The food was absolutely amazing. We ordered the wings, mild and hot, with a side of lemon herb sauce. Everything was super delicious and the portions were very generous. The staff were very kind and the food also arrived fast. Would definitely recommend to family and friends

Came from out of town for a night out in the city and fancied some food 😋 like we all do after sinking some ale and cane across peri peri. can't fault the place soon as we walked in was very welcoming and took our order without no confusion. got back to our hotel and tucked in and OMG! best chicken, chips and rice we have had and it looks open until 2AM 😝 definitely will be returning and trying different stuff and won't be rushing to KFC! definitely recommend this place to anyone. hidden little gem 💎

The portion of chicken and rice were really small than I expected. The sauce I've ordered went all in the bag, I've ordered two large chips but I've got only one large chips but you can't tell that is large. The chicken wings were really tiny and tasted like BBQ and the rice portion was really small not even one person can be full, and I've spent over £30 on the food, will never order from there again.

Burger was dripping in off tasting mayonnaise. Mayo wasn't listed on the ingredients. Also didn't include the turkey ham on my partners food listed. Burgers are half the price and the same quality from late night takeaways at half the price. The sauces are also dominated by the amount of mayo. Please list this on your ingredients online

Had an amazing visit here. Came as a large group and took up every seat, the restaurant managed this very well. Food was delicious, really nice chicken and good prices. I also hear that the chops were good although I didn't order them. The service here from all all staff is one to remember, everyone was nice and treated us really well. To finish as a treat from the restaurant they provided us with dessert, a whole cake to share.

Absolute exceptional service from Bilal and Jannat! Came down with a group of 28 from London and the owners went out of their way to accommodate and cater for each and every one of us. Gave us complimentary drinks, ensured we were all well fed and had everything we ordered. Bilal even went to the extent of getting us a lovely cake. Made all our nights after a long day of travelling. Would 100% recommend coming down! Chicken and rice was a complete hit

Something different from the deluge of branded venues, this is a lovely restaurant with a large menu and great value for money. The interior looks neat and fresh with info about the company themselves. The opening hours are very good for this kind of food, and for this area of the city. Service was nice, though they use pen and paper for bookkeeping which I didn't think still existed in our digital age. The food was quick to arrive and very tasty. I'm not the most experienced connoisseur of peri-peri so I always underestimate how spicy it can be - when they say it's hot they mean hot! Overall this deserves much more business and renown that what it currently gets.

Awesome food with a great service

Used to love coming here but has gone down hill so much. The place is freezing cold and the heating is never on so you can’t really sit and enjoy your meal as you are shivering all the time and have to keep your coat on. This heating issue is not just a one off but has happened to me on more than one occasion. Anyway, I went there and ordered a chicken fillet burger meal deal. Chicken fillet burger is not composed of a chicken fillet but a large size chicken nugget. Bun is too big for that nugget and for most parts you are only eating bun without any fillet or salad or cheese or sauce. Will not go there again.

Went today after a trip to The Deep. Worst burger I have ever had. Chicken was old, dry and hard. My wife got the same burger and hers was the same. Disgusting.

My order has been accepted. delivery time was delayed. the order was not complete. 2 pieces of corn I paid for were missing. I was not informed by phone that the product was out of stock. they were replaced with stale rice without my consent. it did not match my order. the food was cold and tasteless. waste of money. Used to be really good. I’m not sure what’s happened recently, but their chicken has become super dry, chips went downhill, all the sauces are watery and became really stingy with their garlic mayo (which was phenomenal) I’m really sad to say this, but I don’t think I’ll be going to Peri Peri anymore (after being a really regular customer for almost a year!)

I’m not one to complain but first of all when we received the order our rice was missing, we ordered a quarter chicken and it came all cold, then the lamb chops we ordered were pink and bloody inside, abit undercooked. Usually really like this place but it was a disappointment

For the second time we came to this restaurant from another town for the good food,which I have absolutely no comment on, very tasty, and good portion for the price. Last time when we came the manager or the owner was around and it was weeks after the opening. ..the service was amazing and the staff was so freindly and quick. Yesterday we went with our friends and were really upset with the service...if there is lower than one star would give it to this miserable experience. It shows on google maps that they open 3:30 we went after 4 they said they haven't yet opened 2 groups of people came after us. they took their orders without giving us the priority..then kept the food going for them and delayd ours almost an hour,and when we asked they said that mistakenly they served to the other group..and said it will take them 10 min. to prepare ours.. almost 30 mins then they brought it...the food was good. I hope that the manager/owner will see this review and check the cameras if he really cares about the business he is running.

