Food Express in Kingston upon Hull, City of

Usually its good but the past few times we have ordered they have messed up the order or not send the items we have asked for. Tonight he repeated the order twice on the phone and it was incorrect when it arrived, they didn't send one of the pizzas, I called back, they repeated the pizza that was missing and they sent one out quickly. The pizza was then also not what we ordered. I ordered a chicken and donna kebab and they sent the mixed kebab obviously costing more. Stated on the phone the order was £40.80 then the delivery driver charged us £45.20. I dont think i will be going back now which is a shame, when they get it right its nice.

ordered a grilled chicken burger with no cheese and only mayo, when i got there they had grilled the cheese on top of the chicken. i explained i didnt want cheese on the burger and had said when ordering. the response of the man behind the counter was to grab the melted cheese with his hands off the chicken and throw it in the bin. didnt make a new one, manhandled the food and served it to me with melted cheese all over it still. the food went straight in the bin when i left and i will never be eating from this establishment again, hygiene level is non existent its unbelievable

Use to be really good, past few orders have been rubbish. Tonight had a chicken wrap which was dry, the chips had been reheated and the pizza was cold and soggy. Used this place many times, tonight will be the last

Spent £43 pounds did not receive my garlic and chilli sauce for my £14 mixed kebab. Not the same on its own. Might seem petty but I did ring up and was told it would be sorted, obviously not

Food's average at best They seem to either forget an item in your order or they get it totally wrong altogether Bought a doner wrap last time, they forgot the garlic and the food was closer to cold by the time i even left the takeaway My mate ordered yesterday, they messed his order up too His words: "Ordered pizza and chips , they send 3 bags of chips and cheese and a wrap" Instead of returning with the correct order they returned with just a bottle of coke lol Maybe hire some less incompetent staff and you might be decent

First visit. Great food choice at reasonable prices and proper portion sizes. I got an Omelette with chips which was lovely. I'll be using Express at least once a week from now on.

This is by far the best takeaway for doner kebabs and burgers . Can't say a bad word about them. Food arrives hot but can sometimes be a wait

Was excellent when it opened nice fresh quality food every order and very competitively priced However since then food quality has gone downhill drastically and prices have shot up Was a great little gem of the area that had no competition when it came to value and quality but now its the same as most others Update a few months after first review. Same situation old dough flat and crispy not fluffy and soft as it should be Ingredients seem to be cheaper and of an inferior quality even though prices continue to rise....price increases are happening for everyone at the minute but don't serve worse food for more money

WOW how this place has gone downhill, will not be returning again

Ate my 10" margarita within a minute, whoever cooked it you a G! Best pizzas by far from here, highly recommend! Nout beats food express

These guys know how it should be done! as you can see from the pictures I have taken, the packaging of the food was nicely packaged & presented in a way on par with that of an al la carte restaurant, the meat was tasty, tender, consistent & packed with flavour, the condiment's such as the chilly sauce was made from fresh as well as the salad which was fresh & crunchy, the pizza dough seemed nice & fluffy how it should be. I must say I travelled from the other side of the city to come here & it was well worth it, you have won a regular, keep up the good work.

Very friendly and kind staff, always smiling and chatty, food is fresh and delicious and portions are always value for money. It's a good takeaway and I would reccomend trying here. Pizzas are out of this world.

Sometimes over do it with chip spice but the food is banging 👌

Been using these guys since they opened and always make a point of getting food from here when im over this side of Hull. Great service, staff are always friendly and engaging. Special shout out to Millie, always pleasant, smiley and friendly. Keep up the good service guys.😁👍❤️

Food was avage and the portion size are small. If you want to do small portions then fair enough but this needs to be reflected in the price of the food not charging full price for a small portions or hardly any toppings on the pizza.

Felt I had to leave a review because it was so good! First time we ate from here was the opening so was half price which was a bargain so thought maybe a fluke but just eaten here again and it was all spot on. Doner meat is nice and it's usually well nice or like old boots init but this was lovely. Even got a little free cheesy garlic bread which was a nice touch and also got inhaled. Definitely our new go to pizza shop. Staff were friendly too and it seemed very busy but all ran efficiently.

Tonight was the 2nd time we'd ordered from Food Express and I can honestly say it was beautiful. Ordered at 7.31pm and it was at my door by 7.53pm. The food was that hot we had to wait for it to cool down and my special request of 'loads of garlic butter' made the food even better! We will definitely order again. Soon.
