal's food, this guys should be ashamed of putting my country's flag on the wall.

Been trying to book this for months and been unable to get through on the phone. Managed to get through yesterday to book a table for today. We turned up and it was shut. Think we’ve given up hope now :(

Ordered tonight as a takeaway, lamb rogan josh , mild to medium, and a garlic chilli chicken, cooked beautifully, tastiest curries we have had , dined in previously and always just as lovely, thanks again for the lovely food 😋

Very nice place, polite staff and it was a surprise to see the Hawkstone range, love their cider. I will be coming here regular and hope bar is around for years.

Great for an adult meet up. We popped in with the kids for a quick pub meal which was great value for money but it was Saturday late afternoon and the rugby was on so it was a bit loud and full, however it was still a great visit. If you're watching sports with the lads and drinking beer it's perfect !

I visited for Christmas drinks with my family, to be greeted by a blonde waitress named Leah She was rude and shushed my husband who was asking a question. Spent most of her time on her phone, there was a lipstick mark on my glass and when I told her this she rolled her eyes and snatched it off the table, taking 20 minutes to come back with a replacement. Never had a problem with this place before it’s a family favourite of ours but certainly will not be coming back again. Try employing older staff with experience in the hospitality industry rather than ignorant rude teenage girls then maybe you will not lose customers!