Don't know Hull that well, saw this place, looked nice and clean good helpful staff (young girl) shame the peri sauce didn't taste nice and the chicken felt stale and rubbery, didn't settle well over night either.

Chicken fillet burger is 2.3/5 . The fillet is literally frozen type of chicken, no spices, just dead. The peri tenders were okeeeeh 3/5 . Overall okeeeh, but don’t think will be back unless starving and no other options….

Nice food, good portion sizes and the staff are really nice. The owner was a really nice bloke. Give it a try, have a change from the usual takeaway food.

We ordered £70 worth food and waited 25 mins for food to come when came was incomplete again did wait 10 mins for my daughter meal and and they again missed my other daughter’s meal went to the counter and asked once again more 10 mins wait and costumer service was absolutely rubbish and was total waste of money and time avoid at any cost.

Excellent flavour chicken and rice. Takeaway food was served in separate containers to keep heat in and food as fresh as possible. Service is amazing and the manager; Farouk is a delight to chat with while waiting for the order. Would definitely recommend and will definitely order again.

Never recommend this place zero communication with customers and staff was untrained.

Tldr false advertising, poor customer service and high prices. Ordered chicken fillet burgers, looked like a flattened version of a McDonald's fish fillet. Nothing like the picture but wasn't inedible. Also ordered lamb chops despite saying on the wall that the meat is marinated for 24 hours it's clearly grilled and then after they pour some nandos sauce on top don't even bother cooking it on the grill with the sauce. The server didn't bring out the drinks with the food so when I went to the counter the guy was filling their fridge with drinks, I asked for a drink twice very clearly and he just ignored me and continued. Poor customer service. A

Just tried it for the first time and got the parmo chicken with the extra hot sauce but they was not a bit of spice to it. Very bland and about half a pound of cheese on top of it what spoilt it won't be going back in a hurry.

Ordered a salad box with chicken and a burger. Burger was great, but instead of a salad box, I got a mini box with 3 or 4 pieces of dry chicken, no salad whatsoever.

I went to peri peri Hermanos with a friend today and we were both so amazed! Due to the lack of halal restaurants in Hull, we was excited to try it out and was deffo not dissappointed! The service, the quality of food and the interior was all so good! The food came so quick, was piping hot and delicious! Such a large portion for such a good price! I never really write reviews but this place deserved it! Preferred it more than Nandos!

I ordered lamb chops and chicken thighs, they were OK, flavour was there but for some reason it wasn't warm enough. Didn't say anything. I ordered the gourmet beef burger upon the request of the Little wannabe bengali boy gangster, once i recieved the so called gourmet burger, i inspected it, bun looked like someone put their finger through it, the meat was so thick, processed meat, definitely from the freezer, definitely not fresh and definitely not gourmet. Just sad to see they selling something that's not true. If you want to sell it say it as it is, not something else which you can't deliver. The cucumbers in the salad was slimey, not sure why, but they're not meant to be.

While in the past I have enjoyed the food and no complaints on that just the service could have been improved for how I was treated today. I struggle with anxiety and going to places on my own. I’m trying my best now to fight that and took my son who is 7 with me after school to get something to eat. I paid at the counter with my card and my son ran to sit down so we could dine in. I needed to go to the toilet so I asked my son not to move or talk to anyone so he stayed where he was. While in the toilet it sounded like someone tried to enter or knock. This made me think it was my son needing me then it happened a second time so I rushed. When I open the door the woman staff member is stood outside saying my payment hadn’t gone through. This invaded my personal space and caused a panic attack as I also have autism. I wore my sunflower lanyard to show I had a hidden disability. I went to the counter to find out why my payment hadn’t gone through while my son was still sat on his own. At this point I noticed a notification on my phone my bank app showing the payment had indeed gone through. I showed the two woman at the counter my app and proved I had paid. They were confused and I wasn’t going to pay twice eventually they said it’s fine and I went back to sit with my son. The food arrived and was served to us at this point my son has my phone from watching kids YouTube and the manager comes up to me and says their is a issue with my payment it hasn’t gone through. I had to take my phone off my son and once again prove I have paid. He explains he wasn’t around when this happened. I felt so stressed about the situation that I rushed my food and took my son and I home and broke down. I didn’t get to enjoy my food because I had a overload and this event drained my energy. The issue was their technology not me. They should have been more mindful and I should have got an apology and it shouldn’t have happened to me twice.

One of the best or rather, the best peri peri chicken in hull city. One of the finest taste if you are looking for a spicy peri peri chicken. I can eat it 5 days a week trust me, and this is an honest review coming directly from heart or rather my tummy which remains happy every time I visit this place.

Taste is good, and decent price, but when ordering half a chicken i expect a proper half(leg and breast) we were given each 2 legs which is not a half chickem in any part of the world, and if not available, let the customer know.

Amazing food couldn't of been worse

After attending a site meeting in the City, I decided to call in for my lunch having noticed the franchise had recently opened. My first impressions from walking in, was that the premises was really clean, well lit and very well presented with consistent branding. The owner Faruk (very friendly and helpful) suggested the chicken strips with a mild peri peri sauce, as I don’t do too spicey, so I went with his recommendation. The price was very reasonable, the service was quick and it was all wrapped up in a well presented branded box within a branded paper carrier bag to take away. Very stylish and a good touch. Having got home, the size of the portions struck me first as they were very, very generous. The 6 chicken strips were huge and the peri peri sauce, a beautiful vivid yellow colour with accents of red and green chillis. After getting stuck in, the chicken was perfectly cooked and was beautifully succulent and very, very tasty with a nice hint of background spice. Perfect. The chips were spot on, lovely and crispy with garlic and chilli dips that helped to push my taste buds over the edge. All in all, Hermano’s know exactly what they’re doing and provide very well priced, generous, tasty portions that deliver on all fronts. There’s loads of choice and the staff are really friendly and know their menu. Call your friends, family, work colleagues as there’s a new Sheriff in town. You will not be disappointed. 10/10

This was my first time trying this branch. I’ve had quite a few takeaways in hull but I’ve got to say they’ve hit the nail with this one. I took my family here and they have a very nice seating area which was very clean compared to a lot of other takeaways as most don’t care about the rubbish on the table. We ordered 2 parmos and 2 breast burger meals. The food was actually full of flavour and wasn’t dry at all and the chips were cooked nice aswell. Their sauces are better then any other takeaway in hull reminds me of my days back in luton. The chilli was a nice level of spicy and wasn’t bitter as the other ones I’ve had in hull. I am very happy they have finally opened a takeaway in hull where we can actually get good food and I will 100% be a repeat customer and will make sure this is my weekly takeaway.

Everything about my experience here was 10/10. I’ve been to quite a few peri peri places but this has to be my favourite because the food was absolutely delicious and i’m usually quite critical when it comes to food. I have already told everyone i know about this place. Thank you for such a lovely dinner :)

NOT GOOD ENOUGH SERVICE Been 3 times and the service is not good enough. Slow wrong orders and too many staff stood doing nothing. It’s a shame as the food is ok. Not Nando’s standard but ok for the price. Should get staff who are trained massive let down. Shane as I live opposite and would be a regular but for me service is key.

Honestly this is hands down the best place to eat in Hull. Been here a handful of times the service, staff,food and even the music is absolutely amazing! every single time. Such amazing food! Really fast service it took less than 10 minutes for the food to come to our table!

Giving 1 star for overall service and 1 star just for having Parmos on the menu. We ordered 4 meals for delivery but only received 3/4 of the order as they missed the fries off 2 of the meals. This seems to be a prerequisite for Hull takeaways so these guys are blending in just perfect. I did ring to ask if they would sort it out but all they could offer was delivering the rest of the order when they next go out. Could be anytime so we weren’t willing to let the rest of the order just sit there going cold. Asked for a partial refund to be told “we don’t do refunds, we only do food”. They obviously aren’t keen on repeat customers either. The so called manager was a bit rude and could definitely do with improving his customer service skills. As far as the food goes, the Parmo was in comparison with a Manjaros, (not a good thing in my humble opinion, cooked over a candle) definitely soulless and seemed to be topped with that bought in a tub/packet mix béchemel mixed with flavourings. The chicken wings are definitely the cheapest of the cheap too, mainly gristle. If it’s chicken you’re after, Nandos. If it’s Parmos you’re after Arabisc Parmo are the kiddies.

Visited the peri peri after a busy day at college, opted for the American cheese (highly recommend). Thoroughly enjoyed, friendly staff and a great place to go for something to eat.

Had the Peri Peri Parmo. Il be honest, the best parmo ive ever had. The size of the chicken was massive, the peri peri heat is a great touch! and the hot cheese and sauce was perfect. 10/10 and a new favourite place on prinny ave!
